"Oh I'm good,you?"asked Carmen sitting back down.
Valemor stood by Yume,but kept quiet while the two said hi and talked a little.

"Best day of my life," Yume answered, smiling as she sat down, feeling safe next to Valemor. She'd have felt safe, anyway, but having him there helped. "So what have you been doing all day?" She asked Carmen.

"That's good."said Carmen nodding.She turned to Valemor."I was wondering where you had run off to last night!"said Carmen laughing.
Valemor smiled."Yume had soemthing going on last night and I stayed with her after matters seemed to be settled for the night."said Valemor. He didn't know if Yume wanted to tell Carmen about what had happened.

Yume laughed apologetically. "Sorry that I sort of stole your dad from you last night," she said, smiling at Carmen. She smiled, then, at Valemor, wondering how he'd known something had happened. She didn't ask, though, because she was just grateful that he had known.

"My pouncemate, Yue. He's very thoughtful," Yume smiled. "Not in the kind sort of thoughtful, though he is, but I mean, in the sort of thoughtful that he's always thinking." She looked at Valemor, thinking a bit to herself. She knew she had done the right thing by saying that she wanted to wait, but yet, she felt strangly empty, like she had made the wrong choice. She looked away to Shelby again and smiled.

((Sorry, I was thinking about the girl who was in my choir class last year. ^_^;; She has the same name.  )) Yume smiled, "You may not have. I've met him only a couple of times, since he's Akiyama's nephew, sort of. He keeps to himself, to be honest." She wondered how strange it'd be to say what she was thinking. She thought she had better wait until they were alone. It wasn't a rush, though, so she wasn't going to say anything now. |

Valemor spoke up."Well Carmen I think Yume wanted to see her kiin now if you don't mind. I'm sorry to be leaving agian,but I should be back late tonight."he said smiling. Carmen smiled."No I don't mind at all! If you get mad at my dad I give you permission to wack him with you tail,it can be useful at times."she said smiling to Yume before laying back down on her moss bed and pulling out her papers. Valemor giggled before turning to Yume."Ready?" |

Yume giggled, as well. "No, I don't think I'd ever smack Valemor." She craned her head down to Carmen, "Besides, flinging my tail all over the place would put knots in it," she winked, then got back up and smiled at Valemor. "Okay, then, I suppose we ought to go check on Kiriya," she nodded, walking out of the den after saying, "Bye, Carmen. See you later!"
