Sandi carefully followed instructions, making a small slit in the tree bark. "How's that?"
"No problem, Cap'n," Marai answered, holding up the shell. When Brandy fell, she looked down worriedly. "Are you alright?" Brandy bounded off, so Marai assumed she was fine. She carried the full shell and the remiel back to the ship.

Brandy squealed in excitement. It was one of those that made things quite akward, but she didn't seem to notice, instead she turned to the two that had just joined again, "Ye did a magnificent job ye did." She smiled and looked around for something to smear the sap onto the ship with.
After a moment of pondering she smiled and quietly approached a large bush. The leaves on it were tough and burly. Plucking a few off she walked back to the four she had left and handed one leaf to each of them, “We be needin to seal the top of de ship, so take a little bit of dis leaf an wipe a bit of sap. We gots to works fast else the sap be gettin hard and we not be wantin that.” She smiled and took the leaf in her mouth and dipped a portion of it in the sap.
Slowly she walked over to the vessel and began to fill in holes and smooth the wood.

Peri burst into giggles as she grabbed another leaf and jumped beside her sister helping to spread the sap.
"I can't wait to actually sail our 'ship'!" she exclaimed.

Sandi couldn't hold a leaf, so instead she carried the shell, bringing it to each kiin when they seemed to be running out.
Marai grabbed a leaf and imitated Peri and Brandy, giggling. She was starting to get the hang of understanding pirate talk, though she wasn't trying to speak it much yet.
All of a sudden, Raina stood and dove smoothly into the water. The ripples flowed outward from the point of impact, proof that she'd been there. Sandi could barely make out the blurry colors of her form twisting about under the surface.

Brandy stopped her work for a moment as she peered into the water at the now blurry figure of the ‘Kiin who had refused to help earlier, she shrugged and finished smoothing out her portion of the ship and gleamed as she saw the others at work.
Taking a few steps off the vessel she stood on the somewhat beach and looked at the beauty, “Aye she be looking fine.” Brandy stated as she saw the ship was nearly finished, “Now we’ll just have to wait for the sap to settle in and dry, shant take too long.” She smiled, “We be needin a said though, any one have anything proper?”
Brandy took a look around for any sign of something cloth like she could attach to the mast and create a suitable sail.

"Aye, I has something that might work," Peri replied.
She ran over towards Emerald and Sugar and after talking for a moment, the two adults flew off with Peri.
They quickly returned with a huge flat sheet of woven fibers.
"This should work. The work be belonging to Sugar, she made it with her loom," Peri replied as she set the large cream colored sheet down.

Talkane watched as the other worked, looking curious and a tiny bit confused. They had good piratey accents, she had to admit, but she really wasn't sure what they were talking about... Or what they were doing.
"I know it's kind of late to be asking... But is there anything I can do to help?" asked Talkane, directing her question to both Brandy and Peridot.

"I think we're waiting for the pitch to dry, but we still have to put up the sail," Peri replied. "Want to help me pull it out to make sure it's big enough?"
Peri began to unfold the sail.

Brandy smirked widely when the sail was brought into veiw,"Aye, that'll do." She nodded rapidly and looked over the Black Peanut waiting in anticipation for the seal to dry.
Turning slightly towards Talkane Brandy gave a little giggle, "As soon as this sap dries we shall be needin ye asistance in the hangin of the sail and riggings. She smiled as she turned to a small pile of rope that was hiden beneath a few leaves and pulled it out, "We be needin all sorts of help for this." It seemed to be constructed of sturdy pliable vines twisted together by an Earth Elemental. "Danita grew them all nice just for our ship, maties."

Peri ran up and grabbed part of the rope. "Where to?" she asked.
She was having so much fun with her sister and friends both old and new.

Brandy half skiped half walked to the ship with the riggings dangeling from her mouth. She carefully dabbed her paw on the wood to make sure the sap had set, then after being sure it was she jumped aboard.
"Do ye want to bring that fine sail this way, Peri?" She asked as she scoped the mast with the crows nest resting at the top.

Talkane nodded. "I can do anything you need me to do," she promised.
She glanced from Peridot to Brandy, unsure of what to do for a moment, then raced forward to help Peridot with the sails.

Peri set down the rope that had been in her mouth and trotted over to the sail. She carefully drug it towards the Black Peanut.
"Here ya go," Peri replied as she smiled up at the sky, a slight breeze ruffling her fur. "Seems to be a great day to set to sea."

"Aye." She responded breifly while trying to think of how exactly to hook the sail on the ship, "We may be needin' some adult help." She had to admit that the mast was far larger than her reach could manage, and that without someone who was much taller's help it simply would never get done.

Talkane tilted her head back as far as she needed to so she could see the top of the mast. Brandy was definitely right; it was way to tall for any of the 'Kiin.
"Who are you going to ask to help?" wonder Talkane out loud. She couldn't think of any adults that she knew would be willing to help and were nearby, but Brandy and Peridot probably did.
