Swirl grinned at Cornelius and looked up at the Dryad, admiring her outfit for the night.
"Well, if you listen closely, everything is singing." she said softly, and then closed her eyes to listen.
The wind whistled through the grass, and the trees lulled in tune. Cicadas and peeper frogs buzzed and meeped, holding the rhythm, and occasionally an owl hooted, keeping beat: Nature's symphoney.
Swirl opened her eyes and turned to smiled warmly at Cornelius. Wow, I could be talking to my own best friend or mate and not even know it, she thought all the while. It would be almost like meeting them for the first time.... it's nice, actually.

Shaking his head still he got up. This was suppose to be a fun event, and he was told by his guardian to have fun, so that is what he was going to do.
Looking back at Yume He said, "Well would you like to go out and have fun with everyone else? There is no point sitting by the waters edge cowering"

Yume looked at Dory, a little surprised that he asked. She got up and followed him, "I guess that depends on what we're doing," she said, remembering her friend.

"We are going to go see who, or what else is here." He said looking back at Yume. "I know that a few pykiin are hiding in the Dryad's branches talking, but I think I saw some new arrivals, let's go show off our costumes." He looked again at his fish costume, and winced.

"Guardians, Can't live with them, Can't live without them." Dory laughed, seeing that Yume had issues with what she had to wear as well.

Yume got up and sighed, "I can live with my gaurdian, as long as she doesn't stick me in a dress and send me off to dance, of all things."

"I would have to say that is a little too late to worry about." Dory was laughing now. Yume was rather scared of everything it seemed, but she made Dory laugh.

"I know," she said to Dory, a little annoyed. She pawed at her dress, trying to smooth it out a bit, and hopefully get it ontop of her paws, instead of underneath them.

I looked around. The place filling up with many people. my orbs searched the area. I saw many Kiin's and Pykiins coming. Females and males. my harks bent back. My tail wrapped around my body as I watched a mask was place among my face so know one to seek her. My tail whipped up as my body rised and I walked over to the one with the alias name Dory. I just sat there waiting to see if anyone will speak to me. I looked at the punch bowl. I grabbed a cup and drank some. My tails till whipping around. My fur brushed up agaisnt the wall. I looked at the music and dnacing. This was my first Masquerade Ball I have ever been to and wanted to make a spalsh. I walked over and looked upon the Kiins and Pykiins.

Isabelle decided that her Kira wasn't the pykiin she should hang out with. Isabelle thought that Kira just couldn't keep up with her outgoing going and asventurios personality. Isabelle scanned the Ball and spotted a pykiin. She flew down to meet Angel. "Hi! Isn't this a lovely night?"
