Okay, so THIS has been my life the last couple of days:
Last Friday I got pulled over because my car inspection was overdue.....by seven months. *hides head* I was stupid, I thought the January mark on the sticker was for NEXT Jan., not last Jan.! Yeah, so....cop gave me a $133 ticket. >___<
So I call my brother who works on cars and he says he can get it inspected, but the garage isn't open til Tuesday, so I drive down to his house Tuesday. Well he gives me directions and I'm driving to the car garage to have it inspected and about a mile down the road from my mom's house, my tire BLOWS UP! 0_0 This is not a flat tire, the tire is in total shreds! I've never seen anything like it. Yeah, so, I borrow this nice stranger's cellphone and call my brother and he come and brings a doughnut (a tiny emergency tire) for my car and brings it to my mom's, then I give him money to go buy a new tire for the car, and of course by then it's too late to get the car inspected since the garage is closed.
So I stay overnight at my mom's despite the fact that I have work Wednesday morning. I call the office and tell them I'll be late. Then I drive to the garage and guess what? MY CAR DOESN'T PASS. It needs a bunch of things done, despite the fact that my dad said it should pass no problem...
So now I'm stuck at home with no drivable car and this Friday I have to go back to my mom's house, so my brother can work on the car during the weekend, then wait til Tuesday to have it inspected AGAIN! *sighs* And my mom doesn't have internet access at all so I'm going to be DAYS without the internet and that makes Ryuu cry. ;_;
I know I'm lucky I have family like this who I can depend on (and also lucky they all live near each other) but it's so frustrating when everything in the world is going wrong! >___<
