Shelby climbed the hill that lead out of her den. When she reached the enterance she took a deep breath. "What a great day it is!"she said to Calesa. Calesa leaped onto her back. "A good day for flying!"yowled Calesa. Shelby opened her wings and took to the air with out hesitation. Calesa held on tightly to Shelby long mane as they flew amongst the birds. Calesa looked down below. The Valley was beautiful. You could see soulmates picking flowers for each other, kiin chasing each other around and even pykiin introducing themselves to the VAlley. Calesa sighed. She was happy she was a part of the Valley and that she was bonded to Shelby. Shelby glidded to the ground by a pond.
Calesa hopped off her back and let the water of the pond touch her feet. Shelby did the same. "Want to go swimming?"Shelby asked Calesa.
"Sure!"said Calesa walking into the water.

Raina was out in the sky, revelling in her newfound freedom and the renewed strength of her wings. She finally felt at peace with herself, and with her bonded. Sandi curled securely between Eraina's wings, holding tight and staring down at the ground so far away. As she soared over the lake, Raina called back, "Let's go swimming!" Receiving an affirmative from the remiel, she folded her wings and dove into the water, down with a splash and up with a splutter.
Then the pair realized that there was another pykiin and bonded there. "Oh, I'm sorry," Raina said immediately. "I didn't see you from up there."

"Oh that's okay!"said Shelby. "We always enjoy company."she smiled and swam walked onto the shore." Hi! I'm Shelby and this is my bonded Calesa."she said gesturing towards the remial. Calesa nodded at them in welcoming. "I guess we aren't the only ones who thought today was a good day for swimming."said Calesa smiling. She jumped into the pond spraying water on Shelby.
"Hey!"said Shelby glaring at Calesa,but before she could do anything else Calesa had darted under water and swam to the the other end of the pond.

"I'm Raina, and this," Raina turned to gesture to her bonded, and found her gone. After a moment, she found the remiel swimming off toward Calesa. "That, rather, is Sandi." She smiled at Shelby. "Any day is a good day for swimming, but today is exceptionally good."

Calesa waited for Sandi to reach the other side of the pond. "Hey! I have an idea!"she said whispering to Sandi. Let's start a water fight. Remiels against Pykiin!"
"True. The Valley never has bad weather I've noticed."said Shelby wondering what Calesa was whispering to Sandi

"Great idea!" Sandi decided promptly that Calesa was going to be a good friend. "I love playing, especially with water."
Raina nodded. "It does storm on occasion, but never badly. What I meant, though, was just that I love the water so much I'd swim in any weather." She cast a glance at her bonded, but shrugged. They'd find out soon enough, or not.

"Okay"said Calesa scooping up some mud and drawing to lines on eaither side of her cheeks. She drew a diagram of the pond. Two circles showed where Raina and Shelby where and x's showed where they where. "Now we'll go under the water and swim over to the other side of the water without being seen. Then we'll fill our mouths with water and spray it on them! Then we jsut keep attacking them with water!"said Calesa drawing arrows to the other end of the pond where they would stop. "Sound good?"
"I would too,but prefer swimming on warm days if I have a choice." she said shrugging. "Do you think you will be a water elemental?"

Sandi studdied the plan with mock seriousness. "You are a great strategist. Let's go." She quietly submerged herself and started swimming toward the two pykiin.
"Oh yes. That is, when I find my soulmate." Raina blushed a little, thinking of a particular male. "What about you? Any ideas on element?

"I can't decide really."said Shelby. "I want Earth,but there's nothing about me that is Earth."
Calesaquietly entered the water and swam to the other side. She counted one...two..three with her paw and leaped up on three spraying them with water.
Shelby screamed surprised by the sudden burst of water."Calesa!!"she yelled jumping into the water and splashing Calesa.

"If you want Earth, that's all there is to i- Eek!" Raina reared up in surprise as she was sprayed with water. Sandi was sitting in the shallows, endeavoring to look innocent and failing utterly. "Well, if that's the way it is!" She leaped into the water and tumbled Sandi over with a careful paw.

Using her paw Shelby pushed Calesa under the water. Calesa jumped out of the water after squirming away from Shelby. She splashed Shelby again laughing. Shelby used her tail to splash water on Calesa who ducked under water before she got hit.

Sandi rolled under, laughing. She came back up splashing as much as she could. Raina laughed, a cascade of love and joy, and returned in kind.

Calesa filled her mouth with water jumped on Shelby's head and sprayed Shelby's head with water. She laughed and jumped off. Shelby stood shocked for a moment beofore laughing and jumping up and down splashing Calesa with water and creating waves.

Raina swung her tails through the water, engulfing Sandi in a huge wave. "This is the way to live," she said contentedly. "The only thing that would be better would be having a family to share it with."
