As Dyami listened to Sorkalai talk, he could picture her home by her discription. "It sounds like a wonderful place to live, very peaceful. I'd love to live there." Dyami replied quietly.

"You shall have to visit, then." Sorka was pleased that he liked the description of her home. "Perhaps once the kits are big enough to travel. I should like to see your home as well."

"That sounds like a wonderful idea, I would love to see your home." Dyami said smiling, "Hopefully the kiin will like traveling and adventures, if they are anything like there parents."

"Travelling is one thing, adventures are quite another," Sorka said with a little laugh. "I have had enough of excitement, and seek only to bring the calm of my home into my heart." There is was, the greatest reason she loved her cold, still home. Attempting to distract from that revealing statement, she continued. "Adventures are for the young, they have the minds and bodies to enjoy it."

Dyami thought about everything that she had said, realizing what she meant. All he could do was nod," Yes, I just wish that I was young so I could enjoy the adventures."

Sorka was quick to reassure him. "I'm sure you're still young enough to enjoy an adventure or two." The smile she favored him with was a little sad, but still encouraging. "I've just had a little much of excitement for my lifetime. It's not age as much as experience."

"Oh, I'm sorry to here that." One part of Dyami wondered what she was speaking of, but the other part of him knew to just leave it alone. He decided to change the subject, "Does your daughter live in the mountains?" He asked Sorkalai.

Sorka noted the deft topic change, and accepted it gratefully. "No, Sonea wanted to move back down into the Valley. I don't believe she's found a permanent den yet; with the good weather, she hasn't needed one."
Kalea added her own commentary. She loved the snow as a kiin, but as an adult it's not nearly as amusing.

"That makes sense. The weather has been good; it's nice to be able to be outside for a long period of time." Dyami replied, going on, "I'm sure that she lots of fun playing in the snow."

Memories of kiin in the snow made Sorka laugh. "Oh yes, she, Brandy, and Ichigo had a delightful time playing in the snow." Realizing he might not recognize the names, she added, "They're the daughters of my two best friends, Adelina and Akiyama."

Two Kiin just recently grown stumbled around the Dryad. Moose quickly bounced over to help Ted and Allegra around. He knew Lakrai might have been around somewhere, so he lifted the two to his back and began his search for Lakrai so he could meet his new son.

Thadeus gently nestled the two gem fruit between his paws. It had been ages it seems since he had last done this, and something within him made his heart beat skip as the small tan fruit began to wiggle and split revealing a tiny nose sniffing it’s way into the world. Thadeus fixed his eyes on the tiny nose and waited for it to break out of the casing on its own.
Nayeli crouched down and met the small nose with her own. A motherly smirked sprung onto her face as the tiny pink nose pulled back into the shell. She pawed at the stem softly and waited for the nose of her young one to come back.
It took a small moment, but soon enough the small nose poked its way back out, only this time it was accompanied by two little paws. The small paws straggled for a moment as the shell began to crack further and soon after collapsed around the small unbalanced Kit. He tumbled onto his side, but soon regained his stability and nibbled on the casing that had protected him from this new world.
Nayeli cooed lovingly at the small boy. “Aw Thadeus, look at him.” She said gently as she nudged him. Thadeus smiled and watched as his first son did what all newly hatched kiin did. He kept close awareness on the blue gem fruit still rested between his paws, but so far it hadn’t made mush of an effort to expose the kit within. So the two waited watching to see what might be concealed.

Lakrai was content to stay still there in the Nursery, laying with Emerald, Rivan, and Azura. Perhaps once they were bigger, he and Emerald should take them to see the Dryad, he mused. But not yet. Now, they would just sleep here and grow, and be loved.
He looked up lazily to see Moose with several grown kiin. "Hey," he called over. "They're growing up already?"

L'ananas and Terralyi approached the Dryad together, chatting amiably with eachother. Aimae was scampering along on L'ananas' left.
"...Anyway, there'll be a few 'kiin this year whose parents can't take care of them. I hate to ask you this, but do you mind adopting one?" asked L'ananas, coming to a stop as they reached the Dryad's base.
Terralyi gave L'ananas a look that clearly said, are you nuts?, and replied, "Of course I wouldn't mind! And don't worry about Sylas." She continued confidently, "He has the biggest heart, and even if doesn't really want me to adopt one of them at first, I'll convince him. Which 'kiin will they be, anyway?"
L'ananas chuckled and shook her head slightly. "Well, Vaeli's 'kiin--"
Terralyi's expression changed completely, and she cut L'ananas off with a ferocious growl. "What?! You're letting her to take the easy way out! That... that..."
"Piece of dirt?" suggested Aimae.
Terralyi nodded quickly. "Yes! Don't let her get away with this! She's not worth the kindness you've been showing to her! Why, I'd like to give her a piece of my mind. She's needs to take responsibility for herself and for her children. ...Her poor daughters... I wonder how they turned out?"
"It's for the 'kiin's safety, not Vaeli's happiness. Trust me. Anyway, Vaeli's around here somewhere, since that's Vanofe over there, sitting on the tree root," said L'ananas, pointing to the little blue Rodeli. "And at least she didn't miss out on her new children's gemfruits."
Terralyi snorted but dropped the subject, though she obviously was still upset since her tail lashed back and forth angrily. She began to walk around the Dryad, looking for Sylas.
Meanwhile, L'ananas and Aimae began to search for Jackson, even though neither of them where even sure that he would be here.
