Yume looked at Dory, "I'm not scared of you because I know you. Though I'm still a little worried since -" she stopped, hearing what Dory had said. 'I won't let anything happen to you'. She smiled, remembering her friend, and wishing her friend were there. "I'm not scared of you," she restated, "because you're my friend and I trust you," she said. Still she didn't trust him as much as her friend, but she still trusted him, at least. Maybe she was getting braver.

Whoop let out a whoop happily, "Yeah, eating time!" He made sure Pegasus was with him, then headed for the snack table. On the way he passed Dory and a girl in a turquoise dress.
"Wanna go get something to eat, fish face?" he joked. "And the guy in the gill costume can come too!" He giggled and waved his paw at Yume. "Kidding, kidding! Just kidding! You're lovely, really!" Before she could swat him he zipped over to the snack table and began picking out fruits and munching away happily. "Do you like grasshoppers, or are you a fruit only kinda girl?" he asked Pegasus.

I prefer fruit myself. I am not too terribly fond of grasshoppers.

Pegasus picked up an orange and sliced it neatly in half with a claw. "I prefer fruit." She started delicately eating the orange, not getting a drop on her pristine white gown.

A roar shook the canopy of the Dryad as a large flaming creature leapt into the circle of dressed-up pykiin.  He looked like a Pykiin, yes, but his eyes were of the most malicious type of fire and he was about one young kiin larger than any of the adults. His legs were short, but extremely muscular and his entire form spoke of power and control. Stalking around the clearing in a wide circle, the firey adult Pykiin glared at each guest in turn, some marvelous, some mysterious, and some downright ridiculous. He finally settled himself onto his haunches, head held high, and began to speak in a voice deeper than any had ever heard. "I have come in search of three rare, mysterious items. For the past half year I have searched for them - no one ever believed that they were real, and they didn't listen to my theories on the strange and amazing magic they are thought to hold. I saw the way many of you performed during the Frenzy last night, searching every crevice for pykiin, and I was amazed. You are the ones who can find these three items for me. "I want you to go out to the Valley, quickly now, and search everywhere for these three items. They are rumored to lie within the Valley. The first pykiin to find each one will be able to keep it for his or her pounce. The items I am looking for are: The Talon of Indifference, the Crystalline Dragonfly, and the Golden Feather. Search swiftly!" ((Good luck everyone! To gain one of these three items, you must search the Life in the Valley forum until you find one, then while you are on the Celebration account, post the picture of the item, the thread where you found it, and the page number you found it on. The same rules for the Masquerade Ball apply, too, so make sure to post your pykiin's alias in glowing letters!)) |
