"Perhaps," Sorka agreed amiably. She had little idea of where she would like to live, only that it not be too readily accessible and warm. A little of the stillness she had admired back at the river would be nice too. "And here we are," she said, coming up to te place where the river split. "Right, did she say?" At that moment, a gust of cold air wrapped around them, swirling Sorka's mane about her face. When it subsided, she remarked, "A bit cool, isn't it."

"Yes, right," Akiyama answered. He shivered a bit in the breeze, glad that Ichigo was warm and safe from the chill in his mane. "Did Brandy and Sonea stay behind in Addei's den?" He asked, wondering where the other two kiin were.

Sorka thought for a moment, then replied, "Yes, I believe so. That's where Kalea left them, at any rate." She tucked her feathered wings tightly to her sides to help keep her warm, and started up the right bank.

"I'm glad that they are there, since I'm not sure how much they would like the cold," said Akiyama. He walked with Sorka up the right bank, wondering when they would reach the uninhabited valley.

"I'm sure Sonea wouldn't mind, she likes flying quite high." Sorka commented. "Hm, did you know that the air higher up is colder than the air at the surface?" The land was starting to climb fairly steeply, in comparison to the gentle rise up until now.

Akiyama chuckled, "She must like the cold, then. I hadn't known that," he replied, sort of glad to know now.
Up a long ways ahead, trees were starting to part and thin snow was visable on the ground.

"Indeed, she does." Sorka glanced at the river beside them, and was surprised to note bits of ice clinging to the banks as the water tumbled over the stones that littered the riverbed. "So Ichigo, how do you like the snow?" she asked, indicating the thin layer on the ground with a gesture.

"Snow?" Ichigo breated, snatching her head out from Akiyama's warm mane. She gasped in delight at the sign of the ice and snow. She jumped down from Akiyama's back and slipped when she fell to the ground, but quickly picked herself up and ran to the first snowbank she saw. "Oh my gosh, snow!" She cried, grinning as she paraded over the white stuff.

Sorka laughed, a low soft sound, as Ichigo launched herself into the snow. She surreptitiously scraped her paw along the ground, making a small pile of snow and packing it together. Winking at Akiyama, she picked it up and tossed it lightly at Ichigo, quickly turning away and looking at the river innocently.

"Hey!" Ichigo squeaked, whipping around to figure out who her attacker was. "Daddy!" She shouted, laughing. She began packing snow together and then she chucked the ball at him.
Akiyama turned his head away, letting the ball hit his neck instead of his face. "Hey, now," he said, authority in his voice. He dropped the tone and began throwing small balls gently at Ichigo. He packed together another ball, then threw it innocently at Sorka, smiling teasingly.

Sorka whipped around as the snowball hit her back. "Oh, I'll get you," she mock-threatened, making another snowball and advancing menacingly.

Akiyama laughed; he liked Sorka's playful side. He packed another snowball loosely and threw it to Sorka. "I'd like to see you try," he taunted.
Ichigo packed two tight snowballs and grinned at the adults. She snuck around to the other side of them and threw one at Sorka, and one at Akiyama. "Haha!" She giggled, running behind a tree to get another army of snowballs ready for battle.

(( No, I'm good ^^ ))
Addei padded softly behind the three of them. She wasn't fond of snow, but then she wasn't really fond of anything cold. She shivered slightly as each step grew deeper and deeper in the piles of snow. Adelina smiled and watched them play, but didn't join in. Instead she watched them enjoy themselves.
Only after growing bored of watching did she flind a heaping pile at all three of them, she quickly turned her head and acted like she had done no such thing.
