Seri coaxed Sorka to her feet and they moved further into the Nursery. She cast around for someone they could talk to, to help keep Sorka's mind off the father of her expected kits.
Hecate tried again to speak to Athena. "You've driven Rilia away already. Don't make the same mistake again." The Chosen of Athena winced, but did not answer.

Bandita smiled at everyone fathering around the nursery. It felt just like last season.. But something was missing. She looked down to her son, Razi, and he looked back up to her with his black, beady eyes. Mayonoka and Kazuki! Razi pawed at her, thinking the same thing. "I know.. Hopefully they'll be here soon.. Before our gemfruits start. He sighed, climbing on her back and cuddling into her wings for a nap.
Menawhile, Tapanga and Karimah looked about for other Kiin to play with. Soon they found themselves luckless and went back to Kohana. "Mommmyy." Karimah sighed. "We're boredddd."
Kohana smiled and patted Karimah on the head. Karimah snorted. "How about you go collect some berries for Aunt Bandita and I.. Ask if Kambo would like to come with you on your way out, you two haven't spent much time with her latley."

Raina's mind finally stopped spinning in circles, and she took several deep breaths. "I should go talk to him," she told herself firmly. But she didn't move. "I'm going to talk to him." Still nothing. "Move it," she ordered. A tentative paw stepped forward. She sighed. "I'll never get there at this rate."
Orinda was bored with pykiin-watching. She fluttered down from her perch and joined Tapanga and Karimah. "I'm bored too. Let's do something."

Tapanga's face lit up. "Hi! I'm Tapanga. We were just about to go collect some berries. But first we have to go askone of our pounce mates if she wants to come. She prolly won't want to though. She's boring and helping her dad... My mom's just making us." She rolled her eyes.
Karimah smiled sweetly. "I'm karimah, nice to meet you." She said softly.

The little flitter smiled at the kiin brightly. "I'm Orinda. Are you waiting here for kits too?" She moved to follow Tapanga.

Ahava gave her dad a big hug.
"I'm good, Sugar's been taking really good care of me," Ahava said, taking all her dad's attention...atleast in her mind she was. "So, I'm gonna have new brothers and sisters, right? Some even with Sugar? I think that's really cool, since she's been like my mom anyway. Though I love my real mom too, I go see her sometimes, whenever I'm not starting fights with Asa. He's fun to fight with, he doesn't fight too rough."

As Nephele's eyes scanned the audiance of attentive pykiin, they landed on a familiar face. She gently narrowed her eyes, blinking a few times. It had been so long. She pondered, a name, any name..so familiar. She hesitantly began to pad over to the pykiin and before long it clicked. Athena!, she thought to herself, she began to walk a little faster, a smile on her face.
"Hey Athena!" she called out, slowly stopping before her.."Do you remember me?" a large smile on her face told the others that she was overly estatic to see an old face.

"Nephele!" Athena siezed on the pale pykiin's arrival as a respite from Hecate's increasingly pointed comments. "Greetings to thee. I am pleased to make known to thee the Chosen of Hecate." Hecate gave the proper bow, but there was a gleam of sardonic amusement in her eyes. "You're so much bigger than the last time I saw you. I trust you are well?"
Raina took another hesitant step toward Shomari. Half of her hoped he would notice and come over, and the other half hoped he'd vanish before she made a fool of herself.

Nephele bowed with glee at Hecate, her eyes drifting a bit as a suden flash of memories went by. She remember vaugely about the times with her uncle, Anubis and wondering towards some sort of temple with Athena and Heranai. She blinked quietly coming back to reality. "It's a pleasure to meet you" she spoke with a voice a little more mature then the last time she'd seen Athena.
Neph then nodded quickly at Athena, too excited to feel the heat like glance from Hecate.
"I am, I have finally made it back here, I guess that's all that matters. And.." she smiled slowly turning to show her newly aquired adulthood. "I finally grew!" she finally had time to look over Athena and her guest with approving eyes. "You are more beautiful then I remembered." she slowly glanced at Hecate once again, cowering a bit.

Arii watched silently from the trees, thinking about breeding season. She had a terrible feeling in her stomach, which she thought could be nervousness. She had been paired up with some male named Falarynn, and she didnt even know what he was like.
Will he be nice to the kiin he gets? Will he be nice to me? Other questions swirled around her mind, all unanswered. Letting out a small sigh, she flicked her tail so that it wrapped around her paws.

"Yeah," Tapanga said, "We're both getting new brothers and or sisters." She told Orinda. "We're not too excited bout it, cause that means our moms and dads won't really have too much time for us.. But I guess it's time for us to grow up." She cringed. As they neared Kambo Karimah noticed she was busy.
"Let's go get Mellie instead." Karimah elbowed Tapanga. She nodded, and they padded foward. "Just one more stop, then we can leave." Karimah looked to Orinda.
Soon they got to Shomari, seeing Ahava, too. "Oh, hi, Ahava!" Tapanga smiled. "You and Mellie wanna come and collect berries and junk with us? This is Orinda, by the way." She told Mellie and Ahava. Shomari smiled and nodded to Ahava and Mellie in approval.. He had also just seen Raina and knew he needed to speak with her.

"Yeah!" she exclaimed. "No boys, right?" She shuddered at the thought of Asa joining them.
"Bye Daddy! I love you," Ahava said as she hugged him and bounded over towards Tapanga and Karimah.

"Nooope!" Tapanga giggled. "Nnnoo boys!" She stuck her tongue out at the thought. Karimah and Tapanga waved to Shomari as Mellie joined them, too.
"Be back before dark!" Shomari shouted as they left the nursery. "Now..." He said, his eyes searching for Raina again. Finally his eyes settled on her, but then he looked at his toes. He took in a big breath, looked up a bit, and stepped foward. When he got close enough he spoke. "H-h-hi Er-rain-na." He said softly and shakily.

Rinda nodded as Tapanga spoke of their expected siblings. "I'll be having some kiin of my own. With someone called Shiranui, do you know him?" She didn't seem too interested in her mate. The way Rinda figured it, she was in no way ready to be a mother, so someone else would have the dubious pleasure of raising her offspring.
Hecate smiled at Neph, her forbidding face softening. "The passage to adulthood is a great time of your life. It is when you discover who and what you really are." After all, the moment of growing was also when the Chosen recieved the message and marking of their god.
Athena raised her brow at Nephele's comment. "Well thank you. The time has done you well also." She tilted her head, noticing other, subtle changes in Nephele. "Will you be joining us in the Temple Valley?" she inquired.
((Are you still planning on having Neph Chosen of Isis, and if so, how do you want to play that out?))
Raina was suddenly calm. Her feet again obeyed her. Now she would discover if her fears were real or unfounded. There was nothing she could do to determine the outcome. She was calm. "Hello Shomari." She felt the familiar warm flush as she looked at him and spoke his name.
