((Isis  One of my faovrite Egyptian goddesses. Can't wait to see her if you do.)) She.. was nervous?.. Maybe I should get less tense.. Shomari thought to himself, slowly relaxing his body. "So.. Um.. We're having Kiin... Yeah..." He said in his soft, highish-toned voice. He tried not to make it awkward, but suffered with epic fail. |

Eraina was breathing deeply, supressing her normal reaction to Shomari's presence, which was to blush and stutter. "Yes." Another deep breath, and she forced herself to say the words. "I want you to know that while I would love to spend time with you, I don't expect you to feel the same way about me. Either way, I want our kiin to know both their parents, and I want to make sure that we're at least friends for their sake." Oh, how much it cost her to say that, when part of her wanted to throw herself at him and beg him to like her. But it was better this way, better for the kiin. She had to think of them, not only herself. What would happen to them if she threw herself at him and he rejected her. She couldn't risk it.

((Yes, that would be a neat Idea, after all Anubis was the chosen one and he always said she was favored ^^ I think a great way would just to improvise because obviously Nephele doesn't know much about these things yet. Perhaps Athena could be a mentor of some sort? And later on I would love to create an Isis Pykiin that could fall into it some how  )) Nephele, for once, felt at ease with these Pykiin, comfortable and even as Hecate eased up, she felt grateful to be in the company of both of them. "The Chosen?" Nephele mumbled it, mostly to herself, it was all so vauge in her mind. "My uncle was a Chosen, wasn't he?" she titled her head quickly looking for Athena's response. She then nodded, "I would love to visit the temple again. It was a fun journey.." |

"N..No... It's okay.. I want to spend time with you, too.." He blushed, "I want them to know both of their parents, too.. Last season I had Kiin with Yulana and Amai.. One doesn't even know I'm his father, and the other two I barley see.." He explained. Shomari knew that he should start conversation. "So.. Do you like...um.. Water?" He asked.

Hecate muttered under her breath, for Athena's ears only, "You realize she's Chosen?" Athena nodded ever so slightly. After all Anubis had told her as much long ago, when Nephele was yet a kiin. To Neph, she said, "Yes, your uncle was Chosen of Anubis. We would love to have you at the Temple again."
Eraina blushed and nearly lost the battle to stuttering. He wanted to spend time with her! "Well, I haven't had any kiin yet, but I want all of them to have two parents." She was quite firm on that, having seen enough one parent homes. Sonea seemed well enough, but she was older than her age because of her parents' issues. If nothing else, she lacked a male role model to teach her.
"Do I ever!" Water, the greatest passion in her life. On a whim, she decided to confide one tidbit she hadn't even told her bonded. "Once I'm a water elemental, I hope to become a Syren if I can. There's on in my pounce, and I can't imagine anything more perfect."

"I'm gonna have siblings? Can I have sisters? Boys are icky. Except the brother I have now. Don't want another brother," exclaimed a small green 'kiin, bouncing slightly as she walked along side her mother.
Aluna smiled fondly at her daughter and said, "It's all up to chance, Em. You might get two brothers this time."
Emerila frowned slightly, but then declared loudly, "Asa is the only brother I want."
"Not so loud, Emerila," whispered Aluna, as they neared the Dryad and the other Pykiin who were gathered there.. "And you have another half-brother and a half-sister who live with their mother, remember? I'm pretty sure their names are Leelee and Nakao."
"Mom, they're only half-siblings. They don't count... Anyway, I've never met them." said Emerila, rolling her eyes. Though suddenly, her jovial mood turned serious. "Mom, will Dad be here?"
"No, he won't be here today. He has a soulmate now. You know Aralyth's daughter, Shelby? Aralyth says that they're already soulmated and already have 'kiin. So he's probably at his den with his family," explained Aluna.
"Oh, alright... Can I go play now? Please?" begged Emerila, suddenly cheering up again.
Aluna smiled and gently pushed her daughter with one paw. She sat down and wrapped her tails around her, saying, "Go on now. Don't get into trouble."
Emerila immediately bounded away, giggling and laughing as she fluttered up to smack at the Dryad's branches--the ones that didn't hold any gemfruits--or pounced on fallen leaves.
Aluna watched her daughter fondly for a moment before turning and gazing up into the branches of the Dryad.

"C'mon, let's race!" Tapanga squealed as they neared the exit of the nursery. She began to bound away, Amelie and Karimah following after her. Tapanga thought of a sly, or so she thought, idea. She propelled herself in the air, dodging Dryad branches. She looked back to her competition. When she looked foward again to find a light green Pykiin right ahead of her. She slowed down as fast as she could, only lightly tapping her on the chest.
"...Hi!" Tapanga shouted, leveling herself to the other. "You wanna come with me and my pouncemates?" She asked. "I'm Tapanga, from Farnley's pounce, we're going to collect berries!" The pink Kiin told the stranger.
Shomari's face lit up, and he quickly relaxed as Raina spoke. "Water is the bes element there is!" He smiled. "We have a Syren in our pounce, too. She's teaching me a lot about water and Lysana. Her name's Mist, you might kow her." He said.

Ahava followed Tapanga up to the green kiin and smiled.
"Hiya! You're Asa's sister right?" Ahava asked. "I'm from Jade's pounce, me and Asa live together in the big grove of dogwoods."

Karimah and Amelie fluttered up to the Tapanga and Ahava, beckoning Orinda to come with them. As they reached the level this green kiin was on, Karimah sniffed her. "Hellooooooo!" She smiled.

"Hi! I'm Emerila! Nice to meet you all," said Emerila, grinning at the other 'kiin. She glanced back at her mother for a second before saying, "I'd love to come with all of you!"
Turning to Ahava, she said, "And yep, Asa is my brother. How's he doing?"

"Alrighty, let's goooooo!" Tapanga bounced. She dove back to the ground, her pouncemates following close behind.
As they left the nursery, Mellie turned to Emerila. "So... What pounce're yah from?" She asked padding alongside Karimah.

Ahava turned all drama queen.
"He's horrid," she said sarcastically. "He's always fighting with me and being mean."
Ahava then burst into a fit of giggles and smiled at Em.
"Actually he's fine, he's one of my bestest friends in the pounce," she responded truthfully.

Orinda leaped into flight along with the kiin. "Hi Emerila, I'm Rinda." She looked around the growing group, of which she was the only adult. "The more the merrier." To herself she added, "I guess that means I'm responsible. What a nightmare." She snorted and shrugged it off. It wasn't like they were going to get hurt picking berries.
"Of course water's the best," Raina agreed. Her face shone contentedly. "I've heard of Mist, she's quite important in Lysana, right? Virea told me about her when she was telling me about the city. She's going to take me there sometime, maybe we could go together?" She smiled at him hopefully.

Shomari nodded. "Yeah, she was the one that showed everyone around Lysana at the last An'ethyst hunt." Shomari smiled a bit and looked at his toes. He ten looked back up to Raina, looking into her eyes. "Yeah.. I'd like that." He blushed.

"We'll have to do it then," Raina said, blushing furiously and looking away. She cast about for something else to say. Water was a nice safe subject. "So, um ... we'll both be water elementals. Do you have a bonded yet?"
