Well, I've wanted to do this for a -long- time and have finally gotten around to putting my plan into action. I want you, the members of Pykiin Valley, to play a significant part in shaping and influencing the world you roleplay in. Specifically, I want you to help fill in the edges of the map - to help "design" the Valley itself.
I've started a small, unfinished map of the Valley with some of its more important landmarks - namely the Dryad, the Nursery, the pond, and a river/stream/call it what you like. I also tossed in Tinaeus's tree-home, because I felt like it :3 These are the most important places in my roleplays, but the Valley is so much bigger than that - and you guys know, because you've created it! I wish I could read all of the roleplays and put in all of those places that are special to you and your pykiin, but I don't have the time to peice together all of the different parts of the world that you have imagined into being.
Here's where all of you are going to help.
This is how I see the Valley so far - it's very lonely and pretty boring, neh? I know that there have been mountains and caves, forests and flower fields, and even an ocean in the Valley or near vicinity of the Valley. So where on they on the map? I don't know - you guys do. Show me!
You can do pretty much whatever you want to in order to show me what the Valley looks like to you. Use this map as a starting point if you'd like, or make one of your own. You could even plot out a peice of land just outside the Valley if one of your kiin is a loner. It doesn't have to be fancy or detailed - just make sure I know what everything is supposed to be. If you put your ideas in this thread they are up for community use and anyone can add your landmarks to their maps. Collaborate if you want to, in fact it's probably a good idea to group up and decide where you'd like things to go if more than one person brings their pykiin to the landmark often.
Overall, just show me what the valley looks like to you. I'll try to fit as much as possible into the final map(s) of the Valley, to be fair to everyone. Have fun building the pykiins' world!
