((Please keep all OOC posts clearly labelled and with a RP post. Only bring a maximum of 3 pykiin with you)) Aidan and Daiki had been wandering through the vast amount of land that makes up the Valley only to find that all the pykiin seemed to have been in some sort of Hibernation. This seemed highly odd to the pair as they walked, Daiki asked the question that was on his mind. "Do Pykiin hibernate?" With a small breathe Aidan replied, "Not that I was told." But he wasn't sure if this is something he shoudl know of should have been told. "Maybe we do and I am too dense to know it?" He wondered out loud. Small patches of wet rotting grass were visible around the valley, surrounded by vast amounts of snow. Most areas were flat but int he places where there might be a small bush there was a small mound of snow, that woudl be perfect to go sliding on if you were a smaller creature. Daiki took off and slid down one such mound of snow squeaking in delight. As Aidan laughed he noticed that the sky was cluded over in a light grey mist. Unsure what this meant, he paused for a moment thinking, "could this be another storm or is it going to be a nice day afterall?" With so much snow and only a few sunnier days he was finding that there was not a lot of food for him to find and he was getting hungry, but he dared not bring that up or his little companion would start in the whiny tone that he too was hungry, and that was the last thing that Aidan wanted to hear. They continued on their way to the Dryad hoping to find some sign of life today. So far the only tracks they ever found near the giant tree of life was there own. Aidan was feeling rather lonely about seeing his tracks only day after day.

Eloise was wandering around the valley. She stepped over small rocks and logs humming to herself. Lately she had been having to deal with solitude or her pounce,but now being only with her pounce was getting rather annoying. She was just passing the Dryad when she noticed a male pykiin she had never met before and what seemed to be his bonded."Hi!" she said approuching them curiously.

Serisai yawned widely, shaking her head to clear it of sleep. The drowsy warmth of her tree home made her want to curl back up with her mate and fall back into sleep, but there was something else making her want to get up. Moving carefully to avoid waking Misrule, she stood and stretched out muscles complaining of disuse. I wonder how long I slept, she mused, surprised by the complaints of her body. Or maybe I'm just getting old. Seri smiled at the thought - she certainly didn't feel old. She felt young and alive, a woman in the prime of life, with much left in her.
Seri paused on the threshold, listening to the soft, even breaths of her soulmate, and softer below, the sleeping children. She sighed contentedly, the image of a happy mother, and padded softly down the steps. At the bottom, she was joined by her bonded Maldea. "I'm sorry, did I wake you?" she asked quietly.
"Not at all," the rodeli answered. She did not appear unhappy to be up and about. "There's something in the air..." She trailed off, not sure what she meant to say.
Seri nodded in understanding. "You're right. What say you to a trip to the Dryad?"
Maldea nodded agreement and the pair slipped out of their home into the crisp daylight. The ground was still snowcovered, but Seri agreed with Maldea's assessment. There was something in the air...

Liz de Luna shook the snow from her back, groggily awaking to find that a little remiel was sitting in front of her. And from the looks of it, the remiel must have been there for quite some time now.
"How... did you get here?" Luz said between yawns and stretches. "And who might you be? Are you lost? Perhaps you're someone elses bonded, no?" Her spanish accent fluttered alive at the interrogation.
"Well actually yeah, I AM someone's bonded. Your's!" The remiel chimed thoughtfully, finding it utterly amusing that the kiin didn't even recognize her. "I'm Nieve. Didn't you know that?"
"Si, si... wait, ¡no no! No se, I don't really know. After all, I've been sleeping." Luz breathed, taking an inspection at her new bonded. Nieve was little, slender, and defienetly a pretty soft blue and white. It was a no brainer how she obtained her name.
"Where are we going now?" Nieve sounded excited, bouncing up to Luz's nose.
"How about to the Dryad? Or to find everyone else?"
"Sounds good to me!"

Reilee looked away from the conversation he was having with Bridget, atop a tree branch that they were laying on, to hear a Pykiin voice. He had not heard Pykiin voices outside of his own pounce and family. He flew down from the Dryad to see a red and yellowish orange Pykiin. Bridget too spread her wings to fly down with her dad. "Do you know him dad?" She inquired. "I'm not quite sure." He stated.
Edit: Angie hadn't been out of her den in quite awhile the cold just wasn't her thing. Today she felt she needed to leave to go out. She didn't know where but the only thing that would give her that feeling would be the Dryad. She also knew that near the Dryad would be some food and she was quite hungry. As she approached the Dryad she spotted Serisai. "SERI!" She screamed as she ran up and pounced the female. "I haven't seen you in awhile!"

As Aidan and Daiki approached the Dryad they saw ootprints that were new but also heard voices. Could he be hearing things, he thought as he glanced around. "I think I smell something" Daiki annouced as he scurried off quickly towards the Dryad leaving Aidan to walk by himself.
As he approached the large tree he was greeted by a pykiin that he had never met before. "Hello" he said back to her as he noticed quite a few others headed towards them. Daiki gave a large smile and crawled up onto Aidan's back, whispering softly in his ear, "Apprently hibernation is over"
Aidan with a small skip in his step found a place to sit right next to the Dryad. It was not only a spot that was clear of snow but it seemed to radiate heat or maybe even joy. Maybe the Dryad itself was starting to wake.

As Seri moved into the Dryad's clearing, she felt the presence of more than just the pykiin who slowly converged on the spot. She felt the rousing life in the trees, in the bushes, in the grass still blanketed in snow, in the flower bulbs ready and waiting. "It seems we are not the only ones to awake," Seri commented to her bonded. "The pykiin awake as the land does."
When her old friend leaped on her, she smiled brightly. "Angie! It's so good to see you! I haven't been out much recently. I've been staying home, sleeping mostly. The weather hasn't been to my liking, but I have a feeling that will be changing soon. And how are you?"
Maldea grew bored with the reunion and looked around for another bonded to chat with, preferably another rodeli. Spotting Daiki by the Dryad, she headed over. "Hello. Mind if I join you? My bonded is busy at the moment."

Lola shook her head and stretched then crawled out of the cave she had napped in. So who forgot to mention we hibernated? she asked herself. Maybe I didn't get the memo. I'll have to take that one up with my gaurdian.

Luz made her way the greatest tree in the Valley, the Dryad. Nieve tagged along near her heels, occasionally deciding that she didn't like walking all that much, would jump onto her bonded's back for a ride. The kiin didn't mind, it wasn't that she the remiel weighed much to be honest.
Along their path, it was all so quiet yet sincerely peaceful. Something awakened here and there, which added an extra jolt to their walk. "Where you awake when it was all quiet?" Luz inquired, looking at the signs of the coming of a possible spring.
"Well, actually, yeah. It was all really quiet." The blue remiel sniffed before snuggling closer to Luz's short mane.
"Hmm, I wonder wh.... ¡Holas chica! ¿Como está? How are you? Los arboles canta de... primavera. The tress sing of spring, no?" Luz gushed out excitedly at the site of a pretty purple pykiin who sat there at the base of the Dryad. She didn't look like there was anything quite going on.
Nieve stared at the back of Luz's head with a wry look, My bonded's kind of weird if I do say so myself.

Aidan was starting to feel rather odd, he was being surrounded by pykiin he didn't know and was sure he wasn't related to. Yet comfortable right where he was, as though he were home, and these woudl all someday soon be his friends. He had to admit that although he had a large pounce he had only met some of them, and they were nice but he still felt lonely. Well until Daiki came to live with him.
Daiki sensed Aidan's mood and bounded over to him, "What a collection of Pykiin forming huh?" He asked, as he paid more attention to the bondeds that seemed to be appearing before them as well. It put a little spring in his step to see that he was not alone.
"I feel so comfortable here in the valley surrounded by others, it is weird I thought I might be alone forever." Aidan said in a whisper. Although he had hatched int eh Valley off the branches of the Dryad, he had forgot anything about his childhood, which he found weird. Most pykiin remembered being a kiin if they were raised in the Valley. Maybe his lack of memory was due to the fatc Aidan had been away from the Valley when he had bonded with Daiki, leaving his memories of kiinhood behind him.
~~~~~~~
The Dryad sensing life again was awaking. After a long slumber it welcomed the soft warm breeze that made it's branches sway. Small remnants of Gemfruits could still be seen, that had not been shook free with the rest of the fruit during the last mating season and then there were new buds that could not be seen by any eyes, but felt in the very core of the ancient tree.
"Oh the weather has been so cold! I don't like it too much either. I've been doing good. I'm ready for all the sleepy Pykiin to come awake. Did you know about the hybernation thing?" She smiled at her long time companion as she jumped off her.
Rosie and Katyusha had been taking a walk through the freshly fallen snow, when Rosie noticed the voices and footprints up ahead.
"Shall we go investigate?" Katyusha asked with her accent shining through.
"Of course!" Rosie replied as they began to trot forward. It had been a while since they had talked to others outside their pounce.
As the two approached the group, Rosie paused as she noticed Aiden. Then before she knew what she was doing, she ran forward and pounce/hugged him.
"Aiden!" Rosie squealed.
Hearing his name Aidan looked up, he was having an issue placing a name wiht the pykiin who was talking to him. He must know her, how else would she know his name? He hoped he was hiding his confusion well, but when he stole a glance at Daiki he realized the Rodeli was giving him a queer little glance, which was his answer. He must look greatly confused, and with all his might he tried to clear his face, hoping this pykiin did not feel hurt by his not remembering her. "Hello, how are you?" He managed to croak out, trying to sound confident with his words
((ooc: I know they were on their way to a relationship but with so any months between when we last RP'd I think this is easiest and kind of interesting))
((ooc: i was wondering xD))
"Rosie dear, I think you've confused him," Katyusha purred.
"Oh fiddlesticks," Rosie said as she backed up a bit. "Sorry about that...I sometimes forget it's been a while since I've seen people, and I've definitely changed a bit with the growing and all, I wouldn't even recognize myself sometimes."
Aidan felt a bit ashamed, he obviously shoudl remember this female pykin but could not place her at the moment. While he pondered and tried ot scrounge up an image Daiki took the initiative and asked, "May I ask who you are? My name is Daiki" The small rodeli had perched himself right in front of the lovely pykiin as though he belonged there and was as big as a pykiin himself. Daiki had always had a pretty big personality, not realizing how small he actually was.
Aidan waited for the answer blushing, although nobody could notice. He felt horrible about this but he just coudln't place her, no matter how hard he tried. He looked down and relized that he had been figgeting, and had actually dug a small hole in the earth near his paw. He tried to cover the hole up so he didn't look so nervous.
