"How long do you suppose we have to wait until they hatch?" Noel asked hoping Sunpaw would know, but haveing an inckling that he didn't.
She was intent on waiting until they did hatch, no matter how long it took. it hadn't occured to her yet that she had just grown and wasn't much of a mother. She knew deep down that she would do anything to protect them, and if worse came to worse she would get help from her father to raise them. He's perfectly qualified she thought he raised both Yakone and myself, and we turned out alright.

Sunpaw shook his head and shrugged slightly. "I'm not entirely sure. I don't think it's very long, though."
Honestly, he was almost scared of these two gemfruits. But he wouldn't be cowardly. He'd try his hardest to be a good father... And succeed? Perhaps. At least he'd have his family to back him up and to help him.
"Should we take them off ourselves so they don't get hurt when they fall later on?" he asked

Noel nodded answering Sunpaw's question without the slightest sound.
Her mind was still in a semi state of shock, and she couldn't fathom and words. Gently clentching the stem of the white one she carefully squeezed it causing it to snap from the branch. She handed it to Sunpaw quickly as he was probably in a better position to hold them and waited for him to grab it as she used her other paw to do the same to the brown gemfruit.
They were surprisingly on the heavy side. She'd never known before then what a gemfruit felt like, but when the brown stem snapped free of the branch she could tell it had more weight.

Sunpaw quickly took the white gemfruit from Noel. Not expecting the little gemfruit to be quite as heavy as it actually was, he fumbled for a second, and for one heart-stopping moment he thought that his claws had pierced the gemfruit's side or that the gemfruit was going to slip out of his grasp and fall.
However, neither of these things happened and he heaved a sigh of relief before gently picking up the gemfruit in his mouth, so his paws would be free. He grimaced in disgust; it had the most horrible taste! It was somewhat fishy... But not like any kind of fish he had ever tasted or smelled before.

Noel looked at Sunpaw and giggled slightly at his reaction to the taste of the fruit, "Not to tasty, huh?" She smiled and too clentched the other gemfruit in her mouth and loosened her tails grip on the branch before carefully pulling herself up, "What do you say we get these to the Nursery?"
She smiled once more, but without him answering took off in flight through the leaves and branches to arrive safely on the ground.

Sunpaw did not bother to nod, since Noel probably wouldn't have seen it, anyway. He launched himself off the branch and hovered in midair for a second, glancing around for the best path through the branches. He finally decided on a path and flew through the branches and leaves slowly. Now, if his siblings had been here, they probably would have made this a game; a game that involved flying at highspeeds while dodging branches without dropping the gemfruit.
Sunpaw grimaced at the very thought before swooping down and landing on the ground by Noel.

Noel nugged him playfully whne he landed, "Nervous?" She asked hoping that she wasn't the only one who had their stomach twisting into knotts. She set the gemfruit down between her two paws and stroked the side for a breif moment. She wasn't quite sure how to feel now that they were out of the branches, sure she had kind of known Sunpaw. At least what he looked like and his name, but knowing a name wasn't the same as knowing them.
She took a long deep breath before she lifted her head, "It's not too far I think." She stated casually refering to the Nursery.
