Yume stole a little vine of raspberries and smiled at Valemor after eating a couple. "Um... well, whatever you'd like to, I suppose. Any ideas?"

"The lake?" Yume asked, wondering. "I didn't know there was a lake in the Valley. I only knew of the pond and, river and ocean. May we go?" She requested, excitement apparent in her eyes.

"Yes!" Yume squeaked in delight. "Please," she added, blushing slightly. "Kiriya," she started.
"Actually, if you two don't mind, I'd like to stay here. Should Ichigo get back anytime soon, I don't want her to think we've left." Kiriya spoke. "Plus, it's rather chilly outside." He smiled with a wink.
Yume looked at Valemor, "Is that okay? If Kiriya doesn't come?"

Sorka woke to the warm darkness of home, and she breathed a sigh of contentment. She lay still for a moment, enjoying the stillness, before she got up to start back for Akiyama's.
Sonea slept deeply, her breath whistling out of her nose. Kalea nested in her feathery wings, awake but unwilling to move.

"Unless you truly wanted me to go, I would prefer to stay home, just in case Ichigo or someone else comes by." Kiriya responded, smiling. "Thank you, though. If you'd take care of Mom, then I'm quite fine." He nodded, sitting down.

"Sorka," Akiyama called out again, concern present in his voice once more. "Where are you?" He asked with a full voice into the forest.

Sorka appeared some distance away, at the edge of the trees. "Right here! Didn't Kalea tell you I'd be back in the morning?" She picked up her pace, trotting over.

"Sorka!" Akiyama called in relief, running toward her. "Yes, Kalea told us. You didn't honestly think that we'd listen, did you?" He smiled as though that had been the obvious.

"Well, it was true," Sorka replied, slightly cross. "Kalea would no more lie to you than I would." She slowed her steps as Akiyama reached her. "Not that I expected you to stop worrying, of course, but you could at least be discreet about it." A crooked smile made the last words amused rather than annoyed.

Staying silent for a few moments, Akiyama then smiled, "I know. Apparently it was true, since you're here now." He tilted his head, "I suppose you're right. But still, I don't intend on losing one of my friends anytime soon, and it was cold last night." He waited a few seconds, then added, "I do trust you, though. It just worried me, because you didn't seem so well by the river yesterday."

Kiriya smiled, glad to see his mom out with a friend. "Have fun."
"Thank you, Kiriya!" Yume smiled excitedly at her son. She began running off after Valemor. "I'm coming, I'm coming!"
