I've been thinking latly, maybe we should have guest colored/inspired Pykiin for things like flatsales, and contests. I say this because I myself spend some of my free time just messing with color combinations for customs. Currently I have more than six that I have created. What are your views on this topic?

You mean, like a "color your own" contest, where we are given the line art to create our own customs? Or do you mean like we color them and give them to K13 to sell at flatsales and stuff? Interesting thought. I myself can't color on the computer, and I really like K13's coloring methods. I dunno, maybe if she gets overworked she could hire some guest colorers, but other than that I think K13 should be the only one to color them. Just my personal opinion.

Actually I have the same problem, I can't color for squat, but I mean like fill out a custom form when K13 asks for guest colored Pykiin, and then instead of having to come up with the designs herself, she can use the form you sent in.
Now, I'm not saying this so everyone can go and fill out a custom form and send it to K13 hoping to be chosen, but we could have a drawing and who's ever name is drawn gets to create the Pykiin for the event.

It sounds like a good idea, as I know from experience after a while it all looks the same. Helping with color combos might be nice but other than that if she asks is when you help.

Good idea Cam. I would love to let people guest color the Pykiin on their own computers, but unfortunately the file format is for a specific program that I highly doubt many people have. A color combination draw is a bit better. I'll keep that in mind for future events!

Ok now I just have to know what program you use. (Not that I want to color any of these you do much better then I ever could.)

PhotoImpact Pro, version 8.5. It's pretty basic, but I think it cost around $80.
This summer, however, I'm thinking of buying Photoshop, which I know more people have. If the files can convert to PSD, then I may color them with PS instead.

You don't need a CD to run it, so if she would let you borrow the CD to install it to your computer there's a good chance that it would work.
