Nursery

[Raenia]

Sonea extended her own wings and flapped them. TO her immense surprise, she rose a few inches off the ground. Unfortunately, in her surprise, she forgot to keep flapping, and thudded back to the ground. Still blinking in shock, she exclaimed, "Wow! I didn't know I could do that!"

[ditzeeblonde]

Sara's eyes rounded in excitement, and she giggled. "I want to try!" She said happily, a giant grin one her little face. She flapped her wings as fast as she could, and rose an inch or two, but not nearly as much as Sonea. "I did it, i did it!" She cried, almost exploding with excitement.

[Raenia]

When Sara rose into the air, Sorka neatly flipped her tail out from under the other kiin. She clapped enthusiastically as the white kiin landed, a wide grin on her face. "I can't wait to be able to really fly!" she said happily, her tail flopping like a stranded fish in her excitement at their mutual achievement. "Mommy'll be so proud!"

Sara hopped up and down with glee. "This is so fuunn."

[Raenia]

'Yeah," Sonea agreed enthusiastically. "Let's try again!" Once again, she started flapping her wings as hard as she could.

[ditzeeblonde]

Sara watched her for a moment, and started flapping her small wings. Her eyes squinted with concentration. She soon floated a couple inches from the ground, and the biggest smile came onto her face, but this time she didnt fall.

[Raenia]

Sonea rose again as well, coming to rest an inch or two higher than last time. Since she wasn't startled, she was able to hover, wobbling up and down a little with each wingbeat. "This is really fun!"

[ditzeeblonde]

"Yes!" Sara said, agreeing. Her unexercised wings soon became exhausted, and she floated gently to the ground, her little feathery wings limp against her white and cyan body.

[Raenia]

Soon Sonea's wings gave out too, and she dropped to the ground. She let her legs fold under her, and her tired wings spread across the ground to either side. "That's harder than it looks when someone else does it." She commented. "I guess it will take a lot of practice."

[ditzeeblonde]

Sara sighed, an nodded. "I guess we have to build up our muscles in them. Maybe we could practice everyday together!"

[Raenia]

"That would be great! It's more fun to practice with someone. That's why I practiced pouncing with my sister." A naughty glint in her eye suggested that perhaps she just enjoyed pouncing on her sister more than pouncing with her.

[ditzeeblonde]

Sara giggled excitedly, and got up and stretched. "Im hungry. Do you wanna find something to eat?"

[Raenia]

"Sure," Sonea agreed. Then she paused. "But Mommy left me here, and she won't know where we went."

[ditzeeblonde]

"Oh, true. Maybe we could go find her and tell her!"

[Raenia]

"That's a good idea, I wonder where she'd be?" Sonea ran to the entrance to the Nursery, and looked around. "Mommy, Kalea, where are you?"

A white flutter caused her to look up. "Here, little ones, what do you need?" The syora asked in a low, melodic voice.
