well, today is my b-day, and my mom decided to tell me that she is pregnant. I laughed, because i thought she was joking. But it turns out she wasnt joking, and that she is 2 months along. I really dont know what to think about it because my mom is 40 yrs old, and it will just change everything. I cried for a while, thats how much it shocked me. Im not sure how to take it, but i think it could turn out well.

I can see how that could be surprising.  And it certainly will change things, having a sibling/another sibling. But I suppose that on the bright side, at least your little brother/sister will be born at a time in which you can remember all the fun times you have with him/her.  But perhaps your mom shouldn't have told you on your birthday.... Hmm. |

Aw, congrats to your mother.
And don't worry I had the same feeling about my mother a while ago. She was 40 too when she became pregnant with him, and didn't bother to tell me untill I made a really bad indirect joke. xD
It was a really akward situation. At least your mom told you. ^^
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! *huggles* You seem to really need it.<3
