"Not really," Raina answered, absently bowling Sandi over with a paw. She knew how to amuse the remiel without disrupting her own thoughts. "I live with Seri and her family, but she's not really family, just a really good friend."

"Oh."she wondered what it was like not to have a family. She knew she would have a hard time without a family. She admired Raina for being able to live without a family. Shelby rolled Calesa over and the remial squirmed beneath her."If only I was big! Then I'd show you!"said Calesa laughing evily at the thought.

"I don't know about that," Raina told Calesa. "Sandi was with me when I was a kiin, and I still beat her at water wars three times out of four." She grinned at her bonded, who grimaced. "Now at least she has an excuse."

Calesa laughed."Yah,but I'm sure I'd beat Shelby!"
Shelby dunked Calesa under water again. "I wouldn't be so sure!"

Raina splashed some water at Calesa. "I take it you haven't been together that long? Sandi has been with me for a long time."
"Seems like forever," Sandi said in mock hopelessness. She ducked as Raina grimaced and splashed her.

Raina nodded. "You seem to be getting along well. Some pairings don't work out well in the beginning." Sandi snuck around and jumped on Raina's tail, but the other absently batted the remiel back into the water.

"Yes, I'm thankful that the Dryad made the right choice, of course she always does in the end, but I still worried at first."said Shelby squeezing all the water from her tail onto Calesa.

"I think we all do, at some point or other." Sandi settled long enough to exchange a glange with Raina. "Our bond was strained recently because I wanted to grow, and I wasn't as interested in playing. I wondered if Sandi would ever be more mature, she wondered why I wanted to be. But it worked out in the end." The two shared a smile, then Sandi ruined the moment by throwing water into Raina's face.

Shelby laughed."I'm not sure if Calesa will ever grow up and be mature."said Shelby looking down and Calesa who stuck her tongue out at Shelby. Everyone needs some childish spirit in their life though."

Raina grinned. "That's one way to consider it." She scooped Sandi up with a paw and set her on her back. "What do you say we go dry out in the sun?"

Shelby looked around. It would be night soon and Shelby figured they should to the same. Her and Calesa walked over to a sunny spot and dryed in the sun."Did you live anywhre besides the Valley?"

"I usually stay with Serisai in her tree. I'm thinking about moving out now that I'm an adult, though. Where do you stay?" Raina lay down on a rock in the sun and Sandi stretched out beside her."
