Bandita and Kohana giggled, sharing stories of past breeding season, Moose, and wondering about all of the new Kiin. There had been many changes since last season, many more arrivals, even a new discovery came into the Valley! It had been so long since the last season, but they were happy and more prepared for this one. Or so they thought... Two little Kiin followed close behind. Tapanga and Karimah, Bandita and Kohana's daughters. They, too, smiled and told stories of their kiinhoods, and pondered about the new Kiin. Both were rather upset that new arrivals in their families were coming. That meant more attention drawn away from them. They both sighed, and carried on to the nursery, excited to revisit the place of their born. And yet another two came to the Nursery in a different direction. These two were taller, and were speaking of more.. Well, intelligent things. Moose and Kambo smiled as they neared the nursery, the castle of birth and happiness. Basically everything not Vaeli. As they neared the Dryad, they noticed fellow pounce members coming, too. All of them with the same happy look on their faces. "Ah, come to set up, I presume?" Moose smiled to the two elder Pykiin, finding a suitable spot for Ammy and their Kiin to gather. "Mmmmhmmm!" Bandita squeed, pouncing on Moose. "The rest will be here soon, they're just llaaaazzzy. And Khairi's being a meanie face and won't come... He wouldn't budge! But Harmony's going to bring emery over soon." She told him. "Ah, great news!" He smiled, searching the ground thoroughly. No place seemed to be good enough for Ammy nor their Kiin-to-come. "So I hear you two are expecting new ones, as is Shomari?" His eyebrows raised, the two smaller daughters of theirs sighing. Bandita and Kohana nodded, and they all parted, looking for places to settle. |

Sugar and Emerald approached the nursery area. Emerald was familiar to the place as this is where her two daughters were hatched, while Sugar just stayed close behind looking around.
They found a quiet spot where they could watch everyone else.

It was a strange group that found themselves near the Nursery. Orinda, flighty and distractable, striving mightily to keep her attention on the kiin she expected. Athena, calm and cold, waiting to take charge of the second child in her care. Sorka, looking nervously at the assembled pykiin, wondering who had been chosen to be her mate, wondering if she was being set up for another heatbreak. Each settled in quietly, waiting with their own thoughts and fears.

As Thadeus drew near to the Dryad he noticed a small gathering, well small in a sense of what was really in the Valley. He hadn't noticed this offset tree when he had first come to the Valley, but he had a feeling that it was a place that had great importance. He wasn't sure how things worked in the Valley, but he was more than willing to learn, and all this talk and hope of 'Kiin made his tails twitch with excitement.
Towering over all the Pykiin gathered he felt a bit out of place, but none the less sat and enjoyed the bussied group. For some reason the chatter calmed his nerves.

A black flitter stepped nervously into the nursery area, this was her first outing since growing, and it wasn't that she'd been hiding, she was just nervous about what Sean would think.
She smiled at all the other pykiin and after noticing Sugar and Emerald, began to make her way towards them.
"Millie?" Sugar asked as the flitter approached.
Millie nodded and smiled.
"Looks as if we'll all be parents together this time," she replied.

Insinia jogged to the place where she saw her kiin hatch and grow last breeding season. On her back was Leelee, her daughter from the breeding season before. It was so long since then! A deep interest sparked the two to take a look at what was to be held this season. She'd only wish that Nakao was here, so he could see his new siblings. Or so she heard about C'teresi's new kiin.
But to their merry contentment, Twiz followed along aswell. This was going to be an amazing new chapter to her life! Seeing kiin grow, in hopes that they'll enjoy their new pounce with her and everyone else wasn't something she would give up! The three sat quietly, enjoying the peace and chatter.

Siren and Nephele quickly padded towards the gathering. Nephele smiled as she neared the nursery, excitment raising in her eyes. All of the fuss of the breeding season would finally pertain to herself. She quickly glanced over to Siren, who was following closely behind.
Siren smiled as she watched the gathering Pykiin ready for the arrival of the eggs. This was both their first season and they wanted to be fully prepared parents.

Sugar noticed the Thadeus as he appeared in the nursery, and after excusing herself from Emerald and Millie walked over to him.
"Good to see you again," she replied. She hoped beyond hope that they would be blessed with a kit from the Dryad this breeding season.

Thadeus looked down at Sugar, "Why hello." He smiled genuinely, "Do you mind if I ask what this place it exactly?" His tails wagged knocking against eachother and tangeling togther.
"I mean it looks to be a place of importance, but I can't quite figure out what it is." He lifted his paw slowly as he flattened his mangles mane against his chest. He wasn't used to having company, yet alone other females. Nayeli wasn't one ot care about apearances, but Thadeus was sure that looking as though he just stepped out of bed probably didn't give others a good impression.

Sugar smiled and held in a laugh as he tried to brush his fur.
"This is the nursery, a place we all helped to create last breeding season," Sugar replied. "It allows us a place to gather and await the Dryad to bless us with gemfruits. A place that's protected, where we can watch them til they're old enough to move."

Slowly approaching were Shomari and his daughter, Amelie. Melly smiled up to her father, "I'm excited to see my new brothers and sisters!" She bounced. "I really want a brother, though.. Do you think you can.. Ask the Dryad for a brother?" She tilted her head.
Shomari smiled and patted Melly on her soft, fuzzy head and chuckled. "Now, Mel.. I can't just ask her. She decides for us." He laughed. Melly sighed and continued walking. He looked around for a moment then turned back down for his daughter. "How aboutyou go find a area for us then come find me?" He asked her. She nodded happily and scurried off.
Shomari took in a deep breath. A bit dissapointed he didn't find anyone he recognized from Raina's pounce, he began to search for Sugar. Soon he found himself with no luck, but then spotted Emerald. He smiled and padded toward her. "Hi, Emerald!" He smiled. "Do you know if Sugar's going to be here today?.." He asked softly.

"Ah, so I'm guessing this breeding season is around the corner then?" He smiled thinking about the joy of more 'Kiin. "Does on eknow if the Dryad graces one with the gift of gemfruit?" He was still unsure about parenting, something about it still scared him, but he felt ready to take on another's life.

Emerald nodded.
"She's over there talking to Thadeus, explaining to him about the nursery. She and I were some of the first pykiin he met from the valley," Emerald explained, smiling at Amelie as she scurried off.
"They grow up so fast, don't they?" she asked more to herself than anyone else as she thought about Peridot who was walking up with Sugar's adopted daughter Ahava.
"Hi Dad," Ahava said quietly, as she hadn't really spent much time around him. Peri whispered something to her mom, left her jar of dirt and began to circle the Dryad, waiting impatiently for gemfruit to appear, she couldn't wait to meet her new half siblings.
Sugar smiled at Thad and understood what he meant.
"I don't think I'd be ready if it weren't for all the other kiin I'd been helping raise from the pounce," she replied. "Sometimes we know, and sometimes kiin are surprised.:

Thadeus nodded diligently, "Well then I guess she only knows." He smiled as he looked the Dryad up and down.
"I don't think I'm ready, but then again who's to say I'm not, besides myself?" He chuckled at himself as he thought for a moment, sure two 'Kiin was hard, and with no definant home who was he to even begin thinking about wanting his own to raise. Maybe by the time that the gemfruit began to sprout he would have found a place.
