Brandy was hesitant to follow, but did just so. She dove with all intent of holding her breath just incase, and followed Orrtha. It was only after she kicked through the waterfall that she took her first under waer breath. "Woah." She stated to herself as if felt a little funny.
She manuvered under the water following Orrtha towards the chute.

El looked at the waterweed and made a bunch of funny odd looking faces before she finally ate some of the waterweed. It wasn't as horrid as she had heard from Bryant, but it wasn't particularly great either. It tasted bitter to her. Quickly she chewed and swallowed the waterweed and dove down under ready to try out her gills.
Breathing underwater was almost just like breathing out of water which she found amazing. Now filled with a new burst of energy and excitement she went underwater again and followed the rest of the group towards the waterfall.

Laura grabbed some and forced it down. It did not taste like the berries she was used to. She followed everyone, but was a bit hestitated.
She closed her eyes and jumped in, feeling better when she could breathe.

Orrtha paddled straight ahead, determined to see the city behind the waterfall and unravel its secrets - whatever secrets it had about her father, especially.
As she swam under the waterfall, only slightly battered by the oncoming water, Orrtha felt a nagging feeling at the edge of her mind, but she brushed it away and focused on the great city that was coming into focus before her. She floated into the open, awestruck... but could only admire it for a few moments before a cage of driftwood snapped down on top of her and the other kiin. With a terrified yelp she dug her claws into the wood and tried to pry it apart, but the cage stayed firm and strong.
"Here are the lovely little test subjects!" A growl sounded above them, and a Syren's face peered in between the gaps in the driftwood. He turned and called to someone out of their sight.
Orrtha's eyes widened. "Test subjects?" She inquired fearfully, her voice no more than a low whisper. What was going on?

El followed Orrtha through the waterfall. She yelped as the cage dropped.Using her paws she tryed to push it apart like Orrtha, but gave up."What's happening?"she asked and looked around at all the others trapped with her.

"Well crud" Lola said only slightly phased as the driftwood caged crashed down. She wasn't too afraid yet. Scratch would be looking for her soon... hmmm but would he think of looking down here. She straighten her back mentally and decided that she didn't like being scared so she wouldn't be, this would be an adventure and if it wasn't... then she'd just try to get stay ahead of her fear.
She stared at the syren with unblinking eyes. Trying to put just atleast just a hint of her normal mischeivious twinkle in them.

Laura followed behind the group, and nearly had an heart attack as a crate came down. "EE!" She screamed and started to push against it. She gave up and grabbed the wooden bars of the crate. She started to bang on it and screaming.
"You hear me Warden? I have the right to remain silent! Anything I say can and will be held against me in a court of law!" She screamed and stopped and looked down and said quietly. "I hate underwater tribes."
She swam around in the small crate and wrapped her two tails around her. "I'm sorry for yelling." She tried to smile. "Sometimes I get over repulsive when it's a life or death situation, or I panic."

To say the least Brandy was a bit frightened when the cage crased down. Her ears lay flat against her head as she scrambled to one side of the driftwood cage. With her tiny jaws she bit on the cage, but was only able to leave a few minisule dents. The tast wasn't too pleasing either.
They were stuck, but no sense in panicking, they knew not what this Syren had instore for them. The title that they had recieved however made her worry slightly. "What do you want?" She called out as loud and forcefully as she could.

Orrtha's heart sank as the four other kiin protested their capture. She was starting to hate the underwater tribes, too. The cage moved along, and her brain started to whirl into action, trying to figure out how the heck she was going to get her comrades and herself out of this situation.
"At the very least, someone's going to come looking for us sooner or later, right?" She said hopefully, trying to lift the others' spirits. Lola looked unusually calm, as though she didn't really mind being in a cage.
Suddenly, she heard voices above them. "Shhh, you guys, we might be able to find out why we're in here," she whispered, trying not to attract the attention of anyone outside the cage. She perked her ears and listened carefully to the conversation outside.
"What... you're doing?" A muffled female voice snapped. The male's response was too deep and muffled to hear, but it apparently angered the female even more. "....twit!... these kits could.... we're not.... without my permission...." Her lecture carried on for a few more minutes, but Orrtha could only catch random snippets of the converstion, not nearly enough to understand why they were being held prisoner.
Suddenly the cage began to move again, much more swiftly, and Orrtha tried to peer through the small cracks between the slats. She was only able to see flashes of seafoam green amidst the rushing blue water around them.

Brandy too listened, but was only able to make out the same amount if not less than what Orrtha was. She had no clue as to why they had been captured, or what was going on, but Orrtha was right. Someone from the Valley was bound to get worried and come looking for them. Hopefully it would be sooner more so than later.
When the cage began to move she wasn’t sure what was going on. Brandy gasped as she tried to see outside, but it was hopeless. Her vision wasn’t good to begin with, and the moving of the slats only made it worse.
Feeling dizzy Brandy sat as the dim light moved around the cage.

((I have Farn's permission to roleplay her character just for this roleplay.))
The cage slowed and rested firmly on the ground. A sound like a latch turning met Orrtha's ears, and suddenly one side of the cage swung down to reveal a female Syren's face. It was sea-green, with a pale-colored mask, and a few deep green strands of her mane fell down into her face.
"My apologies, children. The guards were gravely mistaken." She stepped back to allow the kiin some space, her lavender paws floating gracefully through the water to their next resting place. "My name is Mist, and I've been waiting for some of you to return."
As Orrtha stepped out, she knew exactly where she was. It was a perfect fit to the description that Amaranthine had given her of the Sea Glass room. Her eyes flared as her mind pieced together the meaning of "test subject," and she turned to face Mist with defiance bristling in every fur on her pelt. "I'd rather eat duckweed than step on the center tile, you viper," she spat. Her words were only half-hearted, but they were backed with such force and spirit that Mist's eyes widened for a moment.
Mist relaxed and laughed quietly. "No, we have no use for testing the sea-glass on you kiin." The corner of her mouth twitched slightly as she spoke. "I just need to ask you a few questions."

Brandy smiled at the sight of light. She wasn't sure where they were, but at this moment it didn't really matter She was still underwater and that was a good enough answer for her.
She carefully scanned the room looking at all the bright colors. It was weird as she was sure she had seem something like what this room seemed to be made of, but she couldn't put her paw on it. As she scaned the room her eyes met that of the sea green female that called herself Mist.
She listened to what Orrtha said and flicked her tail, "I wouldn't, that weed stuff was weird." She wasn't sure what this duckweed was, but if it was anything like the stuff she had recently ate she wanted no part in that buffet.
"Questions?" She asked in sort of a humming tone, "I'm not good with questions..." She paused, "What kind of questions?"

El grummbled as she was let out of the cage. Now more angry then frightened no matter how much Mist had apologized."Lock us in a cage.ha."she said under her breath."I'm sure the others will hear about this and then they will be sorry." she looked around at the sea glass room. It was beautiful and for a few moments made her forget about her anger. A sense of securness and comfortness filled her for some reason. She shook it away when she heard Orrtha's angry words.

Laura coughed and whispered some words under her breathe. "Question?! I newer then new...I can try, but I tell you, I have reflexes like cat. Meow!" She hissed and started to choke on bubbles. "Oh, geez, those things are deadly!"
