"There you go. Perfectly stated. It's not really something I myself can really explain. You just know." He said as he smiled at his daughter. "They are yours and you always have a bond with them. Even if you don't want to admit it." He thought of Vaeli and smiled wider.
"Did you know about me dad?" Bridget asked.
"Of course. With you I could have sworn you spoke before you even left the gemfruit." The memory was so clear he was so scared he didn't know what to do with the gemfruit. "Soon afterwards you hatched."

"And we couldn't throw you back" Kisi said as she walked up to nuzzle Rei and give Bridget a little smile.
"Mom you couldn't throw her back, cause then I would be all alone" Zusa said in her whiny little tone, not understanding the sarcasm used in her mother's tone.
Aidan smiled at the small family and said, "I think I understand, so when I have kiin of my own I will just know they are mine before I even see them?" He was still a bit confused but understood what was beign said to him. He couldnt' help but wonder if something might go wrong with him and he woudl never know and his poor kiin would hatch alone and scared.

Rosie nodded.
"Sometimes you don't even know they're coming, until they're here," she replied looking at the gems on her back. "But you know...I just wish I knew who their father was, maybe I can tell after they hatch and grow."

"Zusa, hunny, your mom was just kidding." Reilee laughed as he sat his cheek on top of her head.
Bridget nudged her sister. "You didn't really believe her did you?" She too laughed in the same tone as her father. She then looked at her mom and said, "you couldn't throw me back if you wanted to! I woulda ran back and tackled you!"
Reilee smiled at the male as he looked at his daughters and his soulmate. He was happy he had such a wonderful family. "Believe me you will always know. Right after you exit the Dryad you will know where they are going to sprout. They are half of you; you can feel them."

Aidan gave a small glance at the gems on Rosie's back. "So you will have some kiin, that's great." He gave a small sigh, "I dont' seem to think I have any in there so I am kiin-less" He walked over tot he gems left over anyways and gave a few of them a little sniff.
Zusa did not think it was a good joke and sat her butt down and kinda pouted at her parents and her sister. "Well I don't know if i believed them now" She said as she was almost in tears.
"Oh come here" Kisi said to her daughter, "no point cryign over it, it was a joke, no worries I wouldn't have thrown either of you away as you are both perfect" She thought about how sensitive Zusa was and made a mental note to try and not make those comments around her again.

Bridget went to sit down by her sister. "I'm sorry Zusa. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Bridget made a funny face trying to pick her sister up.
Bridget's face lit up at the refernce her mom made to perfection. She wasn't perfect she knew that but she liked that someone thought so.
