Sandi nodded, looking at Sara. "It's very nice to know there is at least one person you can always confide in, isn't it?" She shot a glance at Raina.
Knowing what that was about, Eraina didn't bother to evade. "Not quite always. But it is a great comfort."
Sandi looked vaguely like she'd lost something in that exchange.

Sonea noticed Sara's look of confusion, and whispered, "They've been having some issues with their bonding. Raina has something worrying her that she won't tell Sandi, and Sandi's upset about it."

"Don't worry about them, they'll work it out. It just seems worse than most quarrels because they're so close." Sonea added, still whispering. SHe returned her attention to the salad on her plate, daintily biting into a slice of cheese.
Raina too had busied herself with the fruit on her plate, ignoring the glances Sandi kept darting at her.

Raina looked up from her fruit. "Didn't you want to meet Seri? She's the earth elemental, and she lives right in this grove."

Raina smiled sardonically at Sonea's back, and started putting the food away.

"You're welcome," Raina called back over her shoulder.
Sonea came to the clearing at the center of the grove. Going straight to the largest tree, she wriggled through the bushes at the base. "Come on!" she called, her voice muffled by the branches.

Sonea quickly reached the main room, and she hurried out of the way. Barely sparing a glance for the room itself, Sonea went to the stairs and called up, "Seri, visitor for you!"
