Three hours is all that it takes, I swear. I spent a three hour practice this morning and I come home to find I have a million mosquito bites. Alright so a million is over exaggerating it, but I think next time I'm going to remember to put some bug dope on.

and that is why I do not camp. It is also why I love living in a town where mosquitos do not thrive, as it is way too warm adn they die before mosquito season even starts

-lol- That is majorly lucky for you. They thrive every where up here! I mean everywhere. One of the safest times to go out is whne its 'blistering' hot out, and in the sunlight. But today its wet out and I guess they love water.

Oooooh -shiver- Misquitoes <.<
They stay from early spring to early winter here. I hate it.
I love summer, but hate it at the same time. I love summer itself, but hate to ride in it
1. Bugs and you get bitten/ junk like that 2. The horse get's bitten by a bee/deer fly/ horse fly and 2 out of 3 times the horse will spook 3. Boo has this disorder where he can't really sweat, and if he isn't cooled down soon enough he'll over heat 4 The heat strengthens the smell of manure while mucking out a stall.

Yeah, those have to be the worst parts of summer.
But I think my pros way more than my cons
Pros Soccer softball track and feild sun no snow its semi warm
Cons Bugs and I'm thinking thats about it for my cons

It doesn't even take 30 minutes before I am covered in them. and with all the rain we have had lately it just makes it worse. Not counting the West Nile out breaks we normally get with high mosquito populations.

Eck! West Nile Virus >.< Once we went to the beach and my friend was bitten by a misquito and the bite had enlarged over the last couple of days, then, while we were at the beach, a bunch of junk came out of it. ew....
Well, I love summer, those were just cons for riding in the summer.
Also, to add to your list: Tanning Ocean Hot guys on beaches
and then to add to my con list: Sunburn Peeling Gross smell of aloe vera plant

Oh the joys of Mosquitos.... oh wait there are none. All they do is bite, annoy people, and reproduce to start that whole cycle all over again. It can get hot down here in Georgia but other then that, it's just the water that the mosquitos like. I've gotten bitten 75 times before in one day. It wasn't pretty.
Lol, hots guys are nice but never what I want around. They make me really uncormfortable when I'm swimming.... >.>

Worst time of the year is when it gets hot and humid. Worst combination of being hot and sweaty plus sticky that I've experinced in my life.
