I've got a few who don't live quite in the valley, so I just put arrows. Panda, I hope it's ok that I put Akiyama on there as well, since he is living in the same direction. PM, they followed the river up into the mountains, so it would be great if the river could continue up past the lakes. i147.photobucket.com/albums/r290/cadivizio/Valleymapcopy.png

I can of course continue the rivers, I just hadn't yet, so if others added their homes around the area I could maneuver the rivers and creeks around them

Wow, the Valley is looking amazing! I might have to make several maps, though, it'll be hard to label everything at that size. I'll manage to do it, though We might want to "divide" the valley into different sections so that it's easier to navigate in roleplays. They wouldn't be real divisions, just ways to point out broad areas on the map. Another thought on that is, we could label parts like 'the southern caves' and have that part of the map be linked to a more detailed picture that displays all the homes/special places in that area. It would probably take a lot of work, but we wouldn't have to finish it right away, after all we still haven't placed everything yet. ^^

Well Chelle and I discussed that it would be easier, and less stressful on peope who are or have added things already, to finish this map as is, then split it up and put a little more detail into it when all our main things are placed

What ever works... I just thought I'd put in my thought as I havn't been informed on the well being of the map. ^^

Of course, I just realized that both Chelle and I had discussed it but never wrote it in the thread for everyone to see.

Cam, that was what I had in mind, but I agree that I'm not going to go into detail until after everything is placed. Another thing I was thinking was instead of putting pykiin's names everywhere (in the final maps) we can have names for the locations where they live. For example, Kisima and Reilee's waterfall could be called the western waterfall (Silent's northen, Blaine's eastern, Fera's southern), or it could have a more creative name, like the Waterfall of Tranquility. That way the map will be much easier to understand, prettier to look at, and I won't have to edit it if a pykiin decides to move to a new home. With all of the pykiin that keep coming into the Valley, it would be pretty hard for me to fit everyone on the map, so I'm trying to fit every thing instead

Pretty much, The names being added are shearly so I know that I got them in the right place, but as you can also see they are easily removed. Nice idea to give names to the bigger things, but what about the little dens?

I understand why you put the names in for the time being. I think when we "divide" the valley into sections for the smaller map areas, we'll be able to add smaller dens to the more detailed maps. And a den on its own doesn't have to have its own name, either, it could just be found in a specific area, like "such-and-such forest" is where a certain tree is. I think I'll add quite a few trees around Tinaeus' home, for example, because he doesn't have a specific name for his tree. His tree and Akemi/Sky's could be moved a bit closer to the group of trees at the river's edge, and that area of forest could be given a name, but not all of the inhabited trees in that area would need their own individual names on the map. They could, but they wouldn't have to.
I might start to organize the information from the Dryad's account once we're done placing and I'm ready to put in names. This inbox is cluttered enough as is.

This is really cool! ^_^ Wow you guys have been hard at work! I'm going to take a look and think where my Pykiin live and if there's anything I need specifically added. But most of my Pykiin are happy just to curl up in a forest tree, unless they're living with a particular special other.
