Adelina smiled, "Well, if we don't find her by dark we can always head over to the hallow we found earlier, it coulnd't be too far fromw where we are now."
"Well, if you eat snow, since it's already cold you can get hy-poi-thhhh-er-mee-a." Brandy said with a wide smile not sure if hse had pronounce dit correctly or not.

Suddenly Sorka realized that the sun was nearly down, and she no closer to shelter. She started to turn back, intending to return to Akiyama's den, when something caught her eye. Automatically, she turned towards it. Something drew her to continue upriver, just a little way. When she reached a small tributary, she turned to follow it into the trees. The roar of water, deeper than the rush of the river, filled her ears. Her view was blocked by trees and a turning in the stream, but she knew that what she sought was just ahead.
Sonea broke away from the game of tag, moving slowly to stand at the entrance looking out. Something important was happening, but she didn't know what it was.

"Sounds like a plan," Akiyama smiled, walking upstream. "Sorrrrrrkaaaaa!" He called out, hoping that perhaps she would be able to hear. He didn't want to leave her out in the cold night.
Ichigo grinned, "Hyperthermia?" She tried to pronounce the large word. "It sounds like some lady named Hyper." She snickered. She spun around and looked around for Sonea. "Hey, Sonea, are you okay?" She asked, walking over to her friend.

"Yeah," Sonea answered, her gaze unswerving. "It's just... There's something... I don't know." She gave up explaining with a shrug.
When Sorka rounded the curve, she was faced with a wonerous view. A small waterfall cascaded elegantly down a steep but short drop; it was barely as tall as Sorka. Below was a large pool, turbulent where the waterfall entered, but still as glass elsewhere. Unthinkingly, she reached out to Kalea, to share this moment. Everything was perfect, it resonated with her in a way she hadn't known she needed. Kalea summed it up with one word, full of warmth and satisfaction. Home

Adelina a little more gently too called out, "Sorka, can you hear us?" She kept her pace, but was growing a little worried.
Brandy smiled, "That's what I told my momma too." She then glanced at Sonea, she was looking a little pale to say the least, "Do you want to go with us to find mountain berries, or..."

"Sorka," Akiyama called out, then echoing her name more softly, worriedly. "I hope that we find her soon," he said as he quickened his pace.
Ichigo nodded, "Yeah, if you want to stay here or something else..." she trailed, wondering what another option would be.

Addei too quickened her pace to match Akiyama's. "Me too." She said in a hushed tone as she looked down at the ground.
Brandy waited for Sonea to respond as she twirled the bracelet on her back paw.

Akiyama slowed a bit, trying to calm himself. He knew that Sorka would find somewhere to rest if they hadn't found her by nightfall. "Are you alright?" He asked Adelina, taking a deep breath.
Yume smiled, "That's good." She looked at Valemor, glad that they were in her den at last. "Do you want to stay the night?" She asked. "If Carmen comes along, she can stay, too. Kiriya and Ichigo should be back soon, too."

"Yeah, I'm fine, jsut a little worried that's all." She smiled and repeated the same question she had just answered, "But are you sure you're fine?"

Akiyama smiled, shrugging in an answer to her question. "Same as you, I suppose. Worried." He let out a breath of air and tried to steady his pace. "I know she'll be okay, but... it's hard not to worry for her."

"She's been gone for a while, how can we not worry?" Adelina asked rhtorically, "She can take care of herself, she has a good head on her shoulders." Addei smiled reasuring him as she placed her paw on his shoulder.

"For what?" She aske dunsure of why exactly he was apologizing. She smiled gently and watched behind his head as the snow drifted past. The sight was just oo beautiful to pass up.

A few moments passed before Akiyama responded, "For worrying so much." He wondered to himself if that was a bad thing, to worry. He let the thought pass and watched with Adelina as the snow fell. He moved so that he was standing next to her, not walking at all, the snow falling around them.
