Laughter dieing down slowly but not disappearing entirely, Uzuri said softly to Sorka, "Boundless energy is a must when you have endless Valley to explore and learn." Her laughter still evident in her voice. "They are but kiin, as we once were, and I remember more often that not getting told to calm down." She remembered Tidus threatening to tie her to the dryad more than one time when she was younger.
Fuyumi stopped squirming almost instantly, as though a wind up doll would stop when they needed to be rewound. She stood up and shook the dirt and grass from her fur and sat on the ground next to their mother, straight as a board as though nothing had happened, a look of triumph on her face.

Sorka nodded, her amusement making her eyes sparkle. "I'm sure you're right, though I don't remember being a kiin, actually. I came to the Valley with Lakrai, as an adult, and I remember little before that day."
Sorka lowered her head to look Fuyumi in the eyes. "All better now?" she asked warmly. A gently blue paw reached out and removed a stray blade of grass from her fur.

On his way to the Nursery in hopes of being able to drop his daughter, Blaque, off to find friends outside of the family, and relieve her brother. A small group of mostly females came into view. With a slight breeze blowing in his face the large blue male landed with ease.
Walking to wards the group he recognized only one, Uzuri. He hadn't spoken with her in it seemed to be months and she now had her own family started. "Hello." He started, "I see your family is blooming beautifully, Uzuri, these are your daughters are they not?" Blaine gestured to wards the little girls who were practically the spitting image of their mother.
Slowly as he spoke, Blaque crawled from underneath her father's shade to reveal herself. The little black first caught sight of all of the large adults lingering around, and quickly pulled her ears back making herself smaller, 'Maybe if I'm small enough they won't see me' she thought to herself.

The big female seemed to think she was a kiin. Maybe she was just a really big kiin? Skye liked her right away.
"Im not full of branches." she giggled.
Then she looked back at herself. There were in fact a number of branches sticking out of her fur at odd angles. Oopsie.
"Well...maybe a little." she amended. "I think the bush wanted to visit too."
After all if a tree could be talked to then a bush could want the same. The bush might even be lonely sitting there all alone. She tried to make a mental note to come talk to it once in a while. Being lonely was bad, that much she knew.
The male who'd helped her sit up spoke up then. She'd almost forgot she asked him a question until he answered it. First she had to answer his though.
"Yep, I was there. Thats why I was wondering about the tree. I mean the Dryad..."
So the dryad thingy made her huh? Funny. Her mother had always said her and daddy who grew her in the cabbage patch.
"Is it like a big cabbage?"
That might be where the seeds for the cabbages came from.If that was so, then the tree, er, dryad was sorta like a sister right? Or a brother? How did you tell anyway?
Skye listened in on the grown-ups conversation for about half a minute. They werent talking about anything fun. Just kiin, and she already new about them because she was one.
Just then a male with big pretty wings flew up to land nearby. Fascinated by the shimmer they gave off, she trotted over for a closer look. Up onto her hind paws she climbed, trying to reach them. One of her paws reached forward, batting at them. They were so...shiney.

((Quick shower and now I feel refreshed. Cameron you may want to include the name of the pykiin speaking. )) Uzuri sighed at the thought of not remembering herself being a kiin. How hard that must have been, she enjoyed her days of being a kiin, and if it hadn't been for that dreadful day when she fell into the hole with the white Rodeli, who was now bonded to her, like Alice when she fell into Wonderland, she would still be a small kiin. That time had passed and she must now head forward into the future, "How awful to not remember being a kiin, but then again, you can watch your kiin and think about what you may have been like, dream up a perfect kiin life." She smiled at the thought. Fuyumi smiled at the adult female and said in a matter of fact way, as though a little girl would speak when she knows more than you do, I would have been fine if we were over there." She pointed with her nose to the direction of a patch of flowers and clovers. Audra had still yet to move, she was in a mighty game of statue, and she seemed to be winning. You could see the determination written all over her that she would not be noticed, so her mother ignored her, so she could continue to "Hide". Uzuri then answered the newcomer as he entered the small group in front of her, "Yes they are, an this one? She is yours?" She had met Blaine when she was younger, although hey had not seen each other in a very long while.

Sorka smiled at the kit's pert response. "Indeed, I'm sure you're right." She winked and grinned before lifting her head back up to the level of the other adults.
After carefully considering Uzuri's words, Sorka shook her head. "What I never had, I can't miss," she said pragmatically. "I have no memory of being a kiin, so I can't wish I did." She sighed, changing her mind. "I do wish I remembered my parents, though. That would have been nice."
Since she had come to the Valley, she had wondered about her parents. Were they soulmated? What were they like? Hadn't they loved her, to leave her on her own? Were they even alive? So many questions, and no way to know the answers. Unless... What if her parents were here, in the Valley? Would they recognize her? Sorka realized she was only raising her hopes, and she put the thoughts out of her mind, shaking her head fiercly.

(( Eh, sorry I thought I added it in there somewhere ^^; ))
Blaine glanced down at Blaque who seemed to be quite frightened at the sight of so many adults. She had only ever been around her mother and him, and Blaine had forgotten. He slowly ran his paw down her back to ease her terrified mind and cooed at her as he replied, "Yes, Blaque, you are mine aren't you?" Blaien teased at his daughter for a brief moment.
Blaque gave him a slight smirk, the same he had always give her, and responeded, "I cirtianly hope your my father." She slowly released her tension and looked at the cyanish feathered winged girlie who seemed to be batting at her fathers wings. Blaque gave her a slight smirk then picker her self off the ground and stood next to Skye to see what she was really trying to get to.
Blaine who hadn't really given any attention towards the little Cyan girl, looked down and smiled. He then leaned down so she could climb up on his back, "Do you happen to have a name?" Blaine asked hoping he seemed friendly enough for her to want on his back.
(( Urgh, be back later... ))

Oops again. Skye had gotten caught. The male didnt seem to mind though. When he lay down in easy reach she climbed right up on his back. It was closer to the shiney wings, which she immediately gave a good sniff.
"Of course I do." she giggled. "I'm Skye. Who're you?"
She hadnt exactly been paying attention to the adult talk. It was boring. At the moment her attention was mainly on the shineys anyway. She settled into a more secure sit on his back, and then slowly reached out a paw to touch one.
"You must be lucky." she decided. "I didnt get any wings and you got four of 'em!"
Imagine having four such pretty things attached to your back where you could pack them around all the time! It was like a dream come true. how did you get them she wondered? Maybe if you do something really really brave? That always got the heroes thier fondest wish in the storybooks. Nodding to herself, she decided to keep on the lookout for the chance to do something really important and earn her wings.

Blaine gave her a half smile that resembled his ever so popular smirk, the one his daughter used frequently and replied, "Blaine, its a pleasure to make your acquaintance Skye."
He then began to flutter his wings together rapidly so it seemed as though the wings had disappeared, and all that was left was an endless array of colors swishing back an forth in front of Skye. "You may not have gotten any fairy wings, but you certainly have a feathery set attached to you." Blaine remarked as he poked at her back.
Blaque sat in admiration of how sweet her father was to wards the other kit, but she still wished that he would pay her some of his attention. Maybe he was done with her and was moving on to some other kit, was she not good enough for her? She wondered as she sat quietly almost like a statue.

{ OOC: Are there planes in pykiin land? }
Skye watched utterly enraptured as the pretty wings formed a rainbow blur in front of her. It made her own feathered appendages seem rather dull in comparison, though they were the same pretty cyan as the rest of her. She flapped them, rather clumsily since she wasnt really old enough to actually use them yet.
"Yeah...but they arent shiney. They're just blue, like me."
His poking tickled though, and she laughed. Her little tail whipped around as the laughter made her a bit frisky. More so than usual anyway.
"Blaine... are you named after the flying things?"
She was pretty sure they were called blaines...or maybe it was planes... It sounded something like his name. She liked blaines. They made a loud noise but they flew really well.

((In Pykiin Valley I think no planes, but you are however allowed to take your Pykiin out of the Valley, like if you go on vacation you can "Take her with you" And she can see planes there.))

Uzuri listened to the little cyan kiin, who she had just managed to catch the name to, talking about wings to Blaine. She did not wish to interrupt but knew she had to tell about the wonderful things you can do with feather wings. "Yes his wings are very pretty, but just imagine being able to soar and go really quickly, these are some of the tings that you can do with large, full grown, feathery wings." She then opened her wings to show the little kiin the majestic looking wings, that were definitely larger and more powerful looking that the fairy wings, but were also very pretty and feminine looking on a female such as herself.
Fuyumi followed her mothers actions again and unfolded her feather wings as well. Hers were not nearly as impressive, but still very strong looking. She loved having wings like her mother's and you could see it on her face as they were spread out for all to see.

Looking back and forth between the two sets of wings, Skye had to admit they did look a lot stronger. Still, she had some doubts. Her own tiny wings stretched out as she tried to flap them again. Looking at Uzuri's once more, her face took on something of a skeptical look.
"You mean mine are gonna grow to be like that?"
It didnt seem very possible, considering how very puny hers were. At the moment they werent even large enough to let her glide down from a rock. She knew this through personal experience which had left her with bruises on her bottom.
"How long does it take?"
One of her paws rubbed her backside for a second in remembrance of that definately not fun experience. She couldn't wait to be big enough not to have to worry about falling off rocks. Even Fyumi's looked like they were stronger than hers. That might've been just her imagination though.
