Sunpaw jumped in surprise when the Dryad opened up and Noel tumbled into the tunnel. "Noel?! Are you okay?" he called, balancing on a nearby root to peer into the darkness.
"Huh. Looks like this old tree does have an appetite for Pykiin," commented Lavender, trotting over to stand by Sunpaw.
Sunpaw, still balanced precariously on the narrow root, started to turn to glare at the Kinri, saying, "Oh be quiet--" And then a small Rodeli barreled into his leg, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the Dryad.
Seconds before the Dryad closed back up, a rush of wind above her head caused Lavender to look up just in time to see something green and feathery swoop into the tunnel.
The kinri stared at where the two Pykiin, two Rodelis, and one Syora had disappeared with a thoughtful look on her face. "Interesting... Very, very interesting..."

Noel awoke with a groggy feeling hanging over her head. ‘Wha… At happened?” She asked as she charily rubbed her eyes. She wasn’t quite sure where she was, but Sunpaw was next to her she could tell, or was that the thing that followed her into the Dryad when she fell?
Either way it was dark, but for some reason she felt safe. Somewhat like her mother was watching over her, but it couldn’t have been, she hadn’t seen Skittles since she was little.
She tried to move, but she couldn’t. Something was holding her back, controlling her movements and muscles and keeping her from even making the slightest budge. It wasn’t long before the groggy feeling took over her body and mind forcing her to drift back to sleep.
She hadn’t wanted to, but this unexplainable force wasn’t something she could explain to herself or overcome.
Once again she awoke, but this time she wasn’t in the darkness, she was outside the Dryad sprawled out on her back. It didn’t take her long to realize what had happened as her lazy eyes fluttered open and she stared warily up into the vast branches that swarmed her vision.
She took a slow breath and half lifted herself off the ground so she was laid out on her one side. She glanced down to where her mane, now long and brawny, was tumbling neatly like a cascading rainbow waterfall.
“Huh?” She looked around a bit miffed as she searched for her companion who she thought she left when she toppled into the Dryad.

Sunpaw blinked blearily. What just happened...? He remembered something hitting into him--a Rodeli, maybe?--and him falling into the dryad. Oh, yes. He remembered now. It felt like going to sleep, really. Not surprising, after all, since that was the second time he had experienced the Dryad's magic. What had happened now? Hadn't he been changed by magic enough already?
Sunpaw stumbled awkwardly to his paws. That was odd. After all, he may have a horrible sense of balance, but he could at least stand up without tripping over his own paws... Speaking of paws, they suddenly seemed a lot bigger. He looked over his shoulders and at the fur along his spine. It was longer, confirming his suspicions. He'd grown up!
"Well, I was due to grow up soon anyway..." he mumbled to himself.
Wondering where Noel had gone to, he looked around until he caught sight of her. Shaking his head slightly to clear it of the last remnants of grogginess, he trotted over to where she was.

“She got you too, eh?” She commented to him as she shook her mane and proceeded her ascent to her feet. Gently she shook herself causing her mane to go in all directions. “So much...” She paused for a moment as she picked up one of her front paws, “So much, magic.” She sighed softly as she looked up into the teal branches of the mighty tree.
She was grown now, and nothing could hold her back from doing what she wanted. Not even her brother who had restricted her from doing the things she wanted. She smiled thinking of the reaction Yakone might give her if she went to look for him and in her mind decided that she wouldn’t go find him herself, she would have him find her.
“Let’s just hope nothing else comes about this visit.” She said cheerily as she took a long gaze at the light brown male for the first time since she met him. She felt her heart pitter a litter as her beady eyes moved over his frame. His markings didn’t seem the same to her, not that they were any different than when he was a ‘Kiin, they just had a different appearance to her and she wasn’t sure yet if she liked it.
“Don’t you look dashing?” She remarked sweetly as her tail flicked suddenly followed by a rush of rainbow fur.

Sunpaw couldn't help but glance back at the hollow once last time when Neol made the comment about there being so much magic. She was right... There was so much; where did it all come from? He frowned slightly at the tree and then looked back at Noe, focusing on the conversation just in time to hear her last comment.
"Oh, um, thanks," stammered Sunpaw, turning slightly red. Then, without really even thinking about it, he blurted out, "And you look beautiful."

Noel smiled at first not letting the comment completely sink in, "So, we what exactly were we doing?" She asked nonchalantly trying to think of what they were upto before the Dryad played her little game.
Her wihte pelt gleamed when the glistening sun struk it making it look like pearly and shimmery. Sighing gently she looked up into the Dryads branches. Lifting her paw slightly off the ground she quickly stated, "I know what we can do! Follow me." She insisted as she shot up into the sky nibly landing on a high branch and surrounding herself with the teal leaves.

Sunpaw fluttered after Noel up into the canopy, alighting on a nearby branch and instinctively digging his claws into the bark a bit to help keep his balance. Scowling slightly, he spit out a small teal leaf that had somehow ended up in his mouth as he had made his way through the branches.
He glanced over at Noel, wondering why on earth they had come up here.

Balancing on one branch and walking in one straight line as if she were on the tight rope at the circus Noel weaved her way through the leaves. "You okay Sun?" She asked hearing him spit either at something or spit something out.
Hoping from the branch she was on to a new branch she over looked the jump and landed barely clenching to the bark and pulling herself up with the help of her small wings. She let a long breath out and waited for Sunpaw to catch up.

"I had a leaf in mouth," he explained, picking his way along the tree branch. He could fly, yes, but he was still anxious; he still didn't want to fall.
Finally, he relaxed his hold on the tree branch slightly and turned. He teetered on the edge of the branch for a moment before leaping from it to the next, fluttering his wings a bit just in case. Landing awkwardly on the branch, he dug his claws in to stop his forward momentum, perhaps a little deeper than necessary.
"Sorry," he whispered to the Dryad, pulling his claws loose from the wood.

"Hum, where now?" Noel asked aloud obviosly on a wild goose chase. "Oh wait I see." She suddely stated as if she were talking to herself.
It took her a moment to find her amblings, but once she did she didn't hesitate to leap to another branch, this time fluttering hre wings slightly so she landed on her toes. Nibly she followed the branch til she reached the trunk of the Dryad, nearly being ingulfed by teal.
She placed her paw lightly on the maroon bark and balanced on her back paws while sniffing the air. Something had caught her attention on the ground, but she was still unsure as to what it was.

Sunpaw leaped to another branch next to the one Noel had leaped to, landing a little better this time. Using his wings to help him balance, he walked along it until he reached the trunk.
Tilting his head slightly, he watched Noel. What was she looking for? Perhaps the Dryad's magic is calling her somewhere, he thought to himself.

Carefully Noel placed her paws back on the branch she was rested on facing Sunpaw. "Well this is weird." She stated.
Casually she slumped a bit, but quickly lost her balance and fell to quickly to catch herself with her paws. Instead her tail twined around the deeply colored branch and she hung upside down staring at two little bright gemfruit.

Sunpaw was about to nod in agreement when Noel suddenly lost her balance. Eyes widening in surprise, he was about to leap forward and--well, he probably would have ended up falling and hitting his head on branches a couple times.
Steadying himself again on the branch, he was relieved to see that she had wrapped her tail around her branch and saved herself.
"Are you okay?" he asked, leaning over as far as he could while still holding onto his branch. "What--oh."
He stopped and simply stared at the gemfruits.

"This is strange." Noel simply stated neglecting any pain that she might have felt when she lost her balance. "Really strange."
She glanced at Sunpaw, and then back at the fruit, "You think?" She paused, "They're our's." She finished a few seconds later. Taking a few slow blinks to make sure she wasn't dreaming she reached out her paw and stroked the tan almost creamish looking one.
The fruit was so tender, and it felt as if she could really feel the being inside.

"I don't... don't know," he said hesitantly. He could feel panic welling up inside him--he didn't know how to be a father!--but he forced himself to be calm and sensible. Wanting to get a closer look, he turned, looking around for a branch that was closer to the gemfruits which he could actually reach.
Stretching as far as he could, he placed his forepaws against the lower tree branch, and then dropped the rest of the way. Straightening up, he creeped closer to the gemfruits. He stared at them for several seconds before brushing his paw against the white one.
Wow.
