"Como Estas..." Saturn repeated to herself, trying to pronouce it more like the strange speaking kiin did, although she found it difficult to mimic her accent. So, it was just another way to ask someone how they were? She'd never heard it used before, but that really didn't prove much of anything.
She hesitated for a moment, but finally padded over to the pair and seated herself a little off to the side. She listened to the rodeli introduce herself and her bonded, and pondered their meanings for a moment. As she examined Luz more closely, something like familiarity nagged at her. Saturn was sure she'd never seen the kiin before, but she was similiar to someone she'd seen before...
Unable to remember an exact name, she pushed the feeling aside, and quietly listened to the kiin converse. She still had questions for the Luz, but resolved to wait until the two had finished. She didn't want to interrupt, especially when the grey kiin seemed so excited about whatever Luz had to say.

As Marie wandered closer to the adult pykiin, she noticed a trail of little pawprints in the snow. Her eyes followed the trail and landed upon a small green kiin standing off to the side, looking either nervous or confused. Curiously, she made her way over.
"Hello there," Maire sang, poking her nose down inquisitively. "Have you lost someone?"
Her multi-colored tail swirled around behind her as she studied the kiin. "Ah, you're a kitsune, aren't you?" she asked with a smile, pointing out Tirza's three tails.

"Oh, that's wonderful. Christopher and Emily, what lovely names. I'll have to meet them sometime, they sound so sweet. Misrule and I didn't have kiin this season, I've still got my paws full with little Tamarai, she and Endy are still kiin. And of course, my home always has kiin in it, all the homeless little ones in the pounce seem to come to me. Rala and Isa are still with me, and Edan was placed in my care. Little Miri stays sometimes as well." Seri didn't realize how many kiin she cared for until she listed them out. Realizing she might sound like she was complaining, she continued, "Not that they're trouble, most of them, and I love having them about." Smiling at Angie, she added, "It seems we've both got our paws full of kiin at the moment."
---------
Tirza lifted her head elegantly, starting to look down her nose at the newcomer, until she realized it was an adult. "Good day to you," she said politely. "I am indeed a kitsune, and I have not lost anyone." She curled her tails about her front paws self-consiously. She wasn't yet sure if being recognized as different was a good thing or not. "I was simply hesitant to intrude on anyone I did not know. Thank you for your concern." She tried to think what else to say, and realized that might be construed as rude. Rather than admit such a thing, she bowed her head slightly. "I am called Tirza."

Angie smiled at Seri. "We've always been the ones to love unconditionally. When that love extends as fr as we let ours it welcomes and I believe 'Kiin are the ones that can sense that love and love to be inside of the circle." Angie realized what she said and she didn't know if it made any sense to anyone but herself. "Sorry I don't know if that made any sense or not. What I mean to say is that we're welcoming Pykiin." "I don't at all mind being around 'Kiin. I love the attention and their innocence. Also I feel pride in knowing I had an influence in what they grow into." She smiled at the thought of Jayden.

"I understand you perfectly," Seri replied, smiling warmly. "Kiin come to us because they can tell we will love and welcome them. And we do, of course, because we could do nothing else. It would be against our natures." She knew that feeling well. It was, after all, the reason she aquired guardianship of so many kiin without families. It was why Rala and Isa stayed with her, it was why Edan's fire-elemental parents had placed their unruly child in her care. It was why she was the unofficial 'mother' of the entire pounce. "There is a great pride in guiding a youngling to their path."

Marie silently stared at Tirza for a moment, listening with facination to how she spoke. Very elegant and mature-sounding for a young kiin, quite unlike some that were in her pounce. The adult then tossed her mane to the side as a small grin spread across her face. "Ah, I'm glad you're okay. And, sorry for being so nosey," she replied, lifting her head away so that she wasn't as close to the kiin's face. "It's just that I haven't seen a kitsune before, you see. And I must say I was curious.. Anyway, It's nice to meet you Tirza." She dipped her head slightly as she intoduced herself. "My name's Marie."
Marie smiled again and then glanced over at the dryad. "It seems quite a few pykiin had the idea to visit today," she said thoughtfully, eyeing one or two new gemfruits upon the brances. She could practically feel the new life of the awakening tree.

"Exactly." Angie sighed with relief. Of course Seri would understand. "I don't know what I would do without 'Kiin. My life would be void well except for Blaine of course."

"Think nothing of it," Tirza answered, inclining her head. "I know I am unusual, and I'm sure you will not be the only one with curiosity." The spotted girl resigned herself to the fact that she would likely be viewed as an oddity, at least until others got used to seeing her multiple tails. "It does seem to be a day of awakening," she agreed, turning her gaze to the Dryad. There seemed to be a stirring, something felt more than seen, but she couldn't place a name on it.
---------
"Yes, the little ones are such a part of my life. It's busy, but never boring." Seri smiled, thinking of some of the incidents. With that many kiin, there was always someone getting into trouble, pulling a prank, are getting into situations they couldn't get out of. "Misrule and I dont' get much time to ourselves these days, but it's so worth it."

"I really don't know what I'd do with myself if it weren't for the 'Kiin that surround me." Angie too smiled. "Never ever boring especially with Chris. He loves to keep me on my toes." She laughed. "The same here. Blaine and I aren't as close as normal but I plan on changing that. I would like to take him on a trip just the two of us. I'm thinking about asking Rei to watch over the 'Kiin for a few days for the trip."

"Hm, that sounds like a good idea, I may have to borrow it. I'm sure Sorka would be happy to watch the kiin for a few days, and if there are too many for her, Sonea could help." Looking up with a smile, she added, "Sonea's grown and moved back to the Valley, I don't know if you knew. Dirsain and Srenai too. All the little ones are growing up." She snorted delicately. "Not my Marai, of course, but she will too."

"You may borrow away." Angie smiled at the thought of her plan. She really liked the idea and the fact that Seri also wanted to join in only made it seem more perfect. "I know that feeling. Growing up..." She paused. "The worst part of parenting and yet the best." "Marai. Aww! Parade will be happy at that peice of information." She smiled as she remembered something about Parade. "Miss Parade had 'Kiin of her own this season. I'll have to make sure to get that to Misrule."

The Dryad gave a small shudder and showed the last of it's gemfruit. A small shake of the branches and each gemfruit bounced softly throught he branches to the ground in into the paws of the awaiting pykiin. The dryad's job was done for this season and it was time to rest up, the job would now begin for the adult pykiin.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Aidan looks at all the precious gemfruit, looking around for any that belonged to pykiin he knew. He was not really sure what to think as they all looked relatively the same to him. As he gave a sideways glance at Daiki, he noticed the small rodeli looked even more confused then he himself was. Aidan then looked aroudn to the other pykiin waiting for them to maybe say something that would indicate they knew who each Gemfruit belonged to. With nobody sayign anything though he decided it was time to break the silence, "Anyone know who belongs to which gemfruit?"
Rosie all of a sudden froze before walking over to a group of two.
"I think these are mine," she said as she sniffed them.
She bent her head and gently grabbed the gems in her teeth and placed them on her back in between her wings.
Reilee looked at the gemfruit. None of them were his. He knew. Bridget looked at her father wondering. Did he have more 'Kiin? How could one tell the difference. As if reading her mind and also replying to Aidan's question Reilee said, "I can usually tell by the colors. Plus I always go to the Dryad after I enter with my soulmate looking for my Gemfruits to appear. I wait for them." He smiled.
Aidan still did not entirely understand, there were so many pykiin whi had the same colors and the gemfruit were the same. It wasn't until Aislin came up beind him and spoke did he grasp what Reilee meant.
"Pykiin who wait for their kiin to be born out of these little gemfruit have a connection wihtt hem. They know that the gemfruit carry their little ones without having to wait for it to be hatched. The Dryad gives them that connection so they feel cared for and loved before they are even hatched." Aislin said as she gathered up two green gemfruit and wandered away happily.
