Ok, so Mom just realized that she got my sister a lot more Christmas presents than me, and she asked what she could get me. She wants to get me something I'll use at college next year. I suggested a tablet, and she asked me to look them up and see which one I'd like.
I know Wacom is the best company for tablets, what I'd like to find out is the differences between the different models, which ones any of you have, and what you like/dislike about them.
Thanks!

Wacom is definately the best when it comes to tablets, I wouldn't reccommend any other brand.
My wacom is a Graphire4 6x8, but they dicontinued Graphires a short while ago. The equivalent is a Bamboo Fun medium size, and it's a very good model for a very reasonable price. If you were looking for anything larger, you'd have to jump to an Inutos, which is a good model as well but much more expensive. I think a 6x8 should be sufficient, but I wouldn't recommend going much smaller than that, the more drawing space you have the better.
If you wanted to go really fancy you could ask for a Cintiq, but that's -really- high hopes xD Basically the Cintiqs are computer screens that you can draw right on to, but I doubt there's anything you can do with it that you wouldn't be able to do with a regular tablet.
