Some of you know that my sister-in-law was put in the hospital last week because of a mass found on my niece during a special ultrasound. I'm sure most of you have seen the commercials about the 3-D ultrasounds, and now there's such a thing as a 4-D, meaning it's not just a picture, you can see the baby moving and such. If it wasn't for this ultrasound then they wouldn't have caught the mass (which should be fine on baby until she's born) It's a good thing (though it was difficult news at first) because now they can monitor both baby and mom and are already talking to surgeons in case surgery is needed after Jaelyn is born But I finally got a copy of the ultrasound and I just had to share! I can already tell she has my brother's nose xD The first picture is a regular ultrasound of her profile, the other two are of the 4-D ultrasound. Profile PictureJaelyn's FaceSo cute

Babies are pretty tough, so I am sure she will be fine My nephew almost had to have surgery when my friend (I call her kinds my nephews), was still only 5 months pregnant with him. He managed to geta bit better, she carried to term (with lots of monitering) and then after he was born he got more attention. As I am sure your niece will too. Try not to freak (which is next to impossible I know) but try. She's goign to be a light you all need and she will be just that.

when the doctor was trying to tell them it was a tumor on the baby (I've NEVER even heard of that being possible on an un-born baby) we were freaked...now that it's just a cyst or mass, we're all pretty relaxed. She's going to have to go in to see the doctor 2-3 times a week, but as of this moment they see no reason why she shouldn't be able to carry to full term

My Nephew had Kidney issues, to which he was going into kidney failure in the womb. She was freaked and her other friends kept worrying her more, but I managed to calm her, and the doctors helped with hormones and he managed to not really get better, but get no worse.
He did have surgery before he was 6 months old, but he was up and about within hours of waking up.
