((This is a continuation of The Breakup, but only with Yume and Valemor. Akiyama, Sorka, Addei and the others are still in the other RP; Kumon and I are just moving Yume and Valemor out of that RP and into this one.
Unless you feel that you really must join, then please leave this thread for Kumon and I only. Thanks much.))
Yume laughed as Valemor sped up. "Hey, wait!" Yume cried, finally catching up to him. "Why were you running so fast?" She asked, completely oblivious to the stone he was checking on. She smiled, catching her breath with long, quiet gasps of air. She finally took one last breath, then sat down, taking her tail and brushing threw it, annoyed with all the knots it'd recieved from her running.

Valemor smiled."Sorry I uh...had to make sure the way was clear." said Valemor making something up. He hoped that he didn't seem weird. He made sure that she had caught her breath before he inched forward and squeezed through the bushes. Beyond the bushes was the Lake. Birds flew above chirping what seemed to be a welcome. All around the Lake were patches of colorful floweres. The sun reflected on the water making it sparkle. Valemor looked to the sky."Please help me."he said to himself in a nervous whisper.

"Oh, well, thanks for checking the path, then," Yume smiled, laying her tail down and getting up, swipping her bangs away from her face. She followed Valemor, brushing past the bushes and stopping as she saw the lake. She froze, took a breath of air, then slowly began smiling. Yume darted to the flowers, and began galloping threw them, touching one here and there, and bending down to look at one closely. She looked up at Valemor after a minute or two and grinned, "This place is so, so pretty, Valemor!" She then looked at the flowers again, smiling as she touched them again.

Valemor trotted over to were Yume was galloping in the flowers.He smiled his eyes gleaming. He knew that he had made the right choice. Now he jsut had to wait for the right moment.He sat in the flowers and picked a pink flower taking in the fresh smells.He went over to Yume and placed the pink flower in her mane. he stepped back smiling as he looked at how beautiful she looked.

Yume stood still as Valemor put the flower into her mane. She tilted her head a bit, curiously, then smiled, closing her eyes happily. "Thank you!" She looked at him, then sat down, taking the flower out for just a moment, looking at it. The beautiful little plant stood up nearly straight in her paw, the top bending down just a bit under the weight. "It's so pretty," she smiled, replacing it. "I love flowers, they're so pretty. And they're all different, just like pykiin." She sat down, looking at the flowers all around them. "Thanks for showing me the lake."

"Your welcome,but there is another reason why I took you to the lake."said Valemor looking up at the sky and thinking for what to say.A single ray of sun fell on them as if it was a spotlight.Valemor pulled out a diamond from his mane.Showing it to Yume. Engraved in the stone were the words:I love you. Valemor looked down at the stone gleaming in the sun light and then back up at Yume."Would you..whould you be my soulmate?"he asked.

Yume's heart raced, and her mind was confused. She looked at Valemor's eyes, wondering what she ought to say. "I..." she mumbled, unsure of what to do. The truth was that Yume had feelings for Valemor, as well, but yet....
"Valemor," she bit her lip, looking at the flowers beneath her, praying to herself that he wouldn't be hurt. "I... I think - I know I love you, too, but with Akiyama and I just... leaving each other, I don't feel ready to think of a soulmate yet." She smiled up at him, her cloudy eyes forming tears because of what she wanted, and what she knew she should do. "But... may we just... you know, hang out a little, first?" She looked at him for a second longer, then at her paws, unable to look at him longer, since her heart was racing too fast. "I love you," she said silently, her lips moving but no sound coming out at all.

Valemor looked disapointed but stepped back understangily.He pulled the diamond back."If you aren't ready then I can wait."said Valemor smiling and wipping her tears away."There's no reason to cry,I understand and would feel the same way if it was me.I'm sorry I rushed you."

Yume smiled sadly, but she was glad he was being patient. She didn't want to go threw what she had with Akiyama again. This time, she would make sure it was true before doing anything rash. She whipped under her eyes at a tear, gently brushing against Valemor's paw. "I'm sorry," she quickly said. "And... it's okay. I'm sorry that I'm... being slow. I'm sorry," she repeated herself. "Our friendship, though. That won't leave, will it?" She asked, hoping that they would still be friends, just as they had been before seeing the lake.

"Of course!"said Valemor moving his paw away and sitting down. He looked down at the ground. He was silent,but didn't want things to be anymore ackward."Um..do you want to go swimming?"he asked.

Yume nodded, feeling like that had ended it. "Good." She thought for a moment, then smiled and answered, "If you want to, then sure. But..." she looked up to the sky, wondering if the clearness would bode well. She moved next to Valemor and nuzzled him. "Thanks." She backed up a bit, blushing, happy.

Valemor shuck his head trying to clear his head of what had happened. Valemor nuzzled Yume back "Your welcome" he said and smiled before trotting into the water and splashing around watching the water ripple in circles around him.

Walking after Valemor, Yume smiled. She watched Valemor splash in the water, then walked into the warm water after him. She laughed lightly, watching the tiny tidle waves go toward the edges. ((I'm sorry. I'm going to go to bed, and tomorrow I likely won't be online much, if I'm online at all. Good night, and I'll reply as soon as I'm able to.  ) |

He swam to the edge of the water then ducked under the water. He came up for a breath a few moments later.

Yume looked up to the sky, wondering what the clouds were saying today. "What was that?" She asked, reverting to her playful, childish self. "Oh, yeah, it is a good day, huh?" She dove into the water, coming up with her hair soaking wet. She tilted her head at the clouds, then turned to Valemor. "The clouds asked how you're doing," she told him, grinning.
