Ok so sad story can be quite comical until you understand the severity of the issue.
So PM was sitting at her desk typing and drinking a glass of juice. Well she set the glass down adn thought to herself, oh you could knock that glass over and get juice all over yourself. Then I thought, ahhh I am not going to, I will drink it before I knock it over.
Funny story so far? Well here it is, the punch line, I knocked the juice over. Yep that's me.
Funny huh?
Nope, it spilled all over my keyboard. Yep, they don't like juice, so my keyboard, the one that is much loved and doesn't hurt my wrists, well it died of juice poisoning.
Not so funny anymore huh? Well now I can't talk as much, because I have a hard time typing with basic keyboards, and I do NOT have $80-$100 to buy myself a new keyboad.
Sad huh? Well now not only do I live in a town I can't stand, but I can't go on PI or into the Valley to chat anymore, until I get a new keyboard.
I will be around but not chatting. Which is sad.

Aw PM! I'm so sorry.  If I could get it to you, I'd gladly give you mine. My mom has the same issue and brought home like 3 of the same wireless keyboards from work. I would if I could, but technically they aren't my property. I don't even think my mom's work knows they are missing. xD But any who. I hope to see you around, I really do. It will be a bummer not to see you at the usual threads and such. I hope you do get the money, though I'm sure all of us both here and on PI can understand if that isn't for a while down the road. ^^ ... Looks like meh is gonna have to pick up some slack on this mod thing than eh? ^^ *hugs* I'm sorry for such an unfortunate event. It seems that when you overlook the worst it always comes back to bite you. |

Oh no I can MOD, that is never an issue, that is something I said I would do and I will continue.
It is just hard to type because arthritis in my wrists and a normal keyboard don't mix. I love my split keyboard. Must figure out Paypal.

I know it's not that funny...but it's how you worded it...juice poisoning XD that's the part that makes me laugh
I understand not being able to get just any keyboard...if my keyboard died...i'd have to get a whole new computer (evils of a laptop)
Hope you get a new keyboard soon!

aww, PM, im sorry! I hope that your wrists dont hurt you too much. I would send you some $ towards a new keyboard, but i dont have a paypal account, and i doubt my mom would let me send any. But i hope everything works out with it though..

Hahaha, thank you all for your words. My hubby loves me and took pity on me, so I will be setting up my new keyboard right now, and saying goodbye to the old one, which doesn't bug me since my new one is exactly the same

My loves my new keyboard, and all it's letters are visible on the keys (Which they were not on the old one due to a full year of loving use)
