Tuwawi sniffed the air again. "Hmm.. It does. Maybe it's a salt water lake."

Vixen smiled. "Yeah, I know what you mean."

Ember shrugged again. "I wouldn't try it, unless you want to become a syora cream pie," he said, smirking slightly.

Riana tilted her head at Rensai. Something seemed familiar about the phrase, but it didn't quite make sense.
"So... what your saying.. is that we take one path, but there are more to choose from along the way? Or am I getting the wrong message?" she asked, smirking a bit.

Saturn smiled, putting on her best curtsy. "Nice to meet you."
Pluto gave Endy a nod and smirked. "Same to you."
Saturn strolled over to Marai with her chest puffed out and her head held high. "Eh, I could take you with my paws tied up." she opened an eye and grinned. "But some help might be nice."

At the next quesion, the two kiin replied "Yes." at the same time. They glanced at eachother and giggled, then turned back to Endy and Marai. "We'll have to get our supplies stocked up again." remarked Saturn, running over to the forest.
"Yeah. Marai, we'll show you where the seeds are." added Pluto, smiling.

[Raenia]

"It means that there are many paths that lead to a happy ending, and no one of them is better than the others." Rensai cast about for an example. "Like, I bonded to Honea, and we are very well suited to each other, but that doesn't mean that another bonded would not have suited me had she chosen another."

"If you could beat us tied up, how did we win?" Marai asked with a grin. Turning to Pluto so she didn't feel she had to think of an answer, she said, "Yeah, it'd be nice to have some of those. And we need to get Endy a sword and cape too."

"A salt water lake? What does that mean?" Masashi asked, taking a few hesitant steps toward the water.

Kovu smiled, "I know. Ember's sure full of energy today, too. Or is he always this way and I just didn't realize?"

"Hey, watch it," Ray muttured, side-glaring at the remiel. "This won't take long. Just let me think...."

[Charmwing]

Saturn blinked. "Er... yeah. Maybe I exagerated a bit." she said, giving them a chessy grin.

Pluto nodded and dug into the underbrush, pulling out a cape and a stick. He nosed back in, pulling out some seed seeds.
"Hey, Marai!" he called.

"I guess that makes sense...." said Riana. It made her feel a little better to know that she couldn't nessecerily make the wrong choice. But there was still something nagging at her.
"... Rensai, could I ask you something?"

[Raenia]

"Thanks!" Marai trotted over to Pluto and collected some of the seeds he showed her. "So, how does the magic stuff work? Do we just think of a spell and call it out?"

"Of course you may." Rensai reassured Riana immediately. "I count you as a friend, despite our long absence. What else are friends for?"

[Charmwing]

"Yep, basically, thats it. Oh, and just incase you want to find them yourself-" He pulled the undergrowth apart, just enough to see in. "-you look for plants like this." he said, pointing to a plant with several long stalks. At each tip was a dried flower head, all missing the petals.
"Then you rub the centers, and they crumble. Mom said it's good that we use them, because it helps to plant new ones. I think its called feverfew... or something like that. She thought she saw Hope using it once." he explained, turning back to Marai with a smile.

Riana couldn't surpress a small, grateful smile. Somethings never change. she thought.
"Well, I just wanted to know... what do you think you would do in a situation like this?" she asked.

[Raenia]

Marai studied the plant closely so she could find it again. "Cool. It's nice to be able to help the plant while we play." She collected some more of the seeds. "Who is your mom?" she asked curiously.

"What situation?" Rensai asked, wanting to be sure she gave the right advice. "You mean finding a new pounce?"

[Charmwing]

Pluto turned around to the spot wwwhere he'd left his mother. Not seeing her there, he turned back to Marai a shrug.
"I'm not sure where she went, but she has to be here somewhere. Her name is Springtime." he told her, examining the small tears in the end of his cape. He dropped the end and looked up at Marai again. "Who're your parents? I mean, yours and Endy's." he asked.

Riana nodded. "Yes... to tell the truth, I'm not quite sure what to do." she murmured thoughtfully.

[Raenia]

Marai gestured over toward Vixen, Sugar, Addei, and the others. "Seri's our mom, and Misrule's our dad. Mom's over there, talking to Sugar."

"Hm," Rensai made a small noise, thinking hard. "I don't really know what I would do. It's not something that has come up. All I can say is, there's no wrong choice. I'm sure you'll be happy wherever you go."

[FlyingHigh]

"Well, you know how the ocean tastes all icky?" Tuwawi asked, eyeing the lake cautiously while slightly tilting his head to the side. "That's because the water has lotsa salt in it. I was just thinking this lake might be like the ocean 'cuz it smells all salty." Tuwawi nodded his head in conclusion before adding, "But I didn't know there were lakes like that..."

Vixen shrugged slightly, putting on a smile. "Most of the time he's very calm, but other times he can be a bit this way. He has his days."

Ember calmly sat in front of Ray and just stared at the syora, watching him closly as if he was going to do something amazing, and if you blinked you would miss it.

Masashi took a moment to take all this new information in. "Well..." she thought, trying to figure this out, like she was putting together a puzzle. "Maybe the water comes downhill from the ocean or something? Just a guess," she smiled.

"Ah," Kovu nodded. "A little like Ray, but..." he eyed the syora. "He's always into trouble."

Ray gasped, "I got it!" He grinned to Ember, like he had some great secret that he had to hold out for suspension. He took a deep breath, then let it out in a huff, glaring at the ground. "I lost it. I lost the idea," he muttured, annoyed.

[FlyingHigh]

"Ah! That must be it," Tuwawi replied, grinning at how smart Masashi was. He supposed there must be a hill leading down from the ocean at some point. "Great detective work, 'Sashi!"

Vixen chuckled, nodding her head. She then glanced around, suddenly realising that Tuwawi nor Masashi had come back yet. Vixen wasn't quite sure of how much they wandered off alone, so she didn't know whether to worry or not. She felt a responibilitiy for Tuwawi now. "Hm," she murmured thoughtfully, turning to face Yooso. "Do they wander off alot?" she asked casually, referring to the 'kiin.

Ember sighed and rolled his eyes, becoming slightly bored of the topic. He laid himself down and placed his head on his paws. "You can keep on thinking, I'm going to take a nap," he yawned. "Maybe I'll dream up something," he added slyly.

Masashi giggled and smiled proudly. She took a dramatic, happy bow. "Thank you, thank you," she laughed. She looked to the pond, "I wonder where it leads out to..." she began walking toward it, wondering if maybe they'd find the ocean.

Yooso smiled at Vixen and sighed. "I hardly see them at all, except for Masashi at night - sometimes. They're really together a lot. I'm glad Masashi has a friend," she said honestly, but she did miss her daughter.

Ray muttured unintellagable words to himself before sitting down to think. "Yeah, sleep well," he mumbled. After a few moments of thinking alone, he lost intrest and turned his neck, nustling his head between his wings.

Tuwawi grinned brightly, but it slowly faded away as he stared down at the pond, hesitantly watching Masashi begin to walk toward it. He slightly shook his head and began following her.

Vixen smiled and nodded her head understandingly, wondering where her own kiin had wandered off to. "So then I guess I shouldn't worry," she said, although mostly to herself. "They do seem to be very good friends," she added thoughtfully, glancing in the direction the kiin had run off in earlier.

Ember cracked open an eye to look at Ray, smirking slightly before closing it back.
