She heard the unkind growl and remembered her mother's words about him being unstable. She believed it......now. "Well now I don't want you to get upset and throw the sweet little Toi, so I am nto too sure I shoudl tell you that." She spoke very plainly as she really didn't want anythign to go horribly wrong. She was very sure this was her brother though.

Edan gave another growl but forced himself to calm. "I can control myself," he answered, though he wasn't completely sure of that himself.

Still unsure on hwo this would go, and unsure on the safety of Little Toi, Nuri had to fight with herself. "Well if you feel that you can control yourself I shall tell you." She took a deep breathe in and a small step back, "My mother's name is......"Trailing off she thought this is my last chance to run away and not tell him. I have to though, if this is my brother then I want to get to know him at least once, and want him to have met me, knowing who I am. She faught it out and ins whisper she mananged to squeak out the name, "Pele"

"Pele," Edan repeated in a strange tone. He stood absolutely still, not even his tail tip twitched. "That would mean Flamepaw is your father." The growl was evident as he spoke their father's name. "Since he claims to be my father also, that would make you my sister."

She nodded at his comments "Yes Flamepaw is my dad, and yes you are my brother" She had known there was something in him she recognized, although she did not know him, the blood that ran through his veins was the same as hers and they had a forever connection.

Edan wasn't sure how he felt about meeting his sister. She was obviously a nice enough kiin, but she was something to tie him to the family, and to Flamepaw. Edan wanted nothing to do with they pykiin who claimed to be his father. Still, a simple friendship couldn't hurt, could it? She wouldn't force him to accept his parents in place of the only guardian he'd ever loved. She couldn't! No one could, he decided firmly. No one could change his mind. "Interesting," was all he said.

Toi's ears perked up. "Oh! It's your sister! Oh, I can see, you have the same little black thing as she does! Hers is on her face though." Toi leaned over to see the black marking on Edan's shoulder better.
"We're looking for my sister too!" she told Nuri. "Her name is Bergy. She's big big big and she has wings and she's teal and I don't know where she is!" She ducked back behind Edan's head, feeling surprised at her own boldness. Then she poked back up between Edan's ears and added, "Edan's helping me find her."

She had waited for an explosion, but Edan had taken it rather calmly, which had her slightly confused. However the sudden reappearance of Toi made her giggle a bit, this little flitter could lighten any moment in Nuri's mind.
"Well I could help you find her too, if you dont mind, or at least come along as extra company." She was not really wanting to leave without getting to know Edan just a little more.
((have to run out for a quick moment shoudl be no more than about 30 minutes))

"I'd like that!" Toi said decidedly, but made sure to phrase it like that, so Edan didn't feel like she was answering for him too. He seemed really upset about his other dad, but not about his sister, so maybe he wouldn't be mad to have her come too?

"Fine," Edan said. "The more the merrier." That last was clearly sarcastic, but Edan wasn't opposed to his sister joining them. Maybe it would help get rid of Toi faster. Then he could easily make his excuses and go back to his quiet walk. He had plenty to think about, now that he wasn't about to boil over.

Nuri rolled her eyes a little. SHe wasn't sure aobut him. Her whole family was fire orientated and it was a sour point for her. She found nothign wrong with fire, but it just wasnt' her. She enjoyed the lighter side of things. Well Teal huh, and big, that' snot alot to go on but I am sure we can find ehr." Nuri said, as she peered aroudn the back of Edan's head.

Toi was gaining confidence with the helpful Pykiin she had met so far, even though being out on her own was a very big thing. "We're going to the top of those cliffs," she offered, pointing to the direction they were originally heading in before they had seen Nuri. "We might see for far far and be able to see Bergy. Do you wanna come up there?"

She looked up at the cliff, she hated going up to those places because it is where her mom always took her ot talk about fire, but she would of course go with these two. What were the cahnces of Fire beign the main topic of conversation? "Yeah I'll come with you" She said before she realized it.

Toi fluttered her tiny wings and lifted off Edan's shoulders into the air. "Ee!" she said happily. "Thank you!"
