Maiara sat quietly near the edge of the pond. The wind ruffled her fur and made it seem colder than it really was which in turn made her give a slight shiver. She could feel the warmth of the sun still hitting her, but it just seemed as though it was getting colder, there were many things on her mind. One Tiger and how she felt about him, she hadn’t known if he felt the same, but she was almost more than sure he did. Two how would she tell Bern? Ara knew he felt strongly about her though they were only ‘Kiin she could just tell. Maiara never wanted to break anyone’s heart because what they would feel she was feeling almost twice over.
Ara sat, thinking and dwelling in her own thought for a while. Periodically she would dip her tail into the water, the surface was cold, but once her tail sat in the water it became warmer. Maybe everything would turn out okay, but what if they didn’t? Would Bern hate her? As she brought her tail out of the water she flicked it and sent the water flying in the air.
And as the water fell back onto her another thought hit her, what would it be like when she grew? She had just recently become familiar with all of her surroundings, would that all change when she grew bigger? Ara was so close to her environment that she could tell when a bolder was in front of her about two feet away. This was an accomplishment she had become proud of, but would it all change after the Dryad graced her with a more grown version?
Contemplating these things Maiara began to hum a familiar tune. She hadn’t truly known the song, but it had been stuck in her head for quite some time. Maybe if she came up with her own lyrics to the melody it would take her mind off all of her troubles. Ara layed and crossed her paws, “If I try to be perfect…” She stopped and hummed the tune again, “Nothing will turn out alright.
Keeping to myself won’t make me happy
And hiding from the world won’t help me fight.
Cuz if I fight for what I hold within my heart
Everything will turn out just fine” She stopped pleased with what she had come up with.

The wind was Sindri's blessing. It weaved through his thick fur, giving blessed relief from the heat of the southern sun. He trotted across the Valley, half exploring and half just looking for a nice place to lay and enjoy the cooler weather. He was distracted from his dual-task, however, when he heard a voice singing, carried by the breeze. He turned his head towards it, before deciding to see where it came from.
He soon found the small 'kiin, tilting his head when he saw her. "'Ello there, miss," he called, moving closer and ignoring the intense urge to leap into the still pond, both just to disturb it and also to finish the cooling off the wind had started.

Maiara quickly turned her head in the direction the new speaker's voice came from. It was odd that she hadn't heard him coming but she calmly responded, "Hello to you too, May I ask a simple question?" She asked as she flicked her tails together and batted her lime green wings. "Who is it that I am talking to?"
Normally she wasn't so angsty, but at the current moment she had many concerns on her mind. And though she was only a 'Kiin she was growing, and she was growing quickly. Not only did she feel that her own body was about to undergo several changes, her self as a whole was undergoing changes that maybe she wasn't prepared for.

Tiger was walking around the pond when he thought he heard singing. He was walking towards it when the singing stopped but he heard voices instead, one being a voice he knew quite well. He trotted towards the voice but stopped when he saw someone he didn't recognize.
Swallowing his fear he continued on and walked up to the duo.
"Hello Ara," he said quietly. "Hello, My name is Tiger."
Tiger turned towards Sindri and smiled his best smile.
He was very glad he had run into Ara though, as there were things that had been running through his head, but he wasn't sure how to bring them up. He took a seat near Ara, and smiled at them both.

"Greetings!" He gave her a quirky bow, before realizing after a glance at her eyes that it was very likely she was unable to see it. He paused, straighting before answering. "My name is Sindri. Who do I have the pleasure of meeting?"
When the other male walked up, he gave him a light nod, not nearly as respectful as the bow he had given Maiara. "'Ello there, Tiger," he responded. The two seemed to know each other, and he wondered if he had accidentally interrupted a rendezvous.

Ara stopped mid thought as she heard Tiger's voice, she was excited to have him near her once again, and maybe this time she would think her responses out, but maybe she would live in the moment as she had been taught by Dori. Still she sat quietly not quite sure how to aproach any subject. "Its a pleasure to meet you Sindri, my name is Maiara, but Ara is simple enough." She responded to the male that had fisrt aproacehed her.
The wind picked up and rippled the surface of the water. Maiara could hear Tiger breathing next to her, she could smell his sent. It wasn't a beautiful scent in a scense like flowers, but it was still enough to make her smile uncontrollably.
As the two sat there for a few long moments Ara made her move, she had decided she could bare to live in the moment and she would bare teh consequences. Maiara placed her head on his shoulder slightly and tangled her tail around his. Maybe her actions had said everything, but she was prepared to speak if need be.

Tiger smiled at Sindri and could hear his shadows following him.
"Tiger! Wait up!"
Tiger sighed as Millie, Rosie, and Safyre appeared through the trees.
Safyre simply smiled at Tiger and Ara and continued on her way to the meadow.
"Hi! Bye!" Rosie said as she followed her sister.
Tiger scooted closer as Ara set her head on his shoulder, and smiled.
Millie on the other hand saw someone she didn't know and pounced on him.
"Hi! My name is Millie! Wanna come play?" she asked Sindri.

Sindri looked amused at the newcomer, giving her one of his bows. "Why, I think I could be convinced," he told her, getting the feeling that the two 'kiin curled around each other would prefer to be alone. "My name is Sindri. What sort of game do you want to play?"
He missed being a 'kiin, though he enjoyed being an adult as well, so playing was no burden on him. It was strange, though, now that the thought of Shtiya having little ones was so fresh. He wondered if he, too, would become a father who, and, more importantly, with who.

Millie smiled her goofy grin and laughed.
"I don't know, I'd ask Rosie and Safyre, but they're already on the way to the meadow," Millie replied. She jumped in the air and landed on his head, looking at his markings.
"Hey! You're a buggy flitter too!" She said excitedly. "I thought my brother and I were the only ones."
((silly enter button...it hit before i was ready to))
Tiger kept smiling, but took a deep sigh of relief and gratitude as Millie basically distracted Sindri. He leaned his head down, and placed it atop of Ara's.

"A buggy flitter?" he asked, amused. He stayed straight to make sure he did not knock the little one off. "What do you mean by that? And shall we follow your friends?" He thought it best to leave Tiger and Maiara alone.
Still balancing her, he trotted a bit towards the meadow himself, keeping an eye out for the two 'kiin that went before them. He stopped when Tiger and Maiara were out of sight to wait for Millie's answers.

"That's what Jade calls us, cause me and Morpho look like butterflies or buggies!" Millie said. "She says i look like a Monarch, and Morpho looks like a Blue Morphpo, both types of bugs!"
"I think they went that way," Millie said, pointing with her tail. "Are you new to the valley? Have you met Sean? I like Sean, he's a lot of fun to play with!"
Tiger watched the two walking out of sight and lifted his head. He wrapped his tail around one of Ara's.

"Ooooh, I see. Do I look like a butterfly to you, then?" He smiled, looking back at himself. There were not many butterflies where he came from, so he was excited to learn that there might be one that looked like him. He glanced around as if he might see one fluttering around.
Sindri trotted off the way that Millie pointed. "I am very new, and no, I do not think I've met him. Is he a 'kiin, too?" It seemed their was a good deal of little ones around, and even more on the way.

Millie nodded.
"He's my bestest best friend in the world!" She exclaimed excitedly. "We like to play tag and tell each other secrets and lay in fields of flowers and just look around. "But yeah! You really do look like a butterfly, i can tell cause of the details on your wings, like mine and Morpho's wings."
"Did someone say my name?" Morpho asked as he walked up and saw his sister sitting on someone's head. "I ran into Rosie and Safyre in the meadow and came to look for you."
"Morpho I made a new friend! His name is Sindri, and he's a buggy flitter too!" Millie said excitedly as she jumped off Sindri's head and jumped on Morpho's back. "Where's Tarra?"
Morpho rolled his eyes good naturedly and smiled.
"Tarra is in the meadow waiting with Rosie and Safyre," he replied to his sister.
Morpho turned to Sindri, "Tarra is my daughter, and Millie's niece."

Ara tilted her head up and glanced to see how Tiger was reacting. He didn't seem bothered, as she kept her head on his shoulder she gave a little sigh of relief, maybe things would work out alright.
Tiger was a safe place for Maiara to retraet, and she love how he felt so calm and undercontroll, though she knew he probably had a million things on his mind, "So..." She started hoping he would have something to say.
Over in the feild a small brow blur dashed and pounced ontop of Morpho. None other than his daughter Nova. 'Hi, Papa, whatcha doin?" She asked as she perched herslef ontop of his head. Anana followed her and aproached the smal gathering of flitters.

"...so?" Tiger asked as he looked down at her.
He had so many things running through his mind, but didn't have a clue as to how to even begin to speak about them. He just knew that he really liked having Ara close, and wondered how comfy his shoulder really was.
"Hello there," Morpho replied as Millie made room for Nova.
"Sindri, this is my other daughter, Nova," Morpho replied as he walked towards the meadow.
Millie smiled at Nova and jumped down to run ahead.
"Tarra!" Millie called as she ran ahead.
