((Hmm... may I assume that they have? ^_^; ) "I guess so," Ichigo nodded, still not exactly happy, but glad to be back with Akiyama. "Thanks." Akiyama coughed once, then addressed Ichigo. "Ichigo, Sorka, Addei and I were looking for dens for the winter. Do you have any place you'd really like to stay?" Ichigo's eyes lit up at the sound of winter. "Somewhere icy and snowy, but warm inside!" "How about maybe somewhere it might snow and get cold outside, but it's warm inside. Okay? I can't promise snow," Akiyama laughed nervously.

((Fine by me.))
Sorka smiled gently. "I understand, sweetling. If you ever wish to speak with my daughter, you are always welcome. Her father and I split up, so she may understand better than most." After making the offer, she changed the subject to take Ichigo's mind off it. "Let's find you a warm, icy home, then." Turning to Akiyama, she suggested, "I know there are places in the mountains where it is icy all year round, but I don't know if that's what she had in mind."

"Icy all year round?" Ichigo gasped, her mind immediately taken from the subject of her parents. "Please may we go?" She asked, turning to her father, wanting to see snow and ice.
Akiyama looked to Sorka, "Well, I think Ichigo really loves you, Sorka," he smiled. "Yes, yes, Ichigo, we can." He looked at Sorka again, "Would you mind showing us?"

Sorka's smile broadened. "I don't actually know how to get there, I've only seen it from the sky. Let me send Kalea to one who might know, and we can walk upriver, toward the mountains." She lowered her head to look at Ichigo. "Does that suit you?"

"Okay!" Ichigo squeaked, excited and happy once more.
"Just curious, can't we just walk in the direction of the mountains?" Akiyama asked, unsure of why Kalea would have to scout for them.

"We could, but I wouldn't wish to risk getting lost," Sorka explained. "I don't know my way around the mountains, even from the air."
Kalea responded to Sorka's thought without waiting for instructions, winging off to Seri to find out who had told the tales of icy mountaintops.

"Oh, yes, that makes sense," Akiyama nodded in agreeance. He smiled at Ichigo, who was bouncing up and down impatiently. "Settle down, settle down." He laughed a little bit, finding it humorous of how Ichigo was wiggling with excitement.

"Patience, little one. We will arrive when we arrive, and impatience will not make us arrive sooner." Sorka put a paw on Ichigo's shoulder, smiling indulgently. "You are so like my own Sonea."
Kalea's mind-voice broadcast to all four pykiin. Follow the river upstream, and when it branches, take the right bank. It will lead to an uninhabited valley, and the easist way there is by the river. I'll meet you there.

"Sonea?" Ichigo asked, calming down a bit and filling with curiousity. "Um... thank you?"
Akiyama raised a side of his mask, wondering why he was able to hear Kalea's voice. "Well, I suppose we have a route to follow," he smiled, speaking to Sorka.

"Sonea is my daughter. Bright she is called, and so she is." Sorka said to Ichigo. "You and she must meet soon. I am sure you will be good friends." Looking up at Akiyama, she added, "So we do. Onward, then, to see what the river has to show us, yes?" She smiled at Akiyama, then turned the smile to his daughter. "It is a great adventure, is it not? Boldy going where no pykiin has gone before." She struck a mock-heroic pose, eyes sparkling with laughter.

Ichigo nodded and smiled at the idea of meeting another kiin. "Okleydokley," she answered childishly. "No other Pykiin has gone there before?" She asked, tilting her head hesitantly. "But then it might be dangerous...." She jumped up on top of Akiyama's back, wondering what awaited them.
Chuckling, Akiyama began walking upstream of the river. "I wonder how far off before it forks?"

"I've heard that mountains always look closer than they are. It might be a long trip," Sorka answered, keeping pace with Akiyama. Looking at his passenger, she commented, "I am certain Seri's friend would not have sent us into danger."

"Such large, beautiful land formations," Akiyama replied, a little off-topic.
Ichigo looked back to Sorka, "I hope so. Who is Seri's friend?" She asked nosily, spreading her paws across Akiyama's back.

"I don't know," Sorka answered honestly. "I'm not even sure if she's a part of our pounce or not. I've never met her, or even seen her. I think she lives in the mountains, but other than that," she shrugged. "It is a beautiful land, isn't it. Perhaps a home in the mountains would be nice. The views must be amazing."

"Perhaps you will choose a home in the mountains, as well, Sorka." Akiyama smiled at the prospect of having a neighbor.
Ichigo wiggled her nose, surprised that they were relying on someone that Sorka didn't even know.
A fwroosh of air swept threw, and Ichigo crawled up to Akiyama's mane, burying herself as far as she could go.
