Sunlight watched Yume go apologize to Dory, That was quite kind of her new friend. However, didn't bother going and apologizing to Dory. In her mind, she had done nothing wrong.
She curiously watched a few other Pykiin congregating around one who seemed to be trying ot stay out of the party. After a moment she shrugged and sat down, still, watching all of the others.

Another Pykiin stepped into the group, standing on her toes, her tail tip flicking back and forth nervously.
Her hair was parted neatly and twisted into curls, pushed back behind her ears, and her mask was ivory white, frilled with swirly lace. She wasn't wearing a dress, but she thought she looked ridiculous in it anyway.
On her front legs she wore long velvet 'sleeves' that reached up just below the shoulder, and lace was attached to the ends near her feet and trailed on the ground.
She wore a skirt of the same white velvet, frilled with lace like her sleeves that trailed along behind her, but it also had pearls stitched in a swirlie pattern on the end of the velvet.
And lastly, the Pykiin wore a beautiful silver necklace: The chain was spread out and ornately weaved to look like lace, and a small ruby sat on her chest, having been weaved into the chain. A look-a-like tiara sat on the Pykiins head.
She looked around anxiously and waited for something to happen, as she wasn't exactly sure what to do now that she had arrived.

"There is no need to apologize." He said to Yume. "I was merely joking to lighten the mood and get you to loosen up. You should be having fun, not be hudled behind another scared." He added, "Look at me, I got thrown into a fish suit, and I am trying to have fun."

Rusty narrowed his eyebrows at the newcomer. Why did she want to come up to him? He was barely ever approached.
"Hm? Me?" Rusty asked, his one eyebrow lowering, the other staying above, although it was hard to see, due to the gold and black mask that covered them. "Well, I guess. But these happy-looking decorations are really harshing my mellow." He grunted.
Rusty's eyes then turned to a branch fairly close to his. "I'm Rusty." He said firmly, lifting his head with pride. "Who are you?" He asked, his deep voice not hesitant one bit.

Yume kept looking at the ground, "I don't think I'm going to be able to loosen up at all. I can't believe I'm even here. My gaurdian just raided her closet and threw a dress on me. And then stuck me here, without knowing who was who, or anything else. No offence meant, but I don't trust anyone here right now," she said. Then she looked at his costume, "And you look fine. It's not a 'fish suit'."

"Oh yes indeed a fish suit." He said, "I was told that I am dressed as a Blue Tang to be exact." He rolled his eyes, "be happy you didn't get stuck in something weird like a giant hotdog suit or somthing."

Kevin skimmed his eyes across the milling crowd, searching for a familiar face. He was almost positive that he knew all of them here, but with so many masks and costumes it was near impossible to tell who everyone was.
With a swish of his tail he trotted off, looking somewhat silly as his cape trailed across the ground, covering his little toes. He didn't particularly care for the ornate getup, but... just for tonight, he would try to loosen up and have some fun.

[glow=blue,2,300]Kira[/glow] Kira sat idly watching the others, her fur was covered by deep sapphire and scattered sequins about the bodice and down toward her feet. Over her head was a semi-large mask of some sort shaped like a pure white cat head; maybe the night would turn out interesting, maybe she'd have fun, who knew. |

Rusty groaned at the fireflies. "I banish you." He ordered them. The fireflies disobediently stayed, making Rusty even angrier.
"I cannot wait to get out of this itch machine." He sighed, rubbing his back.

Sunlight overheard Rusty trying to order around the fireflies. Trying to keep from laughing, she called up to him, "They're fireflies. They aren't particularily intelligent, you know!"
