She thought about her answer then started to speak, "Well just over there is a larger group but I was playing, then I spotted you"

Akemi chuckled "I'm not that hard to spot am I? With all the bright color and all."

"Nope" Chanti bounced around, "You have some pretty jewelry"

"Why Thankyou Chelle gave me most of it." Akemi grinned " I love your markings."
"Promise why don't you go get Kyanos and Solame and tell them to come here."

Kyanos and Solame run up behind Promise and Kyanos says "What's up mom?"
Akemi smiled at her two kiins then turned to Chanti. "This is Chanti, Chanti these are my kiin Kyanos and his sister Salome. Kyanos I just met Chanti and thought she might have more fun with some kiin around rather then just me."

Emerald walked up to Seri and Sugar.
"Looks like you guys could use some more help," Emerald replied as she watched the two knitting, memorizing what to do before picking up her own set of needles and starting as well.
"It's ok if you mess up to, since Seri can make the weave tighter, a missed loop won't matter," Sugar replied smiling. She was trying to keep her hope up, and being around all her friends was definitely helping.
"Mom," Peri asked as she walked up and glanced over at the bright green kiin and her children. "Can I go play?"
"Just don't go to far, and if you go somewhere else, check in and let me know," Emerald said as she took the jar of dirt from her daughter so she could run over and play.
Peri grinned from ear to ear and ran over towards Akemi, Kyanos, Salome, and Chanti.
"Hiya," Peri replied. "My name is Peridot, but you can call me Peri."

Seri smiled up at Emerald. "All help would be welcome. We're making warmer blankets for the winter," she explained. To Sugar she commented, "One missed loop wouldn't matter much anyway, would it? I'm not really sure how to fix them yet, so don't count on me."
Srenai wanders through the Valley, looking for some peace. Instead, he stumbles into a large gathering of pykiin. He glares around at the crowds for a moment, then his eyes stop and his expression changes suddenly. He stared at the blue, fairy-winged pykiin for a moment, then muttered to himself, "She's beautiful." He seemed almost surprised to hear himself say it. He walked slowly over to the group she was in. "May I join you? I am Srenai. You can call me Sren." He tried to speak to all the kiin, not just her, and he thought he succeeded.

"The only way to fix it would be to take out all the stitches and redo it," Sugar asked. "As long as you're sure you can ask the plant fibers to tighten themselves, it shouldn't matter at all."
Emerald smiled and giggled at Sren. She had barely overheard the young kin when he spoke. She began working on her blanket and thought of the day when she'd have a prince of her own.
"Hi Sren, you're in Marai's pounce, aren't you? Her brother Endy is in mine," Peri replied.

Sren forced himself to pay attention to Peri's words. "Yes, she is. Her mother is good friends with my mother."
"Yes, I should be able to do that. I was thinking I might be able to cut and reattach the fibers if I knew where the loop should be, but I wouldn't want to try if I wasn't sure, since it would ruin the whole thing." Seri nodded as Sugar confirmed her thought.

Peri smirked at Sren and could tell he'd rather pay attention to someone else so she looked over at Salome and Chanti, ignoring all the boys.
"So what to you girls like to do?" she asked sweetly.
"I haven't learned a way other than that, Jade might be able to fix it better if we're not too far past that part, but she's busy with homework and such usually," Sugar replied. "She found out she's going to be an aunt, so all her free time has been used sewing and knitting things for the baby."

"Quite understandable," Seri answered. "Raenia is often busy with schoolwork and such as well. And a new family member is always something to be excited about." SHe finished her third row and started on the fourth. "We'll just have to try not to make too many mistakes."
At Peri's pointed snub, Sren recalled his manners. Blushing slightly, he appologized. "I am quite sorry, Peri, I did not grant you the attention you deserve. I was," he blushed deeper, "somewhat distracted." His gaze strayed to Salome, but he pulled it back with an effort.

Peri grinned cheesily and pounced him.
"It's ok...just don't do it again," she said as she winked at him and walked over closer to the girls.

Sren blinked at her, surprised by her lightning change of attitude. "I'll try," he replied somberly, following her toward the group.

(I'm sorry. My play performances were Saturday and Sunday. ^^)
Tuwawi slowly and carefully inched toward Masashi, not getting as close to the water as she was. "Yeah, it does," he agreed, taking in a big sniff of the salty air, then scrunching up his nose as well. He peered cautiously into the water, not being able to see the bottom like he could in fresh water. This made him feel a bit more uneasy. If he couldn't see the bottom, he couldn't know how deep it was.
Vixen laughed along with them, then looked at Kovu when he spoke. "I'm not sure," she answered after a moment of gazing across the clearing. She eventually spotted a bright green figure, then a smaller orange one next to it. "Ah, there's Chanti," she said with a smile.

((That's alright. With the exception of Christmas, I've got a concert every single Saterday and Sunday (and one Friday) this month. So I completely understand. )) Masashi leaned her head over the water, taking in a wiff of the fresh, salty water. "W-wow!" She gasped, nearly falling off balance and into the water. She caught herself in time and looked back to Tuwawi. She saw his nervous face and spoke, "Er, let's go, huh? It's a little um..." she couldn't find the right word, so she just repeated herself. "Um, let's go," she turned and began walking back toward the forest and away from the clearing, still a little nervous. It seemed that more often than not she fell into the water. "Oh, you're right," Kovu smiled, glad to see that their daughter was alright. "I wonder if she's found a pounce yet? I believe Raki has." He smiled, glad to know that his son had found someone to stay with.
