Seri led Misrule back into the grove. At the back of the central clearing was a huge, tall tree with several buishes around the base. She wove through the bushes, and through the small tunnel they hid, and entered the den she had created, within the tree itself. She stepped aside after she entered, giving Misrule a clear look. The inside of the tree was hollow, with a ceiling about a foot above Seri's head. The walls shone, healthy golden wood. A staircase followed the curve of the side opposite the entrance, and beneath it baskets of food were stored. The lighting was very dim, but just enough to see by. Seri ducked her head and looked out under her lashed to see Misrule's reaction.

Seri gave Misrule som etime to look at the room, then she indicated the stairs with a nod of her head. "There's two more levels, well, three if you count... Anyway, the next floor is divided into three rooms, and the one above that is just one again. I thought, the second floor could be for kiins, and guests, and we could take the third floor. And then, another surprise." Seri preened a little in satisfaction. Then she remembered something and looked up. "I hope you don't mind, I made all these plans without asking...but it would have spoiled the surprise. We can always change them if you like. But you should probably know, since I was Raenia's first, she'll probably expect me to take care of any new kiins, until they find their own place."

Sara started at the tree house in awe. "This is amazing.." She whispered, as if not wanting to ruin it. She looked around, amazed. "Did she make this?"

[Raenia]

Seri appeared at the top of the stairs. "I did, and it took me most of a week to do so."

Sara looked at her, her eyes wide. "A week? Only?" was all that she could get out.

[Raenia]

Seri walked down the stairs to greet her guest. "Well, the basic structure took a week. I've been adding details ever since. But I am remiss. Welcome to my home, I am Serisai."

[ditzeeblonde]

Sara smiled, "Im Sara. Its really nice to meet you." She said enthusiastically. "I have always wanted to meet someone like you.."

[Raenia]

"It's nice to meet you too, Sara." She smiled down at the kiin. "Someone like me? Oh, you mean this." Seri gestured at the tree home around them. "An elemental of earth."

Sara nodded happily, "I didnt mean to sound rude.." She said, hoping that she wouldnt take any offense.

[Raenia]

"Not at all, Sara. You are far better mannered than many of the kiin who find their way here." Seri smiled and asked, "So you like it?"

[ditzeeblonde]

"Thank you." She smiled. "Yes, it is absolutely wonderful."

[Raenia]

"Good to know my work is appreciated. My children hardly seem to notice." Seri commented, mask raised in amusement.

Sara giggled, her eyes sparkling. "Im sure they did.."

[Raenia]

Seri shrugged. "Well, they've lived here since they hatched. They probably don't think it strange." Her bright eyes twinkled. "In fact, they probably think everyone lives like this."

Sara's eyes opened in wonder. "I have never seen any one else that lives like this, ever." She said, raising one side of her mask.
