Snow!

Well... more like flurries. But snow!

We walked out of church this evening and each flake that alighted gently on my face was a gift from God. Even though I'm not a big fan of winter, flurries are definately a wonderful thing and I love the soft cold when it's not too windy or below zero. x3

I ran through the snow beside my sister Jaela, giggling the whole way, and when we got to the car I was reminded of an old song from elementary school that's just so riduculous I had to bring it back. It talks about snow falling on your nose and having to wipe it off to warm up your nose again, and it came complete with hand motions. When we performed it in first grade for the winter concert... just imagine fourty little kids rubbing their noses x3 Jaela, Mira and I - the only ones who got it, since we were Frenchies together - were laughing the entire way home. And when we got tired of the "La Neige Tombe Sur Mon Nez" song, I started up with "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" which everyone joined in to.

It was magical, to be honest, the whole family singing, laughing and enlightened by the appearance of this cold white fluff.

Time to make myself some peppermint tea to celebrate <3

gah, every time i hear 'snow', i want to cry. About a year ago i moved from New Jersey to Florida, and well, we dont get snow O.o

But congrats on witnessing your first snow this year!

I don't know whether to feel happy or not, really. I get to lounge around in pjs, but that's only because I'm sick and feeling sorry for myself. Mmm, fun. I just have a lot of reasons why I want to go back to school, and a lot of reasons why I don't, but I think I want to go back more. Sitting here in neutral isn't going to get me anywhere, I want to shift to drive and keep moving through the things that life is throwing at me.

Yikes, Driver's Ed is driving me slightly loopy.
