Masashi grinned as Tuwawi began chasing her. She ran toward a tree and stopped, flicking her tail up and down as she caught her breath. "Can you catch me? I bet you can't," she taunted teasingly.
Kovu smiled apologetically at Vixen, "Sorry, what were you saying?" He asked, his voice returned to it's normal tone.
Ray shot a piercing glare at Ember, then thwacked him over the head with his wing. "You just wait. I'll bet you're next," he threatened, annoyed.

"Ha! Well, I'll just have to prove you wrong, won't I?" Tuwawi said, grinning as he dashed off after her, heading right for the tree she stood in front of.
"That's alright. I know how they can be a handfull," Vixen replied with a smile, motioning toward the two bonded. "...They're clearly up to no good," she added, shrugging slightly as she returned the subject to the previous one. "Anyway, I was just saying that it doesn't matter much to me what sort of den we get. Just whatever we can find - at least for right now. What were you thinking?" She paused and smiled up at him.
Ember simply stuck his tounge out at the syora.

((Alright.  ) Masashi squeaked a small bit, then swirled around and took off toward the pond, laughing all the way. Kovu nodded slowly, seriously. "I know." He smiled again, trying to focus on Vixen, not the annoying two in the background. "I think that's fine. As long as it's warm for the winter, then I think any den will do." Ray watched at Tuwawi chased after Masashi. He grinned and called out, "Masashi and Tuwawi, sitting in a tr-" Kovu growled, suddenly appearing behind the bird. "I've had it. Stop. Now." |

Vixen smiled and nodded, showing that she agreed with him. Her ears turned toward Ray's sudden shouting, and she watched as Kovu stomped off toward him. She sighed, standing up to follow him. When she arrived next to Kovu, Vixen stood behind Ember, an angry look upon her face. "We've already had experience living with those two lovebirds," The remiel chuckled, completely oblivious to the pykiin standing behind them as he pointed back to where Kovu and Vixen had been standing a few minutes before, without turning to look. "so this should be easy." He opened his mouth to join in with Ray, but instead stared down at the ground with a puzzled look on his face as a large shadow moved over them. Suddenly he twirled around to see Vixen and Kovu standing there growling at them. He gulped heavily and shouted, "Every man for himself!" before dashing away from them quickly. Vixen expertly reached out and grabbed his tail in her mouth. "Eep!" the remiel squeaked pitifully. Tuwawi was already out of hearing range, so the little flitterkiin didn't turn to look back. He continued to follow Masashi, giggling wildly as he tried to catch her. (I'm curious.. Is the thing on a remiel's back spikes or wings? : |

Ray's eyes widened as he saw the shadows. He turned around and gulped, then flew to Ember, scrambling over his head. When Ember was caught, he began flying off to a tree. "Help!" He squaked.
Kovu grumbed to himself, taking a few steps forward and then jumping up into the air, taking the Syora into his mouth again, feathers flying everywhere. "You taste discusting," he growled.
Ray gave up fighting and waited for Kovu to let him out on his own time.
Kovu brought the bird back to Vixen and Ember. He spat Ray out of his mouth and stepped firmly on his tail. "You had better stop now or someone is going to be fish food," he glared.
Yooso watched as Kovu threatened his bonded. She took a few steps back, hoping that this would end soon.
Masashi heared a few little squeaks, but thought nothing of it. She tripped on a rock, tumbling forward into a summer-salt, then running again, laughing at her accidental stunt.

Tuwawi grinned, thinking that was amazing. "Awesome, 'Sashi!" he called out with a laugh, catching up to her slightly.
Ember struggled as he hung from her mouth, and Vixen lowered him slowly to the ground. "Same goes for you, Ember," she spoke in a strict voice, glaring at him for a moment. "You may not in any way bother the members of our new pounces," she added firmly. "Especially Tuwawi and Masashi. Is that clear?"
Ember nodded his head slowly, staring down at the ground. "Okay, I won't. I'm sorry..."
Vixen nodded as well and patted his head, looking over to where Yooso stood, noticing she seemed a little uneasy. "Oh, I'm sorry if we startled you," she said to her, her smiled returning.

((Okay, well, I thought they were wings. Oops. ^_^;  ) Masashi smiled, turning around to run backwards, which made her a bit slower. "Thank you, thank you," she said, bowing her head a bit as she turned around again to run faster. Kovu kept his paw on Ray, with no intention of letting him go quickly. He looked to Vixen, then Yooso. He smiled apologetically. "Sorry. Are you okay?" He asked, his voice becoming gentle again. Yooso nodded and walked over to Ray and Ember, bending down. "Please don't be mean to Masashi and Tuwawi," she asked in her soft, causious voice. Ray backed away a little bit, a little nervous. "Um... okay," he agreed finally, not really wanting to. Maybe he could find a loophole. |

Tuwawi giggled and caught up to Masashi a little bit more as she ran backwards. "I'm gonna get you!" he called, reaching out a paw in hope that he was close enough to tag her back. He sniffed the air while running, smelling the faint smell of water, and wondered where they were going.
Ember glanced at Ray for a moment, then looked up at Yooso. "Okay," he answered quietly, a little nervous with all of the pykiin gathered around him. "He started it," he added in a wisper, pointing a paw toward Ray. "I don't care who started it, Ember," Vixen told him, rolling her eyes slightly.

Masashi called, "Just wait!" As she ran forward. A faint rushing of waves reached her ear, and she slowed a bit. "Water...?" She asked, a little curious, a little fearful.
"Thank you," Yooso smiled, picking herself up and standing behind Kovu.
Ray glared at Ember, "Did not!" He lied, a little bit jokingly.
Kovu closed his eyes, beginning to get a headache. "I don't care who started it, either. But it ends now." He let Ray go.
Ray grinned and began to fly in the direction that Tuwawi and Masashi had gone, but then stopped and turned around, dragging himself back, remembering the promise he'd made to Yooso. He glared up at Kovu and Yooso, blaming the two of them for his misery.

(I'm so sorry about that. We're babysitting. : Tuwawi slowed his pace to a stop as the lake eventually came into view. "The lake," he stated, trying to avoid getting close to it. He quickly glanced back in the way they had come, then looked ahead at Masashi. He paused for a moment, but slowly continued to follow his friend. Vixen nuzzled Kovu, trying to calm him down slightly so the headache wouldn't get worse. Ember meanwhile glanced over at Ray and shrugged. |

Masashi slowed, eventually turning around to walk toward Tuwawi. "What about a lake?" She asked, completely missing the water formation.
"So unfair," Ray muttured, walking over to Ember.
Kovu smiled to Vixen, nuzzling her back. "Are you okay?"

"Right there," he told Masashi when she arrived next to him, pointing in the direction of the lake. It was about 15-20 feet away from them. "That's probably what I smelled," he thought aloud.
Vixen smiled and nodded. "I'm okay," she answered. "Are you? It just looked like you were getting a headache again." She glanced over at Ember, who smiled at her inoccently.
The remiel then turned to face Ray. "Yeah.." he sighed, shrugging afterwards. "Oh well."

"It smells kinda salty," Masashi commented, looking at the pond.
Kovu smiled, shrugging a bit. "Ray really drives me nuts sometimes."
The little brown syora looked at Ember. "Just wait... I'll find a loophole," he murmured, hoping Kovu hadn't heard that.
