I recieved a PM today that I am not sure how to take. i would like my starter back plz.! her name is gold star!
That's it nothing else just I want my starter back. Mind you it is a starter that I bought from the market. several months ago, as she had been sold to PI so I am not sure what I should and/or what I want to do.

I hate people like that. If you sell them to the pony Market they are gone. The only way to get it back is to buy it back or buy it from an owner who has it for sale. Not very often will someone just give a starter away
If she becomes bothersome, contact a MOD or let it die.

Actually PM I think this person was editing the ponies profile, and put it up for sale. I just think you should ask this person for your pg back, and give the starter back.

how long have you had said pony? If you've had it a while, it would reason, at least to me, that if it had been a mistake, that i would have notified the person who bought it immediately, and offered them whatever they had payed for the pony, and maybe offer them a free breed or something with him/her

I agree with Jade, if you've had the pony for several months then politely decline the offer.
Also, if she does continue to pester you, try offering her back for the amount that you paid to get her - if you got her at a reasonably high price that the old owner doesn't want to pay, than you can tell her that she's begging which is against PI rules.

It happened to me once...someone PM'd me asking me for their starter back, said she regretted selling it, and had traced it to me (she had been sold a few times) we made an arrangement for her to pay me what I had payed (which was more than what she had sold her for) and she said it would take a few days. I asked to have one breed with the pony while waiting for her to collect the money, and she was fine with that.
Then she dissappeared, and even though she's online every once in a while, she's never asked for the pony again.
I'd already had the pony for a while, but as I had tracked down a starter of my own that I had sold almost a year earlier and realized I wanted back, I was understanding on that part.

I am sorry but my opinion is that if you are editing the profile and put it up for sale then that is a mistake you have to ive with, kind of like over contesting. You can no longer call it your pony. I looked at the said Pony and Chelle has had it for a while by the looks of it (2006-12-24). This person has no right to ask for it back, it was sold and gone a long time before, especially if you are not offering anything. Knowing Chelle she would not kill it and that was merely a throwing your hands in the air giving up response, when someone harrasses you, kind of a fine if you won't leave me alone neither of us can have her.

I wasn't offended but I have had the pony since atleast December maybe January. but more then six months for sure. I was taken aback. I personally haven't sold any of my starters (that I know of) so I haven't had to track any down.

Yikes, what a weird situation! Let us know what comes of this situation!
I sold one of my starters when I really needed pg and now she's dead. Sigh! She was put on the Pony Market and some trial bought her and didn't pay for their account. Poor Pineberry.

PonyMama- the person has a right to pm Chelle, but that doesn't mean Chelle has to sell her the pony back.
I agree though if I sold my pony on accident I would know right away.
I think you should ask the girl why she wants it back, because we don't really know why.
