Sindri chuckled to himself, watching the 'kiin run about. "It's nice to meet you, Morpho, and you too, Miss Nova." He gave a little bow to the girl. "Quite a lovely family you seem to have," he mentioned to the other adult flitter. It made him miss home. He had never really had brothers or sisters, or even parents, but the entire village of pykiin had been his family, raising him together and willingly allowing him in their homes and hearts.
"Shall we follow her?" he asked, glancing the way Millie went. Maybe this sort of place could become like home to him; the thought, however, made his heart pang. He certainly did not want to leave his best friend just after he had found him again, and he was certain from what he had seen that Shtiya would not want to leave, but he was not sure he wanted to live so far away from the place he had grown up in permanently.

Morpho started walking slowly towards where Millie had gone, making sure not to knock off Nova.
"I'm very thankful the Dryad has blessed me with my family," Morpho replied. "My blood family, my pounce family, and my valley family. I came to the valley in search of Millie. My parents knew she was about to be born, but they weren't able to come themselves, and she was adopted by a pounce by the time I got here. I grew not long after finding her, and have been helping Emerald, the other adult in the pounce take care of all the little ones."

"It seems there are a half ton of little ones here," Sindri mentioned, smiling. "It's quite nice to see a place so alive. Though the heat is a bit unbearable at times."
He tilted his head, thinking about what Morpho had said. "How does one get a pounce? I've heard some mentions of it, but I'm afraid it's never been exactly explained."

"Well, a pounce is like a family unit, not all are blood related, but they're all looked after by the same human guardian. Our guardian is JadeAngel, she's a sweetie, and our pounce consists of all the different pykiin and flitters that belong to her," Morpho replied. "She takes care of us, brings us food, and takes us for trips whenever she can. Though, there are so many of us, she usually takes us home a few at a time, while the rest stay in the valley. Our pounce also has several different dens. We have the main one, which is quite close to the Dryad herself, then Sunshine and his soulmate Kohana have their own den, as do Firefly and his soulmate Naomi, and Misrule and his soulmate Seri. I don't have a soulmate, and haven't really found that special female yet, so i have no problems whatsoever staying at the main den with Emerald and helping with all the little ones that live there."

"Oh, I see. I suppose Gabelet's my "guardian"... well, she's the only one who has talked to me, at least. So I'm guess I'm part of a pounce and didn't realize it." He thought about this; he did not like the idea of 'belonging' to a human, and he was worried that he would not like his pouncemates, whoever they were. He would have much rather have chosen his pounce.
'I don't need a human version of a mother,' he thought to himself. 'I can take care of myself.' Still, he made a note to himself to go see who these pouncemates were.

Morpho could see the wheels turning in Sindri's head and laughed.
"Yes, you have an 'owner' but it's only to take care of you, and to help you," Morpho said. "I didn't think I'd like having a guardian at first, but Jade is pretty great. I know Gabelet's pretty good too, cause Jade sent her one of Emerald's kits when they were born, and Jade is pretty picky about who she leaves us too, and to who even get's to watch us when she's out of town."

Sindri jumped slightly at being so obvious. He flushed slightly at being revealed, but shook it off. "Really? I shall have to get to know her better, then, and my new pounce mates. Do you know any of them, by chance?"
So there was at least one kit in the pounce, at least. He did not mind that; it would be nice, being around children a bit before his friend had his own.

"I know Alvida, that's Emerald's daughter, and I've glimpsed the others around the valley. I think they're all kiin, though one is getting ready to grow, or so I've heard," Morpho replied as they finally reached the clearing, where everyone was running around and playing.
Morpho gently reached towards his back and removed Nova, nudging her to go play with her sister, her aunt, and the rest of the kiin.

Nova nipped her father slightly and giggled before she gave him a slight lick and ran off and pounced on Tara. She nipped at Tara’s ear and batted at the tuft on it before she jumped up off of her and glided over to her mother’s side.
Anana smiled at her daughter and ruffled her hair. “Nova, you go and run along now.” Anana smiled and nudged Nova back in the direction of the other ‘Kiin.
Over on the other side of the vast field, Ara and Tiger sat side by side. Ara tiled her head slightly off of Tiger’s shoulder and sighed. The silence was killing her though it wasn’t exactly silent, she could hear the blades of grass ruffling in the wind, and she could hear the fish swimming in the pond, just with out hearing anyone’s voice mad her feel a bit lonely. Though she knew Tiger wouldn’t leave her, she wished he would open up and tell her what he was thinking. Ara slowly flicked the tail Tiger hadn’t had a hold of and tightened her grip on his tail. She laid her head back down on his shoulder and shut her eyes.
(( Sorry it took so long to reply, I've seemd to be getting quite caught up in RL situations xD ))

Tiger took a deep breath and sighed.
"I want to say something, but the words keep getting tangled in my head," he admitted, trying to break the silence.
He moved his paw to cover hers and mumbled to himself about going ahead and just saying what it was he was wanting to say even if it did sound rambled.
He took a deep breath and nuzzled Ara as she lay on his shoulder.
"Ara? There's something I've been wanting to ask you, but haven't quite figured out how to ask you, so I'm just going to blurt it out, and hope that it comes out right," Tiger began to ramble. "I've liked you as a friend for as long as I've known you, but lately, if I'm not near you, I feel empty, like something's missing, and the feeling goes away as soon as I think of you or see you, and I guess what I was wondering is if, well...I mean when we grow up, if you'd be..."
Tiger was rambling and speaking so fast his own head was spinning and he had to pause to stead himself.
"...if you would be my soulmate," he finished with a huff.

Ara sat for a minute and enjoyed the silence after Tiger had spoken. It took a lot for him to even begin to speak; after all he was generally the shy type. She too hadn't known had to respond, and to be frank, she had believed she had forgotten how to even speak.
Soon though she blew air from her nose and began, "I too have been feeling quite the same and to be totally honest, I don't think I would be able to function knowing you were with anyone else. Now does that seem conceited of me, or am I correct in my feeling? But I'd be glad to be your soulmate when the time comes, which from the clamor of the Valley should be soon." She took a deep breath and then added, "I was waiting for you to ask honestly.”
She leaned in closer to him and returned the nuzzle, her heart by now was beating so fast it seemed as though she had finished running away from something. And maybe she had been, but now she felt safe, and she was glad that Tiger believed the same.

((you have no idea how much fun that was to type )) Tiger let out a huge breath that he hadn't realized he had been holding, and chuckled. "It's funny, how being afraid of an answer will keep you from asking the question...because the answer might not be what you want to hear, but I'm very glad to hear your answer," Tiger said quietly as he kissed her cheek. Morpho chuckled at Nova and Tarra as Tarra retaliated the pounce from her sister. She ran over and smiled at her mom before turning around and pouncing on Millie, who looked shocked at being pounced by her slightly smaller niece.

(( Urg.. I have to go to bed xD Thought I'd have more time, so I'll edit this post tomorrow some time m'kay? ))
Maiara smiled as he gently kissed her cheek, "I know what you mean." She remarked at his last statement. There were so many things she was afraid of, but now she flet as if they had all gone and faded in the wind. They would still be there, but she would deal with them when that day came.
"I was afraid that I would never get my perfect fantasy, actually. I was always told that there would be no garantee for me, you know in like life. I wasn't garateed friend, but I found Dori and then Bern and you. I wasn't garanteed to be able to fall in love, and I wasnt' garanteed that I would get any elemnt." She sighed heavily as she felt like she had just lifted a load off of herself.
Ara then carried on, as she had a tendancy to bable, "It's not that I was told I wouldn't succeed or, I would never amount to anything, its just the fact that I can't see." Ara scrunched up her noise, "I've always wanted to yoiu know? I can fele the sun, but I can't see any of the light that shines from it. I can hear and feel the water, but I can't see the fish that swim. I just feel like I've missed a major part of my 'Kiinhood. You know?" She stated, and asked hoping Tiger would understand, but knowing that in some way he would.

((then i'll edit this one as well have a good night )) Tiger nodded. "I believe you'll get whatever you set your mind to do, and I believe that there will be a way for you to 'see' one day, and it might be through you're element, if you choose to go that path, and if you find a bonded, though I know if you put your mind to it, you can find one as well. I'll always be here, and I'll try to explain things as well as possible," Tiger said quietly. "I didn't fall in love with you because you could see, I didn't because you can't...I fell when I met your personality, and no matter what happens, the feelings I have won't fall away."

She was correct in her thinking that Tiger would understand, and why wouldn't he? He had no reason not to, and even at that he would have tried his hardest if he hadn't.
Ara smiled widly and nuzzled him deeply, "I have no doubt that I will succeed, I've gotten thus far in my life, and I know I'll carry on with you next to me." She paused for a breif moment, "Maybe when I do get my elemental power I'll be able to obtain some form of sight, who knows. All I fully understand at this moment is that it is far off in the furture."
She had never thought of gaing an elemental pawer before, but now that she mentioned it she couldn't help but wonder, "Tiger, what element do you think would suit me?"
