Beauty Contest - Nominations

Okay, so in celebration of a few very special birthdays this month, I have asked to hold another Beauty Contest. Seeing as everyone has so much fun with these it only seemed right to hold one. As there hasn't been a Beauty contest in a few months, all Pykiin are eligible to be nominated regardless of the fact that they may have been nominated in the last one.

To nominate a Pykiin all you must do is look through the directory

General Rules
~No whining, Begging or being Rude
~Do not spoil the fun that others may have
~Others rules may be added if we see fit
~Have Fun

Timeline:
~Nominations Starts today and lasts until Tuesday (2 days)
~Public Votes will last from Wednesday. (1 day)
~Contest Portion Will last Thursday-Saturday (3 days)
~Mods, Guest Judge votes and prizes will be announced Sunday (1 day)

Nominating Rules:
~May only Nominate 1 Pykiin per month
~May not Nominate your Own Pykiin
~No Pykiin can be nominated two months in a Row
~After being Nominated we will expect you to fill other requirements. You may decide to forfeit on your own if you do not have the time to fulfill the other requirements.
~Please make sure you know if the Person/Pykiin you are nominating will be able to fulfill the other requirements

Voting Rules
~May not vote for your own Pykiin (honor System as if you do your vote will not count)
~Please do not share who you voted for.
~PM (moderator in charge of voting) with the name of the Pykiin you are voting for in the subject line.
~Do not send more than one PM.

Final Voting
~Mods and guest Judge will make the final descision.
~If a Tie incurrs K13 will act as a judge or a random generator will be used.

Guest Judges
~You do not ask, apply or beg to be Guest Judge. We have a list and we will make sure everybody gets a chance.
~When we contact you, you have 24 hours to contact us with your vote or we move to the next Guest Judge.
~You must not tell anybody that you are the Guest Judge until after the judging has occurred.

Writing Contest Rules
~Stories must be kept between 300-400 words.
~Poems must be kept between 50-100 words. (Unless we State otherwise)
~Must be age appropriate. (G Rated)

Art Contests
~Must be age appropriate. (G Rated)
~Must be posted in a link on this thread.

I would say if you can avoid it, don't. ^^
It would be terribly hard for me to run the event and still judge assuming that which ever Pykiin of mine you nominate gets enough votes.

Quick random question: How come all of the beauty contests we have done have been writing contests and only one being an art contest? =/

Because all the writing events have been differnt. And we dont' want two contests the same one after the other. and I have to ask, does it really matter, as long as the MOD's can choose without being too bias. Plus I think there have actually been two art contests. I would have to doubel check my records though

Sinsoo, the contests are what ever the MOD chooses it to be, if she chooses a writing contest, that's what it's going to be. We all are lucky that K13 agreed to running one this month at all. ^^
