I know this is none of my business, but it is kind of sickening. I understand why approvals are a new requirement to adoptables (although I cannot say I'm completely supportive of it.) People just doodle something up, post it in a thread and say.

I know I may sound rude but come on. It it that hard to read a couple of paragraphs? It's just so frustrating to look in threads to see if the adoptables are nice and you see one picture. One. Forgetting to add if they have any concept sketches, or the finished cert I can understand, honest mistakes, but for the people who just post something and expect it to be approved? >

And the people that post in the threads are even worse. If they're notifying the person that they're missing something in the first post that I can tolerate, but if someone just posts to say "OMG I want one! I'll give you 5,000 PGs!" is just down right... ugh. That person apparently hasn't read the rules, is lengthening the adoptables time in approvals, and is on my nerves.

Then there's the ever so popular "Why aren't you approving my adoptable?!?"
You now why? It takes long.
"Its been there for three days though!"
Mine has been in for two weeks. Tough.

These people are so inconsiderate to the MODs of PI, who, believe it or not, have lives outside of PI. I hate how people think the MODs and POTW just live for PI. As much as I hate waiting for approval, it makes things much easier, in my point of view, and I respect (kind of) the rules and the reasons behind it all and I just wish some other users could do that, too.

Actually, I totally and completely agree with you, Farnley.
The thing that drives me most insane mostly, is that a lot of people bump. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but bumping, or commenting even, is against the rules because the MODs don't want a bunch of bumps. I mean, I may be wrong, but it drives me nuts, all the same! Some of the people who have beautiful adoptables needing approval, who are obaying the rules, have to wait just because the people who're bumping the threads push the other threads to the back.

If that's rude to say, tell me, and I'll edit it. But that is my opinion. In any case, I agree with you, Farnley.

Yeah, since each bump sends the adoptie to the end of the line, it's very disrespectful, especially for an adoptie you like and want to get one of.

I know exactly how you feel! I can't stand the wait but the people that are always bumping them when they are already have been in there for like a week and are almost to page 10 then they just bump it and now you have to wait for another week probably more.

I have never had the problem with people bumping, it should be said that a ban from the adoptable will be the result if bumping occurs as it slows down the approval, and also I state that comments by PM is wonderful and encouraged.

I have had 6 adoptables through approvals and never once had a problem.

I agree with PM, you should recieve a small forum ban if bumping a thread in approvals..

One of my adoptables in approvals had a bumping problem, and it's just so frustrating. It's even more frustrating to see someone elses thread be bumped or commented in. It shows that they didn't read the rules and disrespectful to the owner of the adoptable.

No I will ban from my adoptables if they post.
If they are commenting they like them too bad, you bumped and are now banned from my adoptable. I have people banned from my adoptables already and a few people that aren't even allowed in my guest colored auctions for breaking my rules.

I have never had the bumping problem though. I get PM's for adoptables in approvals.

Sometimes you have to make sure your point is there. I am always nice about it and therefore never seem to have a problem.

In my approvals threads, at the beginning of the thread I post in bold, "If you post in this thread and are not a MOD, you will be banned from <such and such amount of events>" unless it's not my decision to make.

I haven't had much problem with bumpers and random commenters as long as I bold the statement at the beginning of the post and possibly the bottom of it, too.

(Also, I'm moving this to General Chat, it fits a bit better there)

I've posted that and bolded it, and put it in red. I've seen others do that, too, and people still comment in the thread. It just mkaes me feel bad for the adoptable owner.
