"Absolutely!" He answered immediately snapping his head to Addei. He stayed silent for a moment, then laughed at himself and smiled. The way he'd said, it, to him, sounded defensive. "There's not many things that are better."

"I can only think of a few, but many of them are truely dependant on the individual to decide wether they are truely better." She smiled, "I can only imagine how others feel to be able to alter her work."

"I, too, can only think of a few. But..." he trailed off, wondering if there might be an exception. He continued, "I think that one thing that nearly everyone might think is greater than Mother Nature is love." He frowned, "Or... is love Mother Nature, still?" He asked partially to himself.

"No, I think Mother Nature can cause love, as many other things can. I just think it mainly comes from that Pykiin's heart, and how they truely feel about that other." She smiled and thought of how many Pykiin she loved, and was glad that they were apart of her life.

Nodding slowly, Akiyama answered, "Though it often takes quite a while to realize true feelings." He wondered how long it would be if he ever found someone to truly love.

"But much of the love you already have is for others. Love isn't just limited to soulmate you know?" She stated giving a small, silent giggle. Flicking her tail, "Like you have a large love for Ichigo, else wise you wouldn't care as much as you do about her." She smiled sweetly in a reminding sort of way.

"That is, of course, right," Akiyama laughed. He'd been thinking about soulmate love, but he knew that he loved many Pykiin the way he loved Ichigo and Kiriya and his friends. "I wonder when they're coming back?" He wondered aloud.

"I suppose soon. From how Hoono sounded, it didn't seem that Ichigo was too far." Addei stated with a smile, "I wonder if she's gone to see Kiriya yet."

Sorka padded quietly along beside Akiyama and Addei, listening. "Ah, the wonders and pains of love," she murmered softly, almost too soft to hear. She wondered if she would ever find a soulmate, or if she had lost her only chance. "I'm sure they'll ba back soon, then you can ask. I'm sure she's feeling better now," she said to Akiyama reassuringly. "She wouldn't be looking for you unless she was ready to talk."

"She probably has," Akiyama answered Addei, smiling. "They're best friends. I'm just hoping that Kiriya took it alright." He nodded to Sorka. "Thanks. I hope that that's right." He knew that Sorka was right, as Addei was, but his mind was going against what his heart knew.

Sorka continued in silence, knowing that Akiyama would have to come to that conclusion himself, and nothing she could say would make his mind agree. Her gaze followed the river as she walked, thoughts flowing unexamined through her mind as the water flowed in its smooth bed. At this part of the river, there was nary a stone or a ripple to mar the smooth flow.

Ichigo walked slowly to the place where Akiyama and his friends were; Honoo sat on her head during the silent journey. She reached where her father was, and she looked at him, hiding behind a bush.
Cautiosly she approached him. She stopped a few feet away, not knowing what to say.
Akiyama smiled to Sorka, unaware that his daughter was behind him. "Are you okay?" He asked the blue female.
"Hey, Daddy," Ichigo mumbled, wanting him to know she was there, but still unsure of what to say.
"Ichigo?" Akiyama asked, turning around and quickly snatching up the pink kiin. "I'm sorry," he said, hugging her.
Honoo jumped off of Ichigo and landed on the ground, then walked between Sorka and Addei. She chuckled and smiled. "Well, that took long enough. He's sort of oblivious," she commented to herself.

"Yes," Sorka looked up and smiled at Akiyama. As he turned his attention to his daughter, she looked at Honoo. "Under the circumstances, one can hardly blame him." She looked back at the river, seating herself on the bank. "It's so beautiful here," she murmered. "So still." So many things in her life had tumbled about like water in the rapids, she longed for some of this stillness in her own life. Staring at the water, she tried to take it in and make it a part of herself.

((Do you happen to remember if Ichigo had been introduced to Sorka and Addei?))
Ichigo took her head gently away from her father's mane, which she'd been snuggling her head into and looked at Sorka. She blushed, feeling guilty about how she'd ran off the last time she'd seen her. "Hello," she murmured nervously.
Akiyama let go of Ichigo and smiled, feeling like everything was better now.

((I think so, at least Sorka spoke to her briefly after Akiyama told her. They may not have actually exchanged names.))
"Hello, little one. Feeling a bit better now?" Sorka asked softly, turning her eyes to Ichigo.
