Eraina started to follow when Shomari ran off, but changed her mind. They were his kits, not hers. She'd just wait here by the Dryad for her own gemfruits to appear, and hope that Shomari returned when they did so. Even so, she didn't really expect her gemfruits to come for a little while, so Shomari had plenty of time to get aquainted with his other offspring first.

((Yes Rae, I'm in love with her xD and I think I'll name her Azura))
"I want you to know, I do want you around, as often as you want to be around, that is," Emerald replied. "I want them to know both of us."
She licked her first son, and nuzzled the little girl, who had just finished eating her gemfruit.

((Excellent, I'm still working on a name, but so far I like Rivan.))
Lakrai nodded seriously. "I have no intention of repeating my past mistakes." He reached out a paw to help his son sit up, then patted the little girl's head. Glancing sidelong at Emerald, he added, "And I don't mean only my mistakes with Sonea and Drienne, though those were many. I made a great many mistakes with Sorka as well." He blinked slowly, and looked back down at the kits. "I wouldn't want to make any of those mistakes again."

"Sorry to run off, but they fell off the branch, and we wanted to get them to the safety of the Nursery," Sugar replied, motioning to all 6 gemfruit...well, 4 gemfruit, and 2 kits who were snuggled up to their parents.
Before she could say anything else, the white gemfruit which had been rocking back and forth, rolled over towards Shomari, while the pink one began to wiggle as well.

"It's fine," He smiled, watching as the two cracked. "Hehe, looks like the white one likes me."

Emerald smiled at Lakrai and then just stared in wonder at her little ones. She was filled with wonder with these two. While she loved her daughters, and had been as great a mom to them as she possibly could, but this was even more special.
"That it does seem," Sugar replied as she steadied the pink one and a tail came out and popped her in the face.
Sugar laughed silently and bent down to speak to the little ones.
"Welcome to the Valley little ones, there are several here to meet you," she whispered, then began to hum a song that Jade had taught her.
The white one cracked all the way around at the top and the face popped up, wearing the top of the gemfruit as a hat to reveal a little female kit with fairy wings. The pink gemfruit cracked open and after sticking out her head, the pink female quickly retreated back into her gemfruit, almost as if she were hiding.

Lakrai reached out again to touch the little green boy with a wondering paw. "Might I have the honor of naming our son?" he asked, his eyes fixed on the kit. A son. A boy with whom to share his wonder and joy of the sky.

"Why helllloooo," Shomari cooed soothingly. "I'm your father." He smiled, knowing they couldn't yet understand. It just made him feel better to say so. He then giggled at the pink one. "Well, she must be like me." He noted her shy manners.
As the white Kit emerged she nibbled slowly on her gemfruit, wrapping herself around it while gnawing at the fruit. She smiled her gums up to her mother and father, slowly wagging her tails to the best of her ability.

Emerald nodded, as she looked at the happy scene. She just hoped that Peri wouldn't feel left out due to so much attention being needed for the newborns

Lakrai just looked at his son for a long moment in silence. Then he placed his paw on the kit's head, as in benediction, and said softly but firmly, "Rivan." It felt right to do it so, and it was a fitting name for a son to share the skies and the winds with his father.

Emerald smiled at her son, and looked at the little girl, who had fallen asleep on her back with her belly showing.
"Azura," Emerald whispered. "Princes Azura of the skies."

Sugar placed the gemfruit beside the kit, to where she was out in the open. "It's alright little one, no one is going to hurt you," Sugar replied. "Both of you are going to be great kiin." She began to hum again, and this time, and she tucked the pink one in her arms, with the gemfruit to nibble on, actually spoke the words." Summertime And the livin' is easy, Fish are jumpin' And the cotton is high. Oh yo' daddy's rich An' yo' ma is good lookin' So hush, little baby, Don't you cry.
One of these mornin's, You's gonna rise up singin' Then you'll spread yo' wings An' you'll take the sky. But till that mornin', There's ain't nothin' can harm you With your Daddy an' Mummy Standin' by.

Gazing at his two offspring, Lakrai felt impelled to speak, but he didn't know what to say. "Rivan and Azura," he began, letting the words flow without thought. "May the skies open before you, and the winds rise under your wings."
Sorka looked about worriedly as the pair of gemfruits began to move. It seemed she would be the only attendent of her second hatching, just like the first.

Suddenly, the two gemfruits split, almost simultaneously. Sorka nearly lost her balance as she reached out a paw to halt the tumble of a pale blue girl, and caught the brown boy on her tail. Regaining her balance, she set both the kits next to their gemfruits, which they promptly started to eat. "Where is the father," Sorka wondered aloud, glancing around the Nursery. She couldn't raise two more kits by herself.

As Thadeus’ eyes remained fixed on the two fruit he noticed the light brown one give a slight wiggle. “Is it time already?’ He asked aloud in amazement as he reached his paw up towards the fruit and cautiously plucked them off of the branch. He set them down tenderly in between his own paws and watched wide eyed as they both tossed about breaking free of their casing.
Adelina took it upon herself to pick up any stragglers that may have connections to her pounce, but was surprised when she ran into Sorka. With a loving gaze she approached her friend and asked casually, “Need any help?”
