Dardei looked around in growing interest as his eyes adjusted to the dim light. "There seems to be some kind of plant growing back here. A moss, perhaps." He touched it with a careful paw. "It's quite soft. Perhaps it would do as a bed?"

"I'm glad you like it." He lay down on the soft moss. "We can explore the area more in the morning." He stifled a yawn as he glanced out at the waning light.

Dardei wrapped his tail lightly around her, purely for warmth of course. He lay his head on his paws and drifted off.

Chaya snapped her head up at a sound in the nearby trees. She blinked a few times, the haze of tired was still there. Rubbing her eyes, she got up slowly and checked who it was. All of a sudden a green kiin pounce on her, her legs buckled and she fell. The green kiin giggling.
"Hiya! I am Verde."

Dardei woke suddenly and lunged to his feet, shaking his head to clear the sleep from it. "What's going on?" he asked confusedly, looking around. His eyes settled on a small green kiin. "Who's this?"

Chaya got up and shook her head. "He said his name was Verde." She said shaking her head again to regain balance. The kiin pranced around.
"'Ello, I am Verde." He bowed to the arriving Elven. "You guys are really big," He commented. "It's really nice to meet Elven." He bowed again.
"I am Chaya," She smiled and looked at Dardei, wanting to know if he wanted to introduce himself or not.

Dei shook his head again. "Hello Verde, I'm Dardei." He blinked down at the kiin, still not entirely awake.

Chaya looked down at the kiin. "Hun, why are you up so late?" The green kiin looked down and then looked back up.
"I am scared of the dark, it's hard to sleep."
"Aw, poor thing."
"No, no. I am fine, just wandering around til it's morning. It seems to be daylight in a few. I shouldn't have bothered you two." He apologized.

"Not a problem, Verde," Dardei answered, sitting down so he wasn't towering over the kiin so much. "I suppose we would have been up shortly anyway."

Verde nodded. "Thank you," He bounced over to the den. "Is this yours?" He asked.
"Yes," Chaya answered, sitting down as well. Her legs still uneasy from the pounce she had received.

"We found it yesterday," Dardei added. "What do you think?" He looked over at Chaya, and asked, "Are you alright?"

"Yes, I am." She smiled apologetic and looked at the green kiin.
"So, do you have any family?"
"No, just my pounce."
"Ah, and who is part of your pounce?"
"Well, there is you, Aoife. Fera, and Doveva I know of by now. Oh, and Aiyana."
"Your part of the same pounce I am, awesome.
Verde smiled.
"How are you?" Chaya asked Dardei.

"I'm fine. I was just a bit startled." Dardei smiled. "Now that I'm awake, no harm done. So you're in the same pounce. Is that a big deal?"
