She's Back

Well My daughter went to Gramma's (My mom's house) on the 9th. I know that doesn't seem like a long time to be away, but I am a stay at home mom, and this was the first trip away from her I have ever had, other than 3 over night stays where I was in the same town. I know she had lots of fun as I talked to her every couple days, and talked to my mom every day.

Well, I have been bored, stressed and a bit anxious to get her back home. Not like I don't trust my mom or step dad, it is just that she was not with me, and I worry, go figure I did what any mom would do.

She came home today though. She is happy and has lost of stories to tell. She brought home a load of stuff, including 3 boxes of clothing from my cousin (who is three years older than my daughter).

So I am thrilled, and because of that I wanted to share with you all. I am going to look at all the photo's that they have for me on a disc and may even share a few with you.

I have tog et her ready to start the Schools thing so she has to go to bed, and I am not too sure she is goign to go very well. Too many late nights

Aww, yay

Good luck with getting her to bed. It was always hard trying to put kidds to sleep after they'd stayed up late when I over-night-baby-sit :/

I was but my mom kept extendign the time, but when she said she was thinking about another week I said no I want her back.

She isn't too bad to get to bed, she may just not sleep

lol yeah :] and thats what i do, even though im 14 yrs old. Sometimes it takes me hours to go to sleep, so i lay in bed for hours =/

So she went ot sleep easily enough last night, adn I am still trying to fond time to go through the photos, as I just went through all the new clothing today (three boxes)

She always does. You see I am a mom who does not let her kid get away with things. This is one big reason my dad and I don't talk. he seems to think that this is fear and intimidation instead of raising a child to be respectful. God I hate that man. Luckily I have a good Step dad.

Sorry I had a bit of a rant in me.

She is a good little girl though and that is just how she was raised and who she is
