"Not really," he answered, a little confused by her ardent questioning. "Like I said, it's not much different."

"Mkay," She swayed a little. "Remember when you we were both new? I like how the valley is developed. What about you?"

"Yes, it is nice. I suppose a lot has happened." Dei gave an expression that conveyed the impression of a shrug, though his shoulders didn't move. "I guess I don't really notice change and the passage of time that much."

"Oh," Chaya nodded and swiftly, but wobbly, got up. She grinned at him and ran into the forest. Dodging the trees, yet still balancing well on the long legs. "Catch me if you can,"

Dardei tried to leap to his feet, and nearly fell. Catching his balance, he took off after Chaya, his long legs strong and fast. His balance was a little shaky on the delicate limbs, but he kept up fairly well. "Right behind you, all the way."

((Tick on PI >.<))
Chaya giggled as she flew past a few more trees and pouncing into a bush, getting red berry juice on her fur. She giggled, but let her tongue out in disgust as the berry juice get her fur sticky.

Dardei blundered through the berry bush, staining bright red streaks on his pristing white coat. He shook his horns in annoyance, but continued running.

Chaya giggled, knowing he would hate having that red berry on him. She closed her eyes and splashed into the upcoming lake, she giggled. "I think I grew out of my fear of water." She giggled, spalshing the water on herself.

Slowing his steps, Dardei regarded the water with distaste. Still, being wet would be better than being dirty, and at least it wasn't salty water. He waded in to his knees, then lay in the water to better remove the berry juice. "Congratulations. It's good to face our fears."

She nodded and looked down at the water. The dust under her feet spreading around. She giggled and drew out of the water, rubbing the berry spots clean and spinning in circles to dry.

Once all the berry juice was out of his fur, Dardei waded out of the water. Moving carefully away from Chaya, he shook vigorously to get as much water out of his fur as he could. He moved closer to air dry the rest. "It's rather nice out today. Recently it's been colder around this time."

"Yes, it is." She agreed. Shaking her body again to dry a little more. "So, what would you like to tend too?"

"I don't have anything I need to do," Dardei answered. "Any ideas?" He stretched his legs, marvelling anew at their new length.

"Hmm..." Chaya hummed as she stopped spinning and stumbled a bit. "Have you found a den yet?"

Dei moved automatically to steady her. "No, I've just been sleeping in whatever tree was convenient. The nights are getting warmer, anyway. What about you?"
